Location, pool, staff, food—all great.

We were there during a heat wave. There were fans in the room but it was still very warm making it difficult to sleep. I understand that hotels in the Alps usually do not have AC but it would have been appreciated.

Whilst the hotel is beautiful, stylish and has everything we could wish for, the staff are definitely the highlight of the hotel and made our stay an amazing experience. The reception and bar staff always engaged with us and made us feel like VIP guests, remembering our names, what activities we were doing and greeting us with such warmth every time they saw us. The barmaid in particular was amazing and made sure our son and his friend enjoyed the alcohol free cocktails…….she made amazing cocktails and our son and his friend kept her busy for the whole of our stay.

There is nothing we didn’t like about the hotel……fantastic location, amazing facilities and the best staff.

The property is brilliantly located, very central and very clean. The staff were the real stand out for me. They just couldn’t do enough for me, I was blown away. I would come down at 6am to get some work done on my laptop in the main lobby of the hotel. The reception really went out of their way to keep bringing me coffees and offering me anything I needed. They even started expecting me in the mornings, and knew my order and made sure I had everything. Even in the evenings, they knew my wine order and would put the fireplace on for me. They really made me feel looked after. Such a wonderful place - the staff make it special. I can’t thank them enough for their care and attention!!

Close to train station, Clear view of the Matterhorn, Spacious room, Great variety of options during breakfast. We also spent 2 more nights than planned due to a snow storm that completely shut off Zermatt access to outside. Many places are left without electricity for couple of days, but the hotel is one of the few places that is connected to back-up grid and get the electricity back working after the first night. The hotel also offered a lot of help during the time, e.g., hot soups for guest, prepare breakfast the best they can without electricity, update you on the information of the situation. Kudos to everyone in the hotel from reception to cleaners for being considerate and for their hard work to help the guests during the time. This hotel will be our first choice if we ever visit Zermatt again in the future.

Pretty much everything! The whole suite was great. Nice furnishings, bedding and great and comfortable space with balcony and lovely view. Kitchen was fully equipped with lovely china and quality cutlery. Coffe machine and abundance of pods. Afternoon tea (fee), spa and gym. Loved the free yoga classes (thank you Marcela for amazing class). Also thank you to all others for being friendly and making us feel welcome and taken care of. The surprise Bday singing at breakfast was nice touch! All in all loved it! Thank you

The property is stunning! Everything is neutral relaxing colors. I understand there was a recent renovation and they did a great job. The location is right across from the train station (walkable even with luggage) and right next to the gornergrat rail station. The staff were beyond pleasant and friendly, we especially loved the bartender (forgot her name lol). The spa is the most luxurious spa I’ve ever seen…and I’ve been to some lovely high end spas. We loved the pool! The breakfast buffet is great with fantastic coffee. Honestly…the attention to detail everywhere made our stay so very special.

Had an absolutely perfect stay. The hotel is cozy but also feels luxurious. Everything is nice and clean. The breakfast was so delicious, it had everything and even more you wish a breakfast included. The fitness, spa and the pool are perfect for everyone who loves to work out, but also enjoys relaxing and recovering. The spa is super clean and even offers small snacks. The best thing however was the staff. Everyone was super welcome, warm and always available. As a solo traveler, it is extra nice when you feel looked after. Every morning I left a note about which trail I would explore, and every time I came back in the afternoon, I received the nicest welcome. I really felt liked they cared about my me and my safety. The best place to stay in Zermatt and I will definitely return. Thank you very much for the best stay in Zermatt.

I booked an apartment with 2 rooms, & a big, well equipped open kitchen, very large, clean, tidy; large refrigerator, lots of cups & dishes, washing machine, Smart TV with youtube, netflix, weather forecast,etc; room can see Mt Matterhorn; many facilities (pool, spa, sauna, table tennis, snooker, etc), breakfast buffet very nice, coffee is good (start at 07:00), very close to rail station (especially nice for taking Glacier Express in early morning) & main street. It should be everyone's first choice in Zermatt!

There's air-con but was shut down, I visit in Sept, staff suggest can open windows & balcony door but too many insects (Bees, Flies, etc) in Switzerland (Not this hotel but the whole Switzerland), so I just keep all closed, then the ventilation is not so good. At least we should hv a choice?

The staff were super super helpful and friendly, especially one. A young lady at receptionist can't remember her name (Cassandra or similar, name sounded kind of latin) who went in beyond to help us with recommendations and more. The location was perfect near to main train station and to Gornergrat station. The facilities were very nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Didn't had a chance to use the pool and spa but did go and checked it out and all looked very nice. Wished I could've stay longer. The price was over my budget but I really loved the place.

Booking the right hotel has always been part of our travel itinerary. Schloss, Zermatt is definitely a must try. It is located just across the main train station, 3mins away from the gornegratt railway, 10mins away from sunnega blauherd station. The main road where everything is from shops, to restaurants, and grocery is just a couple of minutes away. The facilities are amazing with a heated pool, a spa, a big balcony, and a working fridge. Breakfast choices are more than enough and are real good. Plus all room booking include afternoon tea. The staff are lovely and courteous. This hotel is worth every penny.
