The unit I had was furnished and decorated very tastefully and it was comfortable to be in. It is only a few minutes walk away from the beach and inlet, which was terrific and they allow my dog to stay as well. Carol, that runs the place, is friendly and obliging. My dog ripped something and Carol responded to that with no-fuss problem solving. I enjoyed my time at Merimbula and that was complimented by staying somewhere that was really easy to get along with.

Clean and comfortable apartment, except bring your own hair shampoo. Quiet area with no busy traffic. Within easy walking distance to the beach. Merimbula main shopping area was only a short drive (or walk) across the bridge.

No noise restriction. Noisy neighbours sitting and drinking in the pool area till 11:00 at night is not acceptable. I know that this is not a usual occurence, but, owners did not react to noise. Suggest 10:00 p.m. curfew. Perhaps a sign in the area. Having a noise restriction at a rental property is not unusual.

Owners were very friendly and the unit had everything we needed so that it was easy to cook and do washing without any hassles. Unit looked recently renovated and was extremely clean. Provision of all the little things such as clothes pegs, washing baskets and a clothes airer made life much easier when travelling with little kids.

Hot water system wasted huge amounts of water to get hot water to shower and then would suddenly go cold mid way through the shower and take a long time to heat up again.

We have stayed multiple times in Merimbula, this is the first time in fishpen area. Well located compared to many other places. Getting in and out of place was easy. Nice flat walk to town, even closer walk to main beach. The apartment was clean. Hosts very friendly and helpful.

The hot water setup wastes a lot of water. Coming from somewhere that water is very precious like a lot of Australia, seeing that wasted water as we waited for the hot water to come through was hard to watch. Unfortunately the designated smoking area at back of property blew through any open doors throughout the rooms.

Most things were great. Apartment, clean well appointed, outside dining area great, solar heated pool, netflix, HD tv. Secure storage shed for our two pushbikes was great.

The hot water service is totally inefficient due to the time (3-5 minutes) to receive hot water and the wastage of running cold water before the hot 'kicks in' for hand washing and showering. Parking for units 6-9 inclusive down the main entry driveway is very tight (hard against timber fence) and a bit noisy with cars driving down past these units at night & early morning.

The unit was beautiful and clean and nice and bright, the location was perfect if you don’t want to be in hustle and bustle of Merimbula centre. The managers were lovely. Very happy with our accommodation over all and we will definitely stay there again

Nothing everything was great

Very comfortable, well set up apartment with everything needed for a relaxed holiday. Alan and Carol were so helpful to us, nothing was a problem. Loved the location which is within easy walking distance to town, the beach or boat ramp.

The site is located in the fish pen area of Merimbula and is an easy walk into town over the bridge. The motel units are all ground floor and very comfortable, facing out into a lovely courtyard. The Main Beach is a short 4 minutes walk away, with other beaches a 5 minute drive.

The location was brilliant Alan and Carol are lovely people and so accommodating The apartments are clean and fresh and well equipped They are really noise resistant we wouldn’t have even know if there were people in the apartment next door They had a storage area for our stand up paddle boards And we also loved the pool and bbq area We will be back

Loved staying at Kalindo. The room was very clean, and the kitchen has everything you need. We stayed for 9 days. The location is great. We could easily walk to the shops. It`s very close to the beach. There is a great fish and chips shop and a lovely cafe just down the street. Alan and Carol made us feel at home, they are great hosts !!
