It was lovely to have a kitchen and lounge area we could use and next door to a hotel for excellent meals and a deli with beautiful snacks and meals

It would have been Loverly to have it an extra bench next to the fridge to put your cases on instead of on the floor but all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at black diamond lodge and would gladly stay there again and I believe some rooms had a bath robe to use which would have been helpful for us as my husband is disabled but all in all the other guests gave me info on him when he went to have a shower which was wonderful

Fantastic kitchen facilities and plenty of lovely places to relax. A quality coffee machine (free to use) and every type of tea you would want. Extensive spice and condiments rack. Rooms have exceptional quality electric blinds and heavy curtains, so you can make them completely dark. This is great if you want to sleep in or, if you're like me, you find it hard to get good sleep with any light in the room. Highly recommended.

Lovely quirky old cottage (approx 120years old) with great facilities including free coffee machine, nice comfortable lounge area and fully stocked communal kitchen. Covered outdoor areas surrounded by potplants with flowers and creepers creating a great place to sit.laundry and communal toilet and showers are exceptionally clean with pump soap/shampoo/conditioner. Beds were comfortable and parking in rear of complex. The rooms were basic but each had own split Aircon and wall mounted TV. Free WiFi Was bonus. I was pleasantly surprised by this quaint lodging.

Awesome kitchen and dining area, large range of cooking utensils and appliances. Good location and very clean area. Check in and out very easy and seamless when after hours

The showers had curtains which were okay but a door would’ve been better. The floor in one area is really loud and creaky which can wake you up if your a light sleeper.

Freshly painted. Fresh towels. Clean Communal Kitchen with complimentary everything you could want & more. Milk. Juice. Butter. Jams. Teas. and so on. Lovely outdoor area, easy to walk to everything. Showers hot & strong with again shampoo, body wash & conditioner. Highly recommend. This building is gorgeous ... 1899 communal living Australia .....walls are thin but I loved you have ear plugs provided.

friendly staff clean accommodation and facilities great location. excellent set up in shared kitchen and lounge with brilliant coffee machine, juice milk etc in fridge. great assortment of teas and spreads. wonderful out door seating arrangements both inside and out and apart from a full stove inside there was a gas BBQ outside the door. parking at rear and a cafe as well as a pub on the street out front.

There was no breakfast option with our booking, but there was a fancy make all sorts of coffee and hot chocolate machine in the kitchen, butter, jams, milk, great variety of tea bags and juice for everyone to use, nice common room with computer and tv to use for free, nice shampoo for free and all very clean. Outside was a fire place with nice seating arrangements and dry cushions to use. Access to the property by code rather than key, which made it easy to come back independent of each other. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff.

There was no wardrobe in the room, and not enough space to hang wet towels and clothes (it was raining everyday we were there). You could not lock the shower cubicle in our shared bathroom, but only the whole bathroom, however there were other toilets accessible in the complex.

This is such a charming hostel with it’s gardens and funky co-working space. It has been re-vamped with loving care and eye for detail. Really loved my time hanging in the co-working space and cooking in the kitchen.

My room was small but very comfortable. The toilet and bathroom are shared but nearly always available, very clean and there was really nice smelling soap, shampoo and conditioner available.

Good facilities for self catering & nice touch with free hot &cold beverages.

The rooms are a bit tight for space for more than a 2 night stay, but I wouldn't forgo the queen bed for more floor space Be good if bags fitted under the bed out of the way. I'll bring a few extra hangers as the rail is fine. No Netflix on TV. Few people watch TV channels these days.

Clean, excellent customer service. The mattress and pillows were wonderful. Had a great sleep. I'm very particular about my pillow, that I usually take mine from home with me. I forgot on this trip, but I wasn't disappointed with the pillows 😃 The waster pressure in the bathroom was good and hot. Everything was thought about. Great share kitchen and outdoor space.

Would have loved a bigger bed.
