We liked everything checking in and out was a breeze. The staff was incredibly nice. The room was nice it had everything. I wish it came with more than 2 towels at a time, but other than that it was nice and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. We also enjoyed the fitness center though it didn't have much machines it did not disappoint it was fun being able to workout on the machines. We really enjoyed the pool as well it was one of the reasons we booked with this hotel it was clean and just so much fun being able to swim and enjoy ourselves. The breakfast buffet was another reason we booked it the food was absolutely delicious our favorite was the ham and biscuits and gravy everything was delicious and the lady who cooked everything was incredibly nice she even got us some ceramic wrap to wrap our plates to take back home not to mention the front desk staff they helped with anything we needed and was so incredibly nice i wish i knew their names because I would definitely give them recognition we will definitely be booking again.

It was a very nice hotel. It was clean, the room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It had a pretty decent breakfast.

Didn’t like the shower, it put out more of a fine mist. The sink didn’t drain very well. The biggest thing we couldn’t control the temperature in the room. It would shut on and off like it was on a timer. When it did come on it got cold but as soon as it cut off it got stuffy.

The complimentary breakfast was very good. Fresh and hot with an abundance of choices. Our room was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. I forgot my shower cap, but was given one at front desk. I especially liked the room key tap feature, it was also a tap feature for entering through side door near parking.

Wish we would have had a tub instead of shower, probably my fault for not requesting a tub.

Tour we signed up for to see the Ben and Erin area etc. No one showed up also the map did not have north, south, east ,or west so was very hard to follow and the one place I really wanted to see was the Scott wood shop and the attached store ..... construction in area had it blocked off so we could not get to it was VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH WHOLE MESS. ONLY REASON WE WENT WAS TO SEE THESE AREAS AND WE couldn't get to see them. That whole tour thing should be redone. Advertised better or something ... 🤔 so disappointed. We drove from Michigan to see it and only had one full day, to do stuff before we had to go to Florida for a wedding. Won't ever go again

Breakfast would good and plentiful with many choices. The receptionists were friendly and kind. Our room was comfortable and easy to relax in on a bad weather day. We especially appreciated the chaise lounge on that day!

Everything was great! However, the downtown area is not within walking distance. We were driving our own car so this was not an issue to us.

Good breakfast offerings. Friendly front desk staff. Loved the freshly-baked cookies. Comfortable beds. Good location to get back on interstate.

Had a handicapped room, and had to visit the front desk to understand how to lower and raise the blinds (button on wall). Ran out of cookies too fast.

Room was clean and excellent layout. Staff was professional and friendly. Parking was close and easy access. The grounds were well kelp and clean. Exterior trash can were handy and emptied often.

Would love to see handicap rooms available on first floor. Also would be nice to have a flat roll in shower for handicap. Would be nice to have larger trash cans in rooms.

The morning staff was very friendly and made a great start to my day. The night staff not so much. The pillows were perfect and bed comfy. I could hear the people above me until around midnight. There was only one towel and no water pressure.

Water pressure is too low and only one towel for showering.

The price was a bit steep. I paid nearly $220 for one night during the week. I could understand if I was there during the weekend. Also, you could not adjust the volume on the TV and the front desk staff acted as if it was a bother when I asked for additional towels.

The breakfast was great and the rooms were clean and beds very comfortable!! The desk clerks Tammy and Amanda were very helpful with directions to the places we wanted to go to tour. Very nice ladies and made our stay more enjoyable!! The Holiday Inn Express is very fortunate to have such nice desk employees as these two ladies, they were the best!! I will definitely go back there if I am ever again in the area!!
