super close to train station the price is incredibly cheap the room is big and clean

Staff are unfriendly. Quite racist. No lift to the reception. You need to drag your luggage along the stair by yourself

Location is very convenient to all the "tourist" activities in Zermatt. Staff was over the top helpful in making restaurant suggestions and with any inquiries. I was impressed with their ability to accommodate groups and individual tables with a healthy and well rounded breakfast. Tourist office down the street is very knowledgeable and can give you lots of great options on what to do. The Zermatt App is great for making decisions. Zermatt overall does tourism well and seems to handle very well the many tourists arriving and departing on a daily basis. View of the Matterhorn from our room was a BONUS!

Nothing to not like here.

This was a good hotel. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and the hotel was convenient for the railway stations and the centre of town. The Reception staff were very friendly.

The only real draw back was that the hotel is on the main street and although things did quieten down eventually, there were a lot of people walking by talking loudly until late. The town came to life quite early as well, so sleep was not as ideal as it might have been.

This lovely hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Zermatt’s main train station. It’s tucked away between shops on the high street, so you’ll need to keep an eye out for it. The location is great, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and stores. The hotel itself is simple but welcoming, and we were greeted by a lovely receptionist upon arrival. Our room was spacious and clean—while the decor felt a bit dated, the bathroom seemed to have been recently renovated. Breakfast was decent.

I would suggest adding a bit more variety to the breakfast selection. It would also be helpful to include labels on the food trays, so guests know what type of meat (e.g., turkey, pork) or cheese they’re selecting. Additionally, labelling the boiled eggs would be great, as they were tucked away in a red basket and easy to miss. We only found out about them at the end of our breakfast when we saw another guest asking for eggs. Hope that helps! :)

Location is close to train station. We have a room with balcony, pretty private, with a canvas partition between the rooms. Nice mountain view. Room is spacious in European standard. Gerard at the front desk is exceptionally friendly and helpful. He is trying to accommodate all our requests. Victor is informative and friendly as well. Susanna in the restaurant is very good, always serve our breakfast with a smile and clean up and replenish food efficiently.

Carpet is dated but the rest is quite new. It will be great to have a bar fridge and kettle in the room. There is a coffee machine but water is not hot enough to make tea.

Staff was so nice and gave great food recommendation. The room was very clean(my wife is a clean freak, so she was happy)! There were toiletries and wash cloths which I didn’t realize weren’t included in a lot of hotels. Perfect location right in the middle of downtown so it’s a close walk from the train station and to the ski lifts. Breakfast was wonderful! Breads, oats, cereals, as well as tons of fruits, meats like smoked salmon and prosciutto, cheeses and yogurts. Wonderful coffee and tea were also served all day and through breakfast. Will definitely be staying here again. They also let us leave our luggage as long as we needed.

Perfect location in centre of Zermatt's main street, 5 mins walk from the train terminal, amongst shops and restaurants. A view of the Matterhorn peak and the village from out shared balcony was an unexpected bonus. The room was very spacious - best we've ever had in a 3 star hotel - and heaps of storage. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and helpful. Loved it!

No negatives. We were perfectly happy. Except perhaps for the soft and flat pillows which seems to be the norm in Europe.

The property was outstanding. So convenient from the train station and literally where all the action is. We booked 3 rooms for our family of six and one happened to be the deluxe (because of lack of other availability), which had a balcony, two lounge chairs and an amazing view of the Matterhorn amidst the charming downtown architecture. The deluxe room was immaculate and modern, incredibly spacious with separate reception space with closets and desk, separate bathroom, bedroom area with comfy couch and extra chairs. We were tired after a long day and ordered pizza for our family to eat in the room and it was perfect! Despite being in the heart of everything, it was quiet and we had a great sleep! On top of that, a nice breakfast was included.

Great location! Close to the train station, like three minutes walking. Yes! you can see the Matterhorn from your window. Small hotel with a very nice room and fabulous shower. Breakfast was very good with many choices. I will go back again, we loved it.

Maybe the fact that you have to pull your suitcases up the stairs, but it’s only about five steps, and it’s because the elevator doesn’t get to the entrance… other than that I have nothing else to say.

Fantastic location, can't get any better with 5 minutes walk from Zermatt GGB station. This is a car-free neighbourhood with only electric taxis and no public transports so you don't want your hotel being too far away especially with luggage. Room is very spacious and comfortable, ours also come with a balcony though the view is average. Coffee machine available in room. Luggage storage available, friendly and helpful receptionist. Breakfast is pretty standard.

A mini fridge could be too much to ask for but there is no kettle in room. We didn't end up using the balcony but it looks quite dusty, as if not been used nor cleaned for weeks.
