The apartment was bigger than expected and had two bathrooms. The location was great close to a nearby espresso bar, which was perfect for a morning coffee. The view was beautiful. The kids loved the pool. The kitchen had plenty of crockery, utensils, etc. To use.

The air conditioning was great in the living area but struggled to make a difference in the bedrooms. We were there during spring, so it wasn't bad but on a hot summer day it would have been hot. A better fan in the second bedroom or another air-conditioning somewhere would have been good. The lounge suite was pretty old and worn.

Low back style lounge suites aren't particularly comfortable IMO, TV could do with updating, would be handy to be able to stream Netflix etc

Our stay at Merimbula Lakes Apartments was simply wonderful. Very spacious and comfortable apartment with nice furniture and beautiful appointments. The location is spectacular between the ocean beach and the lake, with views across the lake to the township. Communication with our hosts was excellent. Definitely a five star experience.

Super friendly and helpful managers. Rooms were immaculate in terms of cleanliness and being well equipped. Bedroom very comfortable. Bathroom was bright and well equipped (including washing machine and dryer). Excellent shower and quality towels. Comfortable lounger. Lovely views of waterfront from balcony. Only a 10 minute walk into town and restaurants.

The location is brilliant! We had a ground floor apartment with a beautiful view. Very comfortable bed, nice linen, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Easy parking. Very spacious. Comfy couches. I made a mistake with departure and the hostess could not have been more understanding. She is truly delightful, with nothing too much trouble. I would definitely come again!

The fridge was very loud in its cycle. The vanity tap was difficult to control...occasionally the water shot out with force wetting me. Minor things compared with the rest of the excellence!

The location was perfect to relax and look over the lake or walk to the ocean beach only minutes away. Or an easy walk into the town centre. The unit was clean, airy, with plenty of light. Will definitely come again.

Kim was great. Apartment was spacious, clean and very close to the lake with views. It was quiet and just a lovely place to stay. We felt immediately comfortable and very happy with our apartment. Thanks for a great weekend on the south coast, we’ll be back.

Easily confused with the building across the road when arriving in the dark. Same name, no number outside the one across the road (No 14), so we went to the wrong building in the dark. Luckily Kim the manager had warned us, but it was disconcerting!

Location was excellent...beautiful views over the water from the upper floor balcony. Very quiet and comfortable. Friendly and helpful reception staff...thank you, Ben.

A coffee machine would have raised my amenity score to the highest level...I love my morning coffee. I brought my own machine and pods so I didn't go without!

The location was easy to find and not in the main part of town. The view from the balcony was lovely. There was a coffee shack at the nearby beach and also a cafe a fish and chip shop within walking distance too. There were water based activities for hire.

The owners were incredibly friendly, the apartments didn’t lack anything for an extremely wonderful stay. Unbelievably clean, well equiped and only a very short walk to beaches, Resteraunt’s, shops and cafes. Everything was immaculate in the apartment, we will definitely return.

We loved everything, didn’t want to leave.
