Very good service and beautiful view!!! Can see Matterhorn directly from the window!!!They also have a free shuttle service between the station and hotel.

It’s a well ran hotel with nice facilities. Impressive spa and swimming pool. Breakfast is very nice, coffee is good, so as dinners. Service and staffs are impeccable, WhatsApp communication has been sooth and efficient. Room is big with a massive balcony. Location wise, Matterhorn is at our window straight away. Fantastic view! For skiers, it sits just above sunnega station with some stairs leading down to the train uphill. Overall Zermatt is not friendly enough to skiers as you need to walk / climb a lot carrying skis in ski boots. The hotel has made the best out from what the city offers.

The bathroom is too small

Out stay in this hotel was outstanding! We had high expectations because of the price, but they were even exceeded. The staff was amazing - always polite and accommodating. The room itself was very clean with all amenities that you might need during your stay. It is very quiet around the hotel, although ita location is really close to the main street and the train station. The breakfast was good and there was a good variety of food for every taste.

There is no such thing, we highly recommend thos hotel and would return if we are visiting Zermatt again.

Our 6-night stay at Christiania Mountain and Spa Resort exceeded all expectations. The hotel's location is ideal - just 100m from the funicular, making ski access incredibly convenient. The room was immaculately clean and offered stunning views of the Matterhorn. The attention to cleanliness throughout the property was impressive, with spotless common areas and facilities. The dining experience was a highlight. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, featuring high-quality, tasty offerings. The bar area with its fireplace provided a cozy atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The wellness facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. We particularly enjoyed the spa, swimming pool, gym, and sauna - all of which were in pristine condition. What truly sets this property apart is the impeccable service. The staff's hospitality and personable approach made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Perfect for both winter sports enthusiasts and those seeking a luxurious mountain retreat. Would highly recommend for the stunning views, excellent facilities and outstanding service.

The view of the Matterhorn every day from the bedroom was breathtaking. The spa and pool area were absolutely amazing. It was so great to come back from skiing and take a spa, jump in the pool, lie on the heated beds, and saunas. It was an easy walk to the Sunnega lift. The town was also an easy walk. All the staff were exceptional, very polite, and really took the time to get what you needed.

I don't write hotel reviews very often, but I can't help but praise the friendliness I encountered at this hotel. The entire staff at the hotel was kind, friendly, smiling and willing to help with anything we needed. The next time I visit Zermatt, I have a clear idea where I will return. Dinner on the terrace was sensational! Not only were the surroundings amazing, but the wait staff was attentive, friendly (shout out to Christian!), and knowledgeable. We also payed for a mountain view room, and it was worth every penny to sit on the balcony in the mornings and evenings!

The only negative was that the bed was super firm and the pillows were too soft. However, that was the case in every hotel during our trip, so may just be a Swiss thing? The hotel was kind enough to bring us firm/thicker pillows when requested!

Everything better than expected. Zermatt was too warm though..much more than expectation. Maybe table fans can be made available to guests. Very hospitable and responsive people at reception specially. Maybe One veggie hot dish for breakfast shd be there.

Nothing hot in vegetarian breakfast. Other choices were there.cheese jam cornflakes. Only a French fries or potato wedges ,.baked beanks or something like that would have been very welcome for veggies. Non veg had many options .

The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful, professional and kind. Breakfast was delicious and the fact that they had a dedicated gluten free area and toaster was very appreciated. The rooms were very cozy and clean and I had a magnificent view of the Matterhorn. The pool and spa were nice - a bit crowded at times but comfortable. I had a great massage as well at the spa. I also liked that there was a pool room etc for families and even if you were alone. The location was very easy to get around from and the hotel shuttle from the station was fantastic as I was running a little late after checkout and it was perfect! I would definitely stay again!!
