The hotel room was clean, tidy and comfortable (firm bed, hot shower, filled minibar, underground parking availabie). I had a run that looked out onto the sea, which was a nice added feature. Fantastic breakfast and location, if you enjoy the tranquility of Kiel.

Great place to stay in Kiel. I was upgraded to have a view of the Sea, my room had a balcony so I could have my coffee watching the boats. Room was very comfortable, coffee machine, warm, bath. I also used the swimming pool which was great. I ate in the restaurant twice, both times were excellent. I love the original interiors, warm wood and brass. Easy walking distance and bus stop near hotel.

I only wish they hadn’t ‘updated’ the restaurant as it no longer has the same grandeur as the original interiors. Put some paint stripper on the painted wood and bring back the warmth of wood.

Great view over the Kiel Fjord from the breakfast / restaurant area. Room cleanliness. Wide choice of breakfast food. A lot of free parking spaces around the hotel. The in-house Backbord Bar is very relaxing and comfortable; its nice furniture reminds you of a vessel. The waiter was very kind.

For hygienic purpose, it would be better to have all the breakfast food more covered. We had a dinner in the in-house Bellevue restaurant and we have been asked quiet impolitely by the waiter to pay the bill while we were still eating the main course: in fact the kitchen was closing but the dining room was still open. On the contrary we want to highlight that his colleagues (2 ladies) were very kind.

The view was spectacular. We had a gorgeous view of the water even lying down in bed. Huge windows. We had a one bedroom suite which was super spacious and effectively had a second small bedroom for our son, with a rollaway bed and a curtain you could pull so it was completely separate from the other areas. There is even a kitchen and little dining area, which we didn't use but would on a future visit. The decor is very old. But the value for money, considering the view, is excellent.

The property has not been renovated since it was built in the 1970's. That is just something you have to know and not mind. There is some charm in the old lighting fixtures and sofa.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The service was exceptional - the staff was extremely helpful and attentive throughout my stay. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully served. I also appreciated the convenience of the parking lot located right next to the hotel. My room had a great view of the sea, was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a fantastic mattress. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it.

Our room was very nice and big, with an excellent view, and it was very clean. The restaurant was very nice, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was very good, and so was our dinner. It was very quiet. We will come back next time in Kiel.

You can have a see view that was very nice. Breakfast was excellent and includes variety of food, fruits. Staff were very kind. In the Bathroom there were shampoo, lotion even for my toddler. They put a cot for my child as well. There is one sleep room and one living room with 2 TVs. Very nice design and beautiful hotel. Pool was clean. They give you towel and slippers.

There was a little dust on the lampshade. But other parts of the room was clean.

I loved the spacious rooms. Our bedroom was big enough with an extra baby bed. I didn't expect this, I thought that it was a simple one room hotel with one bed. Surprisingly in the living room, there was an extra sleeping sofa apart from the normal one. Two toilets and even extra room for suitcases. We were extremely satisfied 😌 ❤️. I recommend 👌 the hotel 🏨.

The pool is 1.30 and therefore not for kids who can't swim. My son ( 3years).was excited to go swimming only to realise that he could not get into the pool. This does not make me not to come again. I shall always visit .

Great staff. Always there for you. Breakfast has a selection of dishes (they are pretty standard and nourishing). The hotel itself is located on top of the hill surrounded by beautiful park. The view from the restaurant is amazing. The whole place and park are very quiet.

Hallways need some renovation (at least at floor No 5). Balconies as well need some renovation (but overall my room was in great condition).
