We had a wonderful stay at La Ginabelle Hotel and couldn’t be more satisfied! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — warm, welcoming, and highly professional. To our surprise and delight, we were upgraded to a beautiful room, which made our stay even more special. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and had stunning views. Every member of the staff we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. It’s rare to experience this level of hospitality across the board. I highly recommend La Ginabelle to anyone visiting the area — it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be back!

Me and my daughter had the mlst amazing holiday and stay in your hotel. We enjoyed facilities, the pool, the soa and the mlst of all kids club. The staff was always hospitable, cheerful, happy, friendly with kids and helpful. We loved the view from lur room and the location which is very close to the ski lift that takes to the ski school at the Sunnegga and near to the train station. While my daughter had a blast in the kids club, I could enjoy live piano tunes and a drink at the bar. Fantastic memories. We wilk for sure be back.

Hotel is located in the heart of Zermatt. Our room was very spacious and conformable with great view to Matterhorn. Very lovely and friendly staff that assisted us in our stay. Spotless clean room service. Excellent choices for breakfast with omelettes chef. Shuttle drive from/to the train station on our snowy arrival was very appreciated.

Some renovations where still ongoing in the hotel entrance. Outside pool often felt small and a bit overcrowded during afternoon hours. We tried main restaurant for dinner once but the options where not much to into our liking on the specific day.

Breakfast was excellent, there was an extensive variety of foods for different diets. They made us fresh eggs the way we wanted every morning at their live egg station. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly and accommodating. I requested a room change and they changed it the next day. The kids club was the best part!! It's included in your stay! My husband and I got to spend some quality time together knowing our kids were safe at the kids club.

Everything was great! I couldn't flaw this hotel!

spa facilities with the outside heated pools and jacuzzi is amazing; cleaning was very good and staff was polite ; breakfast also good; I had a balcony , but the view was on the back side.

I've got the single room with a view on the street 1st floor ; the room was crowded with all kind of furniture: for a small room you dont need to have a big table, a desk, an arm-chair plus the wardrobe . Mattress and pillow a bit uncomfortable for my back, but I survived 4 days ; The hotel pretend to be a 4 stars hotel ( and maybe they are for other type of rooms) , but for the room I've paid ( single room with balcony) I've got the worst bathroom ever : small, very dark inside with no facilities - that cant be called 4* bathroom ; you cant properly shave bcz you cant see anything . I can't even imagine how a lady can makeup in that dark bathroom :-)

The spa is amazing, it was the best thing about my stay. I did really enjoy it and would definitely recommend it. Staff were so nice and the hotel is very well located.

Property is well located, close to town very clean and modern rooms. Great sized balcony and the bed was really comfortable! Breakfast was great selection wise and the Melted restaurant was delicious!! The spa and amenities were incredible, so much space and choice in the spa. The staff we spoke to were also really great. Everyone was very helpful and wanted to make sure everyone’s stay was perfect.

The rooms were a little too warm for our liking. Even with the heating off and window open it was still very warm- this may just be personal preference though as we do prefer it a bit cooler. We only ate at the hotel restaurant once but it felt a little frantic. Staff were lovely but our drinks order got a bit confused between different people. Not a big issue but it definitely felt like they were a bit tight staffing wise.

Rooms were clean and well furnished. There was a hiccup with one of the toilets in our family room which we brought up to the hotel staff. The service recovery was good and the overall service in all parts of the hotel from breakfast to reception and porter and bar etc were very friendly and attentive. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was of a good standard and a good spread. The spa area with the outdoor heated pool was really nice and relaxing and well maintained

The hiccup in the room toilet could have been anticipated prior to our check in but as mentioned above after we highlighted the issue there was a responsive good service recovery

La Ginabelle is (was??) a very beautiful new property/spa right next to the river (more on that later). High end fitments and fixtures throughout. The food is excellent, as are all of the staff (again, later). Very close to the railroad station, and easy walking distance to everything (Zermatt is a very small village). The owner of this family business asks every guest if everything is going well, and is very hands on. BUT we were in Zermatt for one night only (6/20/24), and that was the night the rains came...and came...and then melted the snow on the peaks. Zermatt suffered a terrible flood, there has been great damage to the village and many beautiful properties that were close to the river. In the morning the river had swollen to overflowing and most of the bridges had already been closed. The staff worked very hard to get all of the guests to the rail station before all trains and roads were closed. i think we were on the last train out, literally. The owners and staff were very concerned for the safety of the guests, and did an amazing job of getting everyone out. When La Ginabelle reopens, PLEASE stay there. The property is beautiful, and the staff really are wonderful.

Nothing the management had any control over! The prices were Swiss-normal (what we think of as high to very-high for everything including the water), but we are a budget-minded family so that was on us.

Although we could not check in early, we were able to leave our luggage at the desk to explore the city. Once we were able to check in officially our bags were placed in our rooms. We were also given an upgraded room from booking which was such a lovely surprise. The hotel was close to the train station, but the hotel does offer a small taxi to come pick you and can drop you off. We enjoyed the selection at breakfast. There was a juicing station and a chef to prepare eggs for you. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed having storage for our bags so they didn't always have to be on the ground. We also appreciated that the TVs home screen had an option that displayed local weather and webcams to destinations. It helped with our plans!

The room can feel slightly stuffy. I do feel this is an unfair judgement since I am an American and use to AC. I will say opening the door for circulation did help.
