Crown Apartments Merimbula are AMAZING. The location is central so everything is a 5 min walk, but also peaceful (exc. the many many instruments from the jazz festival). The view was perfect and the apartments had everything we needed. Normally you’d pay extra at other accommodations for things like a spa or balcony view, however these were both part of it! The heater was on for us when we arrived, so that was a nice touch. Great value for money, we will definitely be back again 🫶🏼

The rooms are paired with the doors being super close - this is fine however it does sound like someone is trying to get in when they’re actually just entering their room! 🤣

Walking distance to restaurants and cafes

The room that we were given was positioned in the corner of the complex, on the 1st floor where the pool was and we didn't have a view from our room, only looking at the brick wall of the pool. Balcony had no privacy, had to keep blinds closed most of the time that we were in the unit as people were walking around pool area, would have been nice having coffee on the balcony. What a shame, only had three days to get away but the unit was well-appointed and in a great central location in Merimbula.

Great location, walking distance to shops,club for nice dinners and beach, great views from the balcony with heated pool 3metres from your room. The apartment was fantastic! Very clean with quality appliances very spacious, the bed was very comfortable great shower and spa, thought I was at a resort it was so nice! Lift to all floors with secure underground parking. Overall this hotel is a very nice place to stay we will definitely stay there again.

Um let me think…. Really can’t find anything I didn’t like about this property, it really is a nice clean modern place to stay!

Fantastic location, only minutes from the town. Walking distance to everything local - boardwalk, beaches. Pool was fantastic, I think its a mineral pool. View was amazing to wake up to each day

A dryer in the room would have been great. And a few more supplies for 4 people staying 5 nights would have been helpful - 2 rolls of toilet paper was never going to make it! Staff are happy to accommodate more supplies as needed though.

The property is in a great position close to shops and eateries and across the road from the lake and walking track. The units were very clean. It’s always great to be able to do your laundry. We had 2 units the dishdraw in unit 11 couldn’t be used as the dinner plates were too big for it,this didn’t really bother us as we don’t mind washing our dishes. .The property manager Yvonne was very pleasant.

We found it a bit noisy early in the morning but this was due to other guests not the position of the property.

Location was perfect. Kids could go for a scoot across the road and nearby park and cafes were great. Easy access to a range of restaurants and RSL which is great so we didn’t have to pack the kids in the car and drive.

Wish the pool was heated instead of solar heated - but still enjoyable for the kids but there were quite a few bugs which normally wouldn’t be an issue except my 5 yo girl couldn’t accept it. If there was a net available I would’ve been able to solve that issue myself no worries.

It was close to all the amenities. The property was well maintained and it was very clean. We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The cooking facilities were new and very clean. The swimming pool was very clean. There was ample parking and we received reserved parking according to the room number. We were amazed with overall cleanliness.

We had a week in a one bedroom apartment on the first floor. There was allocated undercover parking with 2.2m clearance which was great as we had surf skis on top of our car - which we used a number of times to paddle on the Pambula R and Merimbula Lake. There is a lift to all three floors which is great for carrying gear to the rooms. There is a small solar heated pool on Level 1 which was a very pleasant temperature. The views from living area faces south east over the Merimbula Lake with the oyster farms in the middle towards the Flypen and ocean beyond. A couple of brilliant sunrises were seen. The bathroom included a big spa bath - perhaps a bit redundant, a walk in shower and basin with washing machine underneath. The bed was comfortable, there was hanging space and some shelving for clothes. The kitchen was well equipped for self catering. There was a split air conditioner in the living area which we did not need to use. Merimbula was a fabulous holiday location for swimming and paddling, local oyster farms sell directly to the public and the close by shopping centre is very extensive for the size of the town. There are a number of lovely places to eat (including the high end Tidal at the front of the building) and many communities within an hour's drive to visit. Craig the manager was about a lot during the day and happy to give local advice.

Even in early autumn, clothes do not air dry well, so a dryer would be useful, as would a small dishwasher for hygiene reasons between guests. The two seater lounges seem to have sunken springs so an update could be considered. The entry door screen door lock did not work and a security screen door would be useful for ventilation.

Pros: -Wonderful view -Friendly Staff -Extremely good location! Close to everything! -Comfortable beds and furniture -Excellent water pressure

Cons: -Absolutely HORRIBLE WiFi and cell coverage probably due to the cinder block walls -Didn’t use the washer/dryer combo machine because it looked dirty -Shower didn’t drain quickly

Perfect location overlooking the bay, short walk to restaurants and shopping. Apartment has everything you need during your stay. Great set up, clean, comfortable beds, heated pool was excellent 👌. Managers were amazing, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend a stay for your next holiday.
