The location in Zermatt could not have been better. It is literally a 5 min walk from the main train station and line to the Matterhorn view point. Near many restaurants and shops to explore the town. Our room was on the back side of the hotel, so even with the windows open we had a pleasant nights sleep. The employees we interacted with at check-in and check-out were all so kind and welcoming. We appreciated their recommendations and hospitality.

The hotel room itself was quite clean, however we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. There were many flies all over the dinning area while we tried to eat both meals. The doors and windows were open to the restaurant throughout the day as there is no AC, but the hotel needs to work a bit on controlling the insects.

Katrine on the front desk. Absolute gem. She was born to be gracious and helpful and fun. She has a voice for telling bedtime stories or sharing information on the radio. I suspect she has been told this before. Room design is something I've not seen before, very beautiful and functional use of space Gold taps, bath big enough for a very large, long person. Bathroom with a view, triple glazed multi way windows plus a balcony. Did I mention the view?! Breakfast was brilliant: overnight cinnamon oats were delicious, bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Pineapple cake for breakfast! Hot chocolate, fruit salad, all special.

We liked everything, even the door key!

It's a nice place, room looks small in pics, but was more than enough for 4 of us in family, including 2 children of ages 11 and 14. Christiana at the reception is an amazing lady, warm, professional and very knowledgeable. She immediately made us feel at home. The terrace outside is very pretty and quiet as well as spacious. In the morning, as I waited for the clouds are clear, just as Christiana had said, I was lucky to view the Matterhorn right from the terrace. Beautiful stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was newly refurbished, it was quite beautiful, clean although a little bit small for us. I must mention though that we had a baby with us.

The breakfast was quite limited in its choices. The entrance of the hotel had a certain level of difficulty for us that we had the baby and its cradle. No lockers for skis. Unfortunately the great location of the hotel right in the main street, is limiting its available space for pretty much everything. Storage, amenities, rooms, common spaces.

The woman at the front desk Kristiana (not spelled correctly I know) was amazing. She was able to offer me a second room next to my daughter and her two friends which made our stay absolutely wonderful. She also went out of her way to make restaurant recommendations, and they were also phenomenal!

Breakfast was not very good at all. Limited selection had a casserole dish of scrambled eggs out with flies in it, which was really unappealing, and the girl in the breakfast room was not very kind.

The hotel location is excellent. The view was fabulous from the terrace with the Matterhorn view. The overall cleanliness and the staff service was excellent. Highly recommended if you are traveling with family and young kids. It is in the main street and few minutes walk from gornergrat and zermatt / tasch station.

Great location, steps from train station. We stayed in one of the family rooms, with a queen bed and 2 full size bunk beds. Room had lots of storage for the four of us. Also there was a balcony with a small table and chairs to sit outside. Very clean facilities.

No refrigerator in room. We travel with medicine that needs to be refrigerated and missed that detail. They were helpful at the front desk by storing it for us. Breakfast was a little bit sparse by American standards. Some bread, cheese, yogurt, croissants and fruit; also some eggs that you could hard boil, plus juice and coffee. There was enough, but nothing extra.

Super close walk from the train station, comfortable beds, very modern furnishings and very clean. Breakfast is decent, and staff are very friendly.

As some reviews said, it got hot during the night but leaving the window open did the trick; value was perhaps only okay but actually quite decent for Zermatt (all relative).

The hotel manager was great. She was very helpful for what to do and how to get around. We got a free upgrade for our room and could see the Matterhorn from the room balcony. Breakfast was very full selection including option to cut your own Apennzeller cheese.

It was expensive for our budget. But given how nice everything was it was worth it. I would stay again.

Clean and well located.

The very impolite lady working in the reception. We haven't any cash to pay the city taxes (just a card), but if we knew in advance that payment was required by cash, or, at least, if she had let us withdraw the money, it wouldn’t have existed any problem. She got crazy about the card payment, and, literally, threw the card machine on the receptionist's desk to show all her anger (in front of other guests). She was very disrespectful and could've spoken to us without freaking out, so we could’ve easily solved this minor thing.
