The hotel is just 5 mins away by foot from Zermatt Bahnhof and having an excellent location in the Bahnhofstrasse. The room was spacious & clean for 3 people and it matched the provided description & pictures. They provide a mini fridge and hair dryer in the room. Breakfast was included as part of the room and it is a fixed menu of cheese, breads, eggs, fruits, muesli, cereal, yogurt, milk, juices, meats etc. You have to climb a short set of stairs to reach the ground floor and they have an elevator then to reach the higher floors. It perfectly fulfilled our purpose of visiting & exploring Zermatt& the Matterhorn and would recommend it to other travellers coming for the same purpose.

The bathroom was a bit small and the design didn't allow for a lot of movement.

Breakfast was very nice. A great experience. Checkin was easy and smooth. I was only given one key. I should've asked if there was a second key available-- they are physical hard keys. Location is insanely good-- close to train station. Easy to walk everywhere. Great food nearby. Shower was amazing pressure albeit a small closet. Another water closet was in the hall nearby.

The no AC room was an issue that led to warm sleep. The duvet was too thick for summer and no. aC. We kept the window and balcony door open for some airflow. A few bugs got in but not bad. The pillows were very odd-- so squishy and soft. Not a good pillow experience.

The place was very near train station, 3 mins walk, the restaurants are very near, the breakfast was simple but adequate, the rooms are very clean and the faciities are in good working condition.

You have to lift your baggages at the entrance, not suitable for elderly, they should construct a ramp to facilitate the transfer of heavy luggages, cant be helped if your planning to on extended vacation in Switzerland, best to install a bidet at the bathroom, all the new hotels have these ontheir toilet seat. We didnt have adequate supply of soap , but you can request in the morning

Good breakfast included. Very clean and nice soap. Comfortable bed - very excellent down feather (?) feeling bedding perfect comfort level softness for mattress. Room is spacious with a safe box. Balcony with beautiful snowy view and friendly wildlife you can see (birds on roofs and flying afar). Excellent location right at the city center close to everything - train station, restaurants, shopping, etc. - yet secluded enough to be accessible via a smaller street cozily tugged away from the main street. Very kind informative staff who introduced me tips about how to visit the mountains. Love the desk and chair in the room - gorgeous view when set up facing the balcony. A LOT of power outlets - it's impressively functional. Everything is perfectly maintained.

Breakfast could have more variety in menu options. Floor could be a bit squeaky you can hear yourself and when people walk past the hallway, but I guess it's because it's wooden structured building. The bed comes in as two twin beds - for traveling solo that means having a small bed and half not used - wish there's queen option. Pillow is a bit too soft although very excellent material inside like the bedding - one flattens right away when you sleep on it because it's so fluffy (although comfortable and luxurious feeling) two is a bit too much. But overall it's 10/10 stay.

The place was a 2-3minute walk to the train station. The room given to us had a spacious balcony which we did not expect but highly appreciated. It had great views of the mountains. It also has some kind of TV room / dining room which we also appreciate. The receptionist was very nice and accommodating to us - she even let us leave our luggage while we explore the town and let us stay in the lobby while waiting for our train. The bed the very comfortable and the place was great overall. The breakfast is also decent.

The bathroom was a bit cramped - it was very hard to move around. The breakfast is decent but there were no cooked choices like scrambled eggs, or some soup, wouldve been nice but aren’t really dealbreakers. The price is a bit on the expensive side as well.

Pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. Checkin was at the Hotel Continental next door. Staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. Fantastic location. We were on the 4th floor with a balcony offering a beautiful view. Easy walk from the train station with good access to a ski locker/drying room. Smaller friendly hotel which kind of had a ski club vibe with the small older corridors. Very happy considering it’s down town Zermatt. What more could you ask for in a 2 star hotel in one of the most famous ski areas a in the world!

One of the advantages is that there is a place to store luggage at reception. If you arrive during office hours, you can collect the key at the reception. The room has a balcony, so I can enjoy fresh air and good ventilation.It's very convenient to walk from the train station with luggage, as the sidewalks are smooth and the distance is short. According to Google Maps, it takes about 5 minutes to walk while pulling your suitcase.

A kettle is available, but you need to request it at the reception.

Hotel was located close to the train station and the main shopping venue. A very convenient location. Our room was in the back of the building and had a very large balcony with a great view. We didn't expect that. The staff was attentive, and the breakfast was good. Note that the shower and toilet were in the bathroom, and the sink and medicine cabinet were in the main room. This arrangement was neither bad nor good for us, it worked well. And finally, the area that the hotel was located in was quiet, and didn't disturb sleeping.

The only downside to our room was that the shower was quite small, and the actual bedroom itself was tight. But neither of these were deal breakers.

Location was really convenient, several minutes of walk form the train station, really helpful for us since the weather was raining on the day of arrival.the stairs are surprisingly wide comparing to some hotels even in metro cities such as Bern, or Geneve. Staff was friendly to lent us a electric plug converter so that the US type plugs can be used in the room. Breakfast is included in the room fee, and has had plenty of options.

Room is quite compact, luckily we are light travelers, and don't have a lot of bags. There is no USB charging ports or other EU standard outlet for plugs, however the front desk has one to borrow from.

Clean, comfortable and in a good location. The balcony was nice, good to,have a lift, and the only hotel of five weeks in Europe including 10 days i. France to,have a bidet! Breakfast was good with a large variety.the room had a small fridge which was a plus. Wifi was also ok. Housekeeping was very efficient in cleaning the room while we were at breakfast.

No second pillow and the single pillow was not great. Also no ability to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room
