Modern room design. Close to train station. Breakfast served until 11am.

According to booking details, checkin was from 15.00. But upon arrival close to 15.00 was told "checkin is from 15.30" and that we would have to wait until 15.30. Have never experienced a hotel booking with a checkin time past 15.00, but nevertheless, if this is the case, hotel information needs to be updated accordingly on booking.com Unusual to see such a gap of time (4 and a half hours) between checkout time (11am) and checkin time (15.30)

Excellent room, we had the pleasure to have a free upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was very big and comfy, providing a wonderful view over the Matterhorn. We were only 2, but it could have easily fitted our 2 kids also. Good breakfast. Good ski facilities (lockers). I haven't tried the spa.

One of the receptionists was not really the most welcoming person, but that was not a huge problem, he did his job. The other 2 we've met were very kind and helpful.

Room was lovely

Breakfast was poor: Supposed to run to 11 AM; We arrived about 9:45 AM - many items were gone or almost gone and not being replenished. And it got worse while we were there! Anyone arriving after us got even less to choose from! And the person looking after the room showed little interest to make anything better 😢😠

I made a last-minute trip to Zermatt and needed a place to stay that was reasonable and close to the train station. Since I only stayed one night, I could not utilize the amenities offered at the hotel, but what I said looked terrific. The Breakfast was excellent, with great, healthy options. The room was much bigger than I expected, which was great, and the wooden panels throughout gave it that "Swiss" chalet feel. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was large, clean and up-to-date. The price point was very reasonable for Zermatt, which is expensive by its Swiss nature. The staff was great and I have nothing but positivity for this place.

This is purely a judgment call on what you are looking for when you visit Zermatt. If you are a skier it is a bit of a walk to get you to the closest transportation, The Gornergratto, to you up to the ski resort part but still not that bad. Just an FYI to all the skiers.

The breakfast provided a good variety of both hot and cold items. The Spa was amazing - the heated indoor-outdoor pool was perfect - with loads of jets for hitting those sore muscles from a day of hard skiing. The sauna and steam rooms were nice, and nothing was overcrowded. Reception always had a basket of nice sweets, which was a nice touch - and the staff always gave a nice, friendly smile when I caught was dipping in for another sugar hit. The ski shuttle bus was only a couple minutes walk away at the grocery store.

I'd have a difficult time critiquing anything to be honest.

Great location, 5 minutes away from the train station and from the main street/shops/restaurants. We got the junior suite, which had an amazing balcony and huge windows facing the Matterhorn. Heated floor in the bathroom and great insulation made the room very comfortable temperature-wise while it was snowing outside.

The breakfast is not that great and there's a lot of DYI stuff (you have to cook your own eggs, make your own fruit juice, and your own pancakes). The mini-fridge was not working.

We got an upgraded room with balcony and view to the Matterhorn. Rooms are nicely decorated, very cozy. Big bathroom with shower and bathtub. Breakfast was good. Good variety.

Reception closes at 11.00pm, what should not be a big deal (they give you a key to the main entrance in case you come after this time). But we had met some friends with whom we were chatting at the lobby, and at 11.00 all light went out. We asked the receptionist to keep them on a bit longer, but it was not possible. so we need to call it a night. Regarding the spa facilities: they are fine, but they need to fix one of the showers: it releases the water outside the shower area, and after 2 or 3 people using it, the floor of the whole spa area is overflowed.

Had nice facilities like indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. Included a coffee and dessert session in the afternoon We had a room with a view of the Matterhorn Had the little extras like hotel slippers for that bit of luxe.

Staff not particularly friendly but that seems standard across Switzerland

As experienced travelers, we were blown away by the style, quality, and functionality of the room and common areas. It exemplified a fresh mount retreat. The location was great-very close to the "downtown" action, but enout removed from the noise. The Matterhorn view from the rooms is spectacular.

As a minor observation, the staff was a bit less helpful than they could have been. Perhaps they were a little inexperienced. When we asked about dinner options, we got mundane responses, and promises of followup never materialized. Fortunatly, it proved easy to find great dining in Zermatt on our own.

The hotel was perfect for our visit to Zermatt: very friendly and helpful staff, nice room and facilities, especially the spa, excellent breakfast, location and price. I would like to commend the following staff for their excellent customer service : Denis, Asya, Emi at the Front desk and Laia in the Dining Room. I was also very grateful that my computer charger that I had forgotten in my room, was found by the chambermaid and returned to me at check-out.

Although not at all the fault of the hotel, there was a lot of noisy construction work going on every week day from the early morning to the late afternoon. I was later told that in Zermatt, a lot of roadwork, building construction and renovation work is done every year in many parts of the town during the months of May and October. Many, many diesel-run trucks and vehicles circulate in around the town, even the main shopping street. Had I known this, I would not have booked during the month of October. The weekends and evening are quiet of course.
