Our stay at the hotel was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The interiors were stunning, blending elegance with cozy alpine charm in every detail. The room and the balcony were spacious and beautifully appointed, offering a perfect place to relax. Mornings were magical, with the soothing sounds of birds and distant cowbells drifting through the open windows. The breakfast was unbelievably good for Swiss standard, easily the best we had during our entire trip through Switzerland. Also, the stunningl view from the balcony! The hotel is perfectly located in beautiful St. Niklaus, for exploring Zermatt and the charming towns nearby - highly recommended.

Everything worked flawlessly and we had no issues at all - though a small note on how to open the room door from the inside would be helpful, as it can be a bit tricky at first! 😉

Beautiful location,very cool hotel,room was very warm ambiental and also the temperature in the room. I minimise the heat and open the windows and everything was good. The floor in the bathroom is heated which was nice. Amenities included were very good quality. Breakfast was exceptional.Staff was very nice and pleasant. Overall a great stay and I recommend the hotel for an excellent experience.

The furniture is modern and a little space on top of the bed keeps place of the side tables near the head of the bed. Not the best option. 2 little tables ,small chairs or any kind of furniture with a flat table top at the level of the bed will help to keep things handy for the night.

We booked 3 double rooms for our group of 6 people and stayed from 28th December to 30th December 2024. We arrived late in the evening and reception was helpful. They checked us in quickly without any dramas. The room I stayed in was on the first floor and at the end of the long corridor. It was clean, spacious and had a coffee machine which was handy. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom came equipped with toiletries. The breakfast was fresh with a great variety and they offered to pack some croissants and bread rolls and provided coffees on the day we had to check out early as we had connecting trains to catch. Location was good - about 12 minutes to the train station without the luggage.

The hotel and restaurant is newly renovated (one floor is still in renovation). Spacious rooms brand new, very warm. Good WiFi. Coffee machine is in the room. Comfortable bed. Dinner in restaurant was very good for Switzerland, prices are not low, but it is everywhere in Switzerland so. Friendly personnel. Very good breakfast, high quality food. Price performance for room and breakfast is great. Ideal for business trip.

Self check-in did not work and in general process is not easy. Several mails came in advance, I put my data online, then in the hotel I could not check in as program on tablet had a glitch. Waiter from restaurant gave me a key. By check out I did not get an invoice as there was only waiter again. I asked to send me invoice and left my email, but to get it I had to call again. Not a big problem, but if I would arrive late, it could be a problem to get into the room.

The shower room! Top notch heated floors, walk in shower, felt opulent. Giant room, giant bed, giant balcony, coffee machine a bonus. This was a wonderful place to stay. Mixed salad and mushroom risotto were delicious but sadly I was too tired to eat it all. Breakfast was brilliant too, thank you, lots of choices.

Self check in was new to us. Easy enough to work out. We stayed in room number ten (10) the door key jammed in the door. You have to really pull on the door to get it to turn. ( Maybe the door has warped- but if my partner hadn't been very strong, I wouldn't have been to turn the key) Sink tap was wobbly, probably too many people trying to fill the water jug provided to fill the coffee machine with. ( Just a smaller water bottle would help with this). Coffee machine had to be moved along with the TV screen to fill the water holder at the back).. maybe change the coffee machine position to the other side of the TV. Not complaints, just observations. I loved loved this place.

Perfect cosy location. Short walk to St niklas station.....so convenient for train travel as well. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were very nice and cosy...the breakfast had all options one needed....excellent coffee....the coffee machine in the room also very good quality. Will highly recommend this hotel for the excellent location, good parking as well as proximity to station. Excellent restaurant along with the hotel and lovely staff..

Nothing to complain about

The room was newly renovated, lovley decor and deisgn from power outlets to a smart TV. The bathroom was great, and the bed was comfortable. Brrakfast included was good but not a huge selection, however enough. There is a communal area with a microwave and kettle, which is very helpful.

When we arrived, there was no one at reception & we had to check in via a tablet, but it wouldn't allow us to check in due to an error on the hotel's end (after we made the payment via the tablet). There was a message which said to ring a number, but we didn't have a sim to make calls in Switzerland (whatsapp only). Thankfully, another guest came & let us use his phone. This could have been an issue if we didn't see the guest.

Restaurant is wonderful, the breakfast was first rate.

Don't love the ipad checkin stuff that's everywhere in Switzerland and have no idea where to find the rez number since we got tons of emails prior to checkin. That said, we were able to check in without the reservation number and that was nice.

I had a very comfortable stay in Hotel La Reserve. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was slightly out of town, but close enough for an easy walk in. Check-in was fairly straight-forward however was done via an iPad rather than face to face with a member of staff.

Rooms are very clean and spacious. Facilities are great. Breakfast is alright. The part we didn’t like was there are no elevators so had to carry the bags all the way up. And it’s around 15 minutes walk from the train station (St. Niklaus station) so be prepared to walk. To go to Zermatt, you need to take a train which takes 50 minutes. And there is a trains every 30 minutes.

Distance from train station is a lot with the luggage. And there are no elevators. Also, front desk is empty and they don’t respond to the number given in front desk
