I usually stopped for a night here on my way to Melbourne. The room is clean and basic needs are satisfied. I especially like the private parking outside my room. This is a huge plus. The view from my window towards the bay and the hills is amazing. Sometimes, I saw kangaroos at night, feeding outside in the back garden. NP Motel is under new management, and I believe I will see more improvements. 👍👌

Nothing much. Perhaps, adding face towels and a microwave in the room would help. Vicky is working very hard to add more improvements to Norfolk Pines Motel, Merimbula. Well done! By the way, personally, the wash basin was a little awkward for me. I am kind of tall and bending down, I could not help messing up the floor with dripping water. All the best to you, Vicky👌👍

location was perfectly situated on top of the hill overlooking the town away from the congestion of high rise buildings in the town. Though it is located on a hill, it is a walking distance to the town. The room is clean, simple but in good taste, bathroom has good supply of what we need. To our surprise the back window of the room has an amazing view of the lake making our stay worthwhile.

The motel is incredibly well-situated, offering breathtaking views. The owner greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the property. She was exceptionally kind, eager to show us around and make our stay memorable. We were treated to a stunning sunset and even had the privilege of seeing a close-up group of kangaroos. We felt truly cared for and welcomed. Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of our journey! Thank you very much.

If you want an amazing view then this is the place. The front of the Motel gives you fantastic views looking down to the ocean and Merimbula township, the back looks onto Merimbula Lakes. Very relaxing especially watching the sunset. Room was compact but very clean, the bathroom was quirky as in the 70s look but amazing at the same time.

Couldn't really fault this place, my only gripe would be no air conditioning as I feel the heat but in saying that there was a fan which I utilised.

Room was smaller than expected and lights from traffic came through the gap in curtains. Also the bathroom drain could be smelled in the evening.

We were driving to Melbourne and arrived late. Our host for the night was waiting for us, and showed us to our rooms. The motel is an older style - almost American - in a long row next to the road. BUT the view in the morning, overlooking rolling hills, down to the estuary. It was lovely. A real holiday find.

Good location and great view! It was clean and had everything we needed. I loved seeing the kangaroo's outside our window and watching the sunset.

The small curtain that blocks the light above the door was not long enough so the room was quite light. It would also be good to have a full length mirror.

The view was excellent looking over the lake. Kangaroos passing by our window.

Better heating as the one on the wall hardly gave out any heat. The little fan heater was better. No tea towels to dry the dishes and no hot water in the bathroom sink. We were only there for one night so it was alright for us. An electric blanket would have been nice too.

Perfect spot to stay!! absolutely stunning, the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets, Vicki was awesome so helpful with spots for my husband and I to go and visit while we stayed there, also enjoyed chatting with her about what we got up to for the day absolutely recommend staying at Norfolks Pines Motel.

It was very clean and comfortable. Vicky, the owner was fabulous and went out of her way to make us comfortable. The views at the property are absolutely stunning and it was just so amazing when Vicky called the kangaroos up to the back patio! She is like the Kangaroo Whisperer! We had our very own kangaroo grazing show!
