The pool is fantastic. We loved the temperature of the pool and the individual 360 degree rotating jets. There are 3 saunas and showers and towels. The breakfast buffet has everything you could want and the staff in the dining room are lovely. We had a lovely view of the Matterhorn and every evening we sat out on our balcony enjoying it. The kitchen area has everything you need should you wish to make your own meals. I asked for a fan and it was waiting in the room for us upon arrival. Use of the washing machine and dryer is free too. The lift is super fast and the hotel is quiet. I slept well. So glad to have stayed at Arca.

It would be great to have a top sheet especially on warm nights. But I just took the quilt out of its cover and used the cover as a top sheet. But really it’s such a great hotel!

Our overall stay at Hotel Arca was amazing. The staff was very accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect as it was really close to the train station. We had a very spacious apartment. Views from the balconies were amazing! We also really loved the heated swimming pool available for guests.

In short walking distance to the train station, to the ski rental area, and to the funicular to get up on the slopes quickly. Very close to a supermarket for last minute shopping. Spacious room separated from the child room, with kitchen, with a nice terrace facing Matterhorn, swimming pool and SPA shared with its sister hotel, good breakfast, and nice staff at the restaurant.

Pricey, it could have been a little cheaper, as it is in fact a 3 star hotel.

Very close to the station which makes it easy to get to and find. Fantastic pool, lovely and warm, perfect to relax after a day on the mountain. Breakfast was superb, had everything you could want. Staff were super friendly.

Zermatt is quite built up so although there is a mountain view from the balcony, it's somewhat obscured by other hotels. Also the family rooms dont face the Matterhorn. The kitchen was very old and needs upgrading. We were planning to cook in the room but decided against it!

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We needed our clothes washed after backpacking in Italy, and needed a place to store some luggage while we did a hut backpack trip in Zermatt. They offered free self laundry services. We opted to have them wash our clothes so we could explore Zermatt and the cost was reasonable. There was no charge for storing our luggage while we were in the mountains. The room and balcony were excellent and the bed was comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is within walking distance to main train station. Free use of spa (warm jacuzzi pool, sauna and steam bath) as well as washer/dryer were the highlights of our stay. We booked two rooms (1) two bedroom apartment with Matterhorn view comes with two toilets with bathtubs which is a big plus (2) Studio North room for our family of 2 Ad + 3 teens. Both hotel rooms come with big balcony with good views and they were clean and come with fully equipped kitchenette.

Excellent. Highly recommend to anyone who loves the mountains. Highest quality standards in everything. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The staff speaks several languages. The view from our balcony to the north was enchanting. Mountains, goats, helicopters, paragliders, and sunrises. Quiet. No noise. Nothing disturbed our sleep. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant cheese list. Indeed, not every five-star hotel will have such quality breakfasts. Amazing heated pool, various saunas, hydromassage. Spacious, comfortable room. Cleaning every day. It is really useful to have a full mini kitchen where you can have a snack in the evening before going to bed. Central location. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, supermarket and other transport links to visit all the beauties of the resort. We were enchanted. Thank you to all the staff of Arca Solebad and Spa. This is the best place in Zermatt.

Our room for three people on the top floor with a Matterhorn view was amazing. The indoor pool was beautiful and relaxing after a strenuous day of spectacular hiking and scenery.

The breakfast was my least favorite of all hotels we stayed in throughout Switzerland, and the cappuccino was very disappointing. But this was resolved by walking up the street to Le Petit Royal for excellent cappuccino, and the pastries at Fuch's Bakery were delicious.

Location. The big room & big balcony with view of the Matterhorn. Enjoy sitting at the balcony & looking out at the majestic Matterhorn. From the balcony, you can watch the paragliders as they landed on the hill opposite the hotel. You can also see & hear the sheep’s from the balcony in the morning as they grazing on the grass on the hill. We love the newly renovated heated pool. We did full body massage in the pool as it has pressure jet spray to loosen our tight muscle after our hiking trips. Hotel also has 3 different type of sauna rooms. We love the Turkish bath room the most. It has beautiful aromatic therapeutic fragrance & helps us to relax after a long day. The room has a tiny kitchen with a stove. We can cook simple meals.

Very few cooking equipments in the kitchen

The hotel is great value for money. The triple room was huge. It had 2 bathrooms, and a huge balcony. Zermatt is a small town with only limited electric vehicles allowed, but this location is pretty neat. Its 6 mins of a walk from the main railway station, and rest of the town is very walkable from here. The Gornegrat Railway station is right by there.

The breakfast is okay, but limited hot food options for "Asian Vegetarians". Need to add more hot Vegetarian options that dont include eggs (such as hash browns/ roasted potatoes (Rosti)). The hotel went a little too all out on "Dont take items out of the Buffet". They had it written on the keycard covers, in the room brochure and one each and every table. I dont know if its such a big deal, and I do understand the hotels stance on this, but it is quite an overkill to write it around at so many places. It sends a bad message about the hotel.
