although a small room it does have some modern touches. bed was comfy bathroom was nice. pool looked good and clean though we didn't get time to use. nice touch is soap dispenser over sink and in shower with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all much better than fidly small bottles found in most places and the dreaded hard to open soap bar. generous serve of milk as opposed to the mini ones most places have.

air con is on the older side so a bit noisey.

The place was good, it was certainly value for money- we family of three got 5 cots/beds and all slept like babies after a long drive. Comfy beds and bathroom is clean. Overall a good place for a short 1 or 2 night stay for families, couples or solo travelers. The location is fantastic too, to explore the beautiful Bega and the historic places nearby steeped in history and culture. Thank you.

The staff were quite curt, we travelled in holiday season and generally there was a friendly vibe in the community- the staff made no point to greet or chat. Not that they were rude, but a smile can go a long way :)

Big clean room. Shower pressure and heat was really good. Room had a microwave and some basic bowls, plates cutlery. Table in room was useful. Fairly quite area and hotel only had to see the staff at check in but they were nice and friendly.

Shower had a shower curtain which is a pet hate of mine not the fault of the hotel.

The friendliness of the owner was a positive: he was easy to talk to and happy to respond to my requests. The motel was very close to the main entrance road from the south, and close to the main shopping centre.

Because I like to prepare my own breakfast, which I brought with me, I looked for a toaster -- which wasn't there. As soon as I asked about this, a toaster was given to me. If the practice is not to provide a toaster unless requested, then that should be made clear in the welcome package. The absence of a sink for washing my dishes made things a bit difficult, although once again the owner readily supplied me with detergent so I could use the handwashing basin.

We were looking for a base to visit parks and beaches along the NSW south coast. The motel was well located for our needs, and furthermore, surprised us with friendly helpful staff and very comfortable, albeit basic, amenities. The price was also very reasonable given we visited during a peak period.

When I need to get to an early bus and couldn’t find a taxi or Uber to get me there that early, the owner went out of his way to give me a lift there. Much appreciated!

Large sized studio room had everything we needed for 1 night stay. Bed was comfortable and everything was very clean.

Some of the other guests were a little noisy but a staff member did go and ask them to keep it down.

Comfortable bed, clean, quite, friendly, plenty of hot water, very pleasant

Heavy use of bleach, the smell of it was overpowering, had to leave doors and windows open for ages to ease the smell, our eyes were watering but it proved the cleaning was top notch

The motel is what it is. There's only so much you can do with the facilities that have aged. Best greeting from anyone working reception at any of the places we stayed at during our week's trek thru NSW. Our room was brilliant. Comfy, cosy. enough space for my daughter and I. Seafood Basket is a must have.

Parking. Again they've done the best with what is there. A load of road base at the top entrance gate would be welcome. A little bit of rain made the grass very slippery and had the potential to have the mud get drawn into the parking area. Makes the down gradient hazardous at best.
