I recently stayed at Zermatt Budget Rooms, and it was an excellent experience! This hotel offers fantastic value in an otherwise pricey location, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers who don’t want to compromise on comfort. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a cozy stay, including comfortable beds and modern amenities. The location is convenient, with easy access to the train station and ski lifts, making it perfect for both skiers and hikers.

Nothing to hightlight

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! While there was no mountain view from my room, it didn’t bother me at all. The hotel more than made up for it with amazing amenities like a free sauna, spa, pool, and even a mountain-view jacuzzi! There were also plenty of games to enjoy. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, with plenty of variety. My room was surprisingly spacious and had everything I needed. The bathroom was like a room in itself, with a large bathtub, twin basins, and even bathrobes—it felt so luxurious! It was the perfect stay, and I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great value in Zermatt. The stay was very friendly and made us feel ar home. Would always stay here and no where else.

there is nothing not to like

I love the spa included in the facilities, it was really relaxing after a long walk. I could see the Matterhorn when I walked out to the yard surprisingly since I did not book a room with mountain-view.

There were two staffs at the reception desk, one was really friendly and kind, the other one was hmmm.. But anyway, the stay would be perfect if the pillow could be more supporting head/neck.

The room was so spacious. Excellent bathroom. The bath products provided were of excellent quality. Amazing location friendly staff. Well organized and delicious break fast spread. So in love with the pool spa facilities. Special mention to the spacious bathroom and facilities and products. Excellent location. Not far from station. Pickup facility. Over all a wonderful experiensed. Left the place much relaxed and happy.

The room was fantastic. On arrival we were upgraded to a family room and the room was phenomenal. We had a Matterhorn view from the large balcony which was perfect for our morning picture opportunity. The property is 5 minute walk from Zermatt station and the rest of the amazing shops and high street. Breakfast was incredible so much variety. To top it off the wonderful spa is reminiscent of luxury gyms in London, very impressive. My and both my friends were more than impressed with our stay and will definitely be staying here again when we return to Zermatt. For those that smoke, the Sinatra smokers lounge by the entrance is also super cool. Thank you to all the staff who made this stay so wonderful.

Loved everything about the property could not fault it.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel and pool are lovely.

The breakfast staff are abrupt and impolite. Breakfast is supposed to run until 11am but when we came in at 10:30am they were already starting to take the food away. They said in English “I guess some people can’t read the sign” but the sign said breakfast served until 11am, not until 10:40am.

Location was excellent and the environment was very nice. We were greeted by a Portuguese lady who made us feel welcome right from the get-go. We got an upgrade when we got to the hotel and stayed in a family room instead of the budget room we had booked, the room was amazing with a wonderful view to the mountains. We were sad we couldn’t enjoy more the hotel and the facilities like the pool. Breakfast was amazing with so much variety! We definitely want to go back!

It was so nice having a pool and spa available after a long day of skiing. The breakfast buffet each morning was also a highlight of the trip.

I wish I could have been in a room with a few more amenties and a little more space, but I fully recognize that I booked a budget room and got a budget experience.

Huge room, plenty of space for 3 people. Very clean, modern facilities and a really big bathroom. The hotel facilities are amazing - we used the outdoor jacuzzi and indoor pool which were both lovely. Location is great, just a short 5 minute walk from the station. Breakfast was great, including gluten free bread.

Everything was perfect

Lovely staff. Loved being welcomed with a glass of Prosecco! Nice breakfast. Within 5 minute walk from the train station. Got upgraded! The room was spacious, clean, quiet, comfy but very cold the first night; the issue was addressed by the team the next day. The pool is lovely, the saunas are nice, the outside jacuzzi was not hot.
