I stayed for two nights and overall had a very positive experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, taking their time during check-in to show me around and make me feel at home. The interior design of the hotel is beautiful, with a clear attention to detail that really stands out. One of the highlights was the breakfast experience—not only was the food excellent, but the breakfast room offers a stunning view of the Matterhorn, which made each morning memorable.

I did encounter a few maintenance issues in my room. There was a noticeable sewage smell initially, which the staff promptly resolved, and the sink wasn’t draining properly. While these issues were addressed, they shouldn’t occur at this price point, especially in a hotel of this standard. Also worth noting: during my stay, the hotel had quite a few families with small children, which made it a bit livelier. If you’re specifically seeking a peaceful, quiet retreat, this might not always be the ideal setting.

Fantastic 5-star resort in Zermatt - amazing experience overall. Upon arriving at Zermatt train station, we were taken to the property by their free EV service. The driver was friendly and gave us suggestions about what to do in the area. There is also a lift next door that takes us down to the ground level of Zermatt town - very convenient. Various welcome drinks were offered at check-in before we were shown our amazing rooms. Breathtaking view of the Matterhorn from the balcony - we could just lounge there all day if we did not have the plan to go up to Gonergrat. Every little thing in the room was carefully thought of and presented. And everywhere around the resort was so fragrant! There are spa and other facilities that we did not have enough time to try. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of selections; the main dishes were a bit small, but that meant we could try many things.

A bit of a maze to navigate our ways around once we were inside the buildings. Some switches (the dimming knobs) in the room were not working. No bathroom doors; this has been the trend for many years for high-end resorts - totally not a fan of this design.

Really quirky property in a lovely location. The room was really unusual. Once navigated (!) the hotel is beautifully appointed. The staff are exceptional. Lovely spa area. Easy access to the town. We found the communication with what’s app really efficient and the complementary transfer from the station was appreciated.

There was no outdoor “swimming pool” as such. It’s a lovely hot very small pool but not suitable to swim in. Definitely need to book restaurants in the town in advance. A shelf in the shower would be useful. The glass soap bottles on the floor felt dodgy! It was pricey but to be expected in the location.

This is one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at. The location is stunning, with all rooms, the spa and the restaurants having a perfect view over Zermatt and of the iconic Matterhorn mountain. The room decor was amazing and the room had so many lovely touches such as coffee machines, fridges, Marshall speaker system which added a special touch. The staff were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful for all queries. We loved relaxing at the spa with the amazing infinity hot tub with Matterhorn views. We were not skiing but we loved how the piste literally ends at the hotel. This trip has made us want to come back again and again

Gorgeous Resort and spacious for a family of 4 with young children. The beds were well thought out. Amazing breakfast and quite superior from European standards. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Spa was great with heated pool overlooking the Matterhorn. They’ve got some great restaurants. Location was great to go directly Sunnega via the lift.

Nothing much not to like but suggestion to have halal options for at least chicken.

Absolutely everything at this property has made our stay magical. Starting from the friendly welcome from the lovely staff, the surprise room upgrade to Matterhorn view room and the resort facilities. Not to mention the amazing breakfast and fantastic staff!! We can tell a lot of love and attention to details have been invested into this property. The room is equipped with great quality amenities, bathrobe, slippers and little things like a backpack and tote bag for us to borrow during our stay. The hot spa area is with the view of the majestic Matterhorn is an absolutely highlight. The free drinks, tea, fruit and nuts at the spa area is a lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave!

Spa is amazing! One of the best I've been to. Cold natural swimming pond and the outdoor hot bath was super hot, which you wnat as you transition from cold. Coffee was also exceptional

Room was small and bed more like a camp bed style, we did pay for the basic room, but for a 4* I would still expect a more premium bed. The restaurants were all closed except for one, it was early season, but it would have been nice to have prior warning so we could decide whether the investment would be worth it

Our stay at Cervo was just really really good. The facilities are superb with nice views over Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Cervo blends nicely into the surroundings with many smaller buildings, playful decoration and lots to explore in/around the hotel. There's many small details and decoration. The staff was super friendly, attentive but never intrusive. Cervo offers one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel. They have a very rich buffet but on top they offer dishes you don't usually get like Shakshuka and Momos.

Loved everything about it. Perfect location, spacious ski room, gorgeous breakfast, friendly staff, exceptional service, breathtaking views, comfy beds, great spa, superb resturants, the best aprés ski, detailed design, athmosphere, smell. Champagne bar on the ski in (route no 2) is a great add on. Can't wait to visit again. Probably the best ski hotel in Zermatt.

Everything. Staff go above and beyond. Nothing is too hard. The food is amazing, facilities out of this world and the whole place is so relaxing. Views brilliant, end of ski run with apres drinks. Views of Matterhorn. And you can do yoga, mediation, treatments, massages. This is my second time here. Once in summer. Now in winter. Will definitely go back
