Wow, what an Amazing experience. This hotel is under renovations. So, guests are automatically booked to a new hotel (Porta Cervino hotel ) in Tasch. The hotel is that new, that wood smell is so great!- the room size was big and not to mention the shower.. bed was great! all you deserve.. As I arrived I was given a glass of wine and the staff was super helpful and welcoming - Thanks Ale for your guidance and help! The hotel is around the corner of the train station, just a few minutes away and this was key to get to Zermatt. The train is available every 20 minutes until late at night and the ride takes 20 min as well. there is a huge parking lot by the train station for those also going to Zermatt as cars are not allowed. The hotel also has a parking lot. This hotel has it all.. perfect location, Supermarket near by, some restaurants within walking distance and a great atmosphere. Elevators are new and convenient if you travel with luggage. I did not pay for breakfast as I love to take breakfast in Zermatt town. However you have the option at the hotel or at the train station. You will not be dissapointed!

Good value for money! Close to train station to go to Zermatt (1-2 min), and it was not that noisy as we expected! Very comfortable stay overall. We took HB: breakfast was good, dinner was fine as well with some choice and different menu everyday. Reasonable price for food! Comfortable parking lot and nice small sauna which is just great after the hiking. And it seems that almost all rooms have a balcony with nice view! what a great surprise!

We had the simpliest room, and it was very small...literally, we didn't have enough space to put all our luggage. Same for the bathroom with WC - it was really tiny! However, when you are back after long hike it does not really matter how big is your room 😀

Got breakfast included during our stay and it was the usual European breakfast (bread, cereals, and yogurt etc). It was okay for its price. The room was not too small and not too big, just right for 2-3 people. What I loved about the room is the breathtaking view of the alps!! And the hotel is just a few steps away from the Tasch train station which is just one stop away from Zermatt so it's VERY VERY convenient!

There was one staff who seemed judgmental and looked badly at me and my mom while we were getting breakfast. I don't know what was her deal but we just ignored her.

Best value for money! The hotel is right across the street from Täsch's train station, which is only a 12 min ride from Zermatt. The breakfast was the cheapest we found in all hotels we stayed in Switzerland (15 francs), and delicious! The room was a bit small, but the bed was excellent and the shower was perfect! We were very pleased and would definitely stay here again! Very clean. Supermarket next door as well. Thank you, hotel staff!

Room could be more spacious. Heater too hot, hard to regulate.

This hotel is excellent. The location is perfect with great parking and the train station is just across the road. We had a mountain view and balcony and woke up to the sun shining on the snowy mountain tops. The hotel is perfectly located for Zermatt and the Matterhorn. We booked breakfast and evening meal and we were not disappointed - the food was excellent - highly recommend the Matterhorn soup and the Hot Stone Fillet steak. We originally booked for two nights but when we arrived, we asked if we could stay an additional night and the hotel was very accommodating and helpful. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Tourist information is directly opposite and extremely helpful (Elanor) and gave very good advice about our trip to the Matterhorn.

Rooms are basic but modern and clean. Building construction is high quality as expected from Switzerland so you won’t be cold or hear much noise from the street. Good views of the mountains on all 4 fronts. Excellent location just across the street from the train station. All staff very friendly. Grocery store next door for cheap snack or stocking up on Swiss chocolates.

The room got too hot and stuffy at night even with heating turned off (was -10c outside). The main road and train station spoil the view a bit. Heard a lot of noise in the hallways in the late afternoons but I think this was my neighbours booking multiple rooms and then keeping the doors open and walking and talking around like they owned the place…

The room was very spacious, clean and modern. We had a little balcony that gave us views towards the Zermatt. The location is perfect and I'd recommend to anyone who has hired a car. You can't any further than Tasch as they have a car ban in Zermatt so we decided to stay here where we could park our car at the hotel. The train station is directly opposite which takes you to Zermatt and runs very frequently and late at night and early in the morning. We didn't have the breakfast but the restaurant looked nice.

The staff were barely around which wasn't helpful for our check in and check out. When we arrived I had to go and find someone in the restaurant who then sent someone over. They then gave us a pass to put in our car window for the parking. What was really unhelpful was that we weren't told about the token we needed to exit the car park, so when we tried to leave I had to run back inside where fortunately someone was on reception to help (unlike before!)

The room was amazing, with a balcony with nice views of the nearby area and mountains. We had snowfall in the night which was magical! The bathtub was so relaxing and overall the room was very comfortable!We had a seamless check-in. The location is right next to the Tasch train station- 1min walk. I would recommend anyone to stay here then look for adjustments in Zermatt. There is a shuttle train with which which you can reach Zermatt in 15mins! So there is no hassle at all, we went to Zermatt multiple times in a day. There is a coop store next to the hotel which is quite nice.

I loved the views from the hotel rooms and the comfortable beds. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were big enough for our stay! Lots of counter space in the bathrooms which is a major plus. The staff are so accommodating and kind, they heated up food and helped us refill water bottles when we asked!

Nitpick really as I slept easily but a choice of firmer pillows would be great!
