Really the nicest resort on the island. It is at the end of the beach in the most beautiful part, and it is much more private, without the daytrippers filling up the beach. There is also a really nice stretch of coral reef right in front of the resort, about a 100 metre wade offshore with clownfish in anemones and parrot fish - really beautiful for snorkelling. The room was brand new, and all have beach views. It's an island where everything is more expensive, but it is worth it. Plus the included breakfast was excellent.

We we're here the beginning part of October... We liked everything about this resort, being that we we're the only ones here on our arrival and only a few other couples and a few families over our 5 day stay. I'm so glad we stayed at this particular resort, which is at the far right-hand side of the island as you look at it. The other resorts of which there were 2 didn't look as appealing to the immaculately well-kept Mali. Remember, you are on an island far from the mainland, so don't expect everything you would get on the mainland. We had breakfast, which was included and was absolutely fine, though a bit limited. Lunchtime and evening meal menu was fine too and wasn't expensive as previous reviews had stated.... What is inexpensive, and what is expensive?

The quietness... generally everything.! I think 5 days max here if you're thinking of just relaxing and doing not a lot is ideal. We had a wonderful time here... If you're susceptible to mosquito bites, then bring some spray as I think you will need it.

Location, the villa, sunbeds, restaurant, breakfast, drinks. Everything! The staff really sweet and helpful! Extra plus for not using plastic disposals! Fx glas straws and also fabric napkins! The complimentary glas water bottles in the villa! Maybe the other resorts/restaurants could take notes and learn from Mali! Very nice setting-lush and green! Beautiful.

A little caotic some mornings during breakfast. Especially at egg/pancake station. This could be improved by having waiters serving you the order when its ready. Some guests were also really rude, because of the language barrier, with the staff. I would like to recommend google translate and for some people to relax and enjoy your holiday with a smile!

We wanted a quiet luxurious treat before we headed home, We got exactly that the bungalow was spacious with a large soft bed with pillows that felt like clouds. Also the toiletries are first class the shampo made my hair feel like silk. Fresh bottles of waster given every day for bathroom (teeth)and drinking, beds made towels refreshed .The island was virtually deserted the sun was shining (out of season monsoon time) it was all perfect the staff looked after us made us feel really special. So if you want paradise then Mali Kradan on Koh Kradan is the place to go. We can’t wait to return. Take what you need with you as there isn’t a shop on the island although you can buy things from the bar such as beer wine crisps ice cream.

Calm resort without all the additional day tourists that occupied the beach further south. Nice reef to snorkle on right outside the resort. We tried the reefs further south but the Mali reef was preferred. Nice italian restaurant next door, if you crave a good pizza after too much Thai food. The breakfast was nice as well with plenty options. The Mali restaurant was also good.

The beds in some of the rooms were very hard (as is often the case in Thailand). We move room due to broken AC so our family tried three rooms. 1 out of 3 had a soft bed (the middle standard suite). The superior bungalow hard a very hard bed. Food is a bit pricy, but that was expected, and the luckily quality follows.

The beachfront location is perfect — you can walk straight from your room into the sea. The island’s quiet atmosphere, with few tourists and no cars or motorbikes, makes it feel truly peaceful and private, like staying in your own secluded retreat. It’s a wonderful place for anyone who wants to relax and spend time surrounded by nature.

Adjusting the hot water in the shower was a bit tricky, and there were quite a few mosquitoes. It would be nice if the restaurant offered a wider selection of dishes, though the variety of alcoholic drinks was excellent

The best located resort on Koh Kradan, right at the end of the main beach. Well maintained territory with beautiful gardens and modern comfortable villas with allocated sun beds. Our villa was very close to the sea, lots of shade from the trees, the views are magnificent, the colour of the water we only saw in Maldives. Whilst the rest of the beach was overcrowded with day trippers' boats every day between approx 10am till 4pm, Mali enjoyed peace and quiet. There is a good for snorkling reef in front of the resort, plenty of fish. Water sports equipment (sups, kayaks, snorkling equipment) available free of charge. Breakfast was good, everything you would expect from thai resort of good quality. Sandbar restaurant is well run with good selection of both thai and western dishes and decent variaty of drinks and wine,prices competitive to other resorts on the island. Great music in the bar, too. Special thank you to Jeremy who runs a good team and who made us feel very welcome, we had a great time and would love to visit the resort in the future.

Some variety of cold drinks at the breakfast would improve otherwise great breakfast.

The island is beautiful, and the beach is paradise. Free kayaks and stand-up paddles were available. At low tide, you can walk far out, but it gets very rocky. The facilities were comfortable and very clean.

The accommodation was a bit disappointing. It was clean, but despite the pictures and no prior notice, we were given a second-floor apartment instead of the first-floor one we had booked. Additionally, door frames fell off in two out of three rooms we booked, and one door wouldn’t open at all. However, we received a 50% discount on all food and drinks during our stay as compensation. Breakfast was basic, and the restaurant food didn’t match the location. The staff was very friendly but often forgot things.

Resort set on best part of beach furthest away from the pier, so lovely and quiet with lots sun beds free for the ultimate beach vaccation. Lots of fish to be seen when snorkeling off the beach with reef being full of beautiful tropical fish. Food was good and despite being the most expensive Resort was same price as the other resorts restaurants. General Manager Jeremy was a whirlwind of energy keeping standards high, but helping guests with their queries. Even arranged for bags to be transferred to Pier by the resorts RIB. 10 out 10. Can't wait to go back.

Bit of a bunfight at the breakfast buffet over the one bean to cup coffee machine, needs another to reduce queues for caffeine addicts

Unbeatable location on the beach at Koh Kradan with pristine turquoise sea and soft white sand. Loved that each room has its own sunbeds on the beach out front. Comfortable beds and sofa, and the long-tail boat trip to Koh Rok was great - incredible snorkelling, crystal clear sea, healthy diverse coral and loads of fish. Don’t miss it.

The details still require work - our deluxe Villa was pleasant but starting to look tired while still having builder’s marks on the shower glass. Breakfast was a bit chaotic - not enough staff so once the buffet trays emptied that was it: go early! Thai food was decent, western food pretty much vanished off the menu when the chef went to Bangkok for a couple of days! But these are just minor irritants that fade in the face of that location, which is what this place is really about.
