The attention from the staff was amazing. They gave us a lot of tips, were helpful and nice. They even spoke Spanish which was very convenient to our family. The hotel was great and beautiful both inside and the views outside. The rooms were super clean, wirh enough space for 4 people, free coffee, minibar and a fridge. They stored our luggage and took it to the room when it became available while we were exploring Zermatt. Beautiful location and super close to the train station. They even have a shuttle service which was very helpful for all our heavy luggage and older people. Breakfast was included and it was overall good like a continental breakfast

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Even though the train station was just a 3-minute walk away, they still offered shuttle service at checkout, which was a thoughtful touch. The service truly exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious and comfortable for three people, with separate TVs in the living room and bedroom, allowing us to stream our own devices without interference. The hotel also provided slippers and bathrobes, making it super convenient to visit the pool and sauna. Speaking of which, the pool was spotless, even bigger, and more modern than it looked in the photos! Breakfast was included - not a huge variety, but more than enough for us, and everything was delicious. The staff were attentive, even offering to bring coffee to our table. We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant on the first night, trying multiple dishes - all of them were amazing! Another great surprise was the ski rental service. The staff there were incredibly friendly, even recommending a rental shop in town where hotel guests get a 10% discount - such a nice bonus!

Hotel is very near the train station and just a few minutes' walk. They also provide transfers to the train station and we were able to avail of that on the day we checked-out. The room that we got is big enough for the two of us and is facing the Matterhorn. The breakfast is all right (lots of bacon) and they serve coffee to order. I have very good memories in Zermatt and one reason is booking the right hotel! Thank you Hotel Ambassador for the lovely stay!

The staffs are a bit enthusiastic and takes out the empty plates immediately while having breakfast.

Indeed, on a good day, we could see The Matterhorn as portrayed in the photos. The room we luckily got is very spacious, as one enters there is a foyer where in to one side leads to the living room, and the other side to the bedroom. The lounging and dining area (room) is spacious enough to even fit 4 people. It also comes with a balcony which has a direct view of the Matterhorn. We were informed of other facilities like a heated spa room and some more(if I remember correctly) , though we didn't get to use it. Nevertheless, the front desk and staff were helpful and friendly.

Big room with proper living room and dining area. Nice balcony overlooking the mountains. Very friendly staff (quite possibly the friendliest in our whole trip!) attended to us during check in. Location was great as it was close to the train station, which was one of our main criteria.

There should have been another sink apart from the one in the toilet - four people sharing one sink was very inconvenient especially when you have a common sitting area.

Amazing view, good location, room is as good as showed on the website.

Nothing, but some customers from China ( family with children) spoke loudly in Mandarin when they entered the room , and keep some noises, which may bother other customers.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, especially on reception. Room was a good size and very comfortable, lovely balcony. Close to the railway station and centre. We enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi..

It was a shame that the sauna was out of order. It was unfortunate that there was building work in front of our room and a crane in front of our view of the Matterhorn. We felt we should have been told about this before our stay.

Only negative was that the breakfast room had no coffee machine! You had to wait for a waitress to appear ...that took some time ...then order coffee & wait again. As we only had 30 minutes for breakfast before catching our train, we almost had to skip the coffee! There were only 3 tables busy, so I cannot imagine how that works when the breakfast room is full!

Awesome place. We had a room with Matterhorn view – an it was incredible. Best way to have a couple of beers on the balcony :) Staff was very friendly – we got all the help we needed and felt very welcome. The Pool, the hot tub and the sauna are absolutely top-notch. Definitely the best way to finish a day of hiking in the mountains.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed when we were staying, so we had to go to some other place.

The hotel is in a great central location, very easy to transfer from the train station and to get the gornergrat train. Bus stop is close by if you want to get around the town to other ski lifts etc. Mountain restaurants, like Chez Vrony, Addler Hitta etc around the Findlen area are excellent. The scenery is picture postcard.

Gornergrat train is great but it's quite slow. Shame it's not faster although it's very scenic.
