We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Zermatt. The location is convenient — not too far from the train station and within walking distance to the town center. The staff were friendly and informative, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We booked a room with a view of the Matterhorn, and it did not disappoint — the clear view of the mountain was absolutely breathtaking and truly made our trip memorable. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality items. It was a great way to start each day. Our double room was spacious and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Zermatt, especially if you’re looking for beautiful views and warm hospitality.

Great location, 5 min walk from train station. Monica the manager met us when we arrived and it was the easiest, quickest check in. Our room had an amazing clear view of the Matterhorn and we could hear the river as we fell asleep, I wished we stayed longer. The bathrooms were updated and the room was big enough for us two and all our bags. She even let us store our bags while we went up the Gornergrat for a few hours. Breakfast was tasty too! Def would stay here again!

Old style Swiss chalet charm. An easy walk from Zermatt station. We had a lovely cosy room with an excellent view of the majestic Matterhorn from the balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a lovely variety on offer. We loved that our balcony was above a little Apres bar which played great music for a few hrs in the late afternoon and early evening. Fun to sing along to great tunes.

The hotel is close / walking distance to everything, which was very convenient and nice to have. It's a very short walk. Our room had a lovely balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. It was gorgeous and we didn't have any noise issues at night. The breakfast was also quite good.

The beds were not comfortable. The mattresses are very thin and so we didn't sleep well, which was a shame after being on the mountain all day. Also, the restaurant ran out of hot breakfast on weekends, if you didn't get downstairs by 0900, there were no eggs or hot bacon / sausage for your breakfast.

It was quite a big room in the attic on the 5th floor, the lift goes to 4th floor, but it was completely not a problem for us. The room has windows with view on the Matterhorn. Seeing it reddish in the afternoon was a great view as it was foggy up there, but seeing it clear red in the morning is an astonishing experience! It seems to me that the room can easily accommodate 4 people as it also has a sofa. The only problem could be access to the toilet ;-) The breakfast was really very good, as it states in the room description. It was our first visit to Zermatt but the hotel i first on the list for our next visit.

Since it was in the attic, there was a slanted ceiling, but the size of the room makes up for it. And I imagine it could be of some inconvenience for a tall person (over 180cm tall).

It was close to the main street in Zermatt, where you can find lots of stores and restaurants. There is also a supermarket very near to the hotel (within 1 min walk distance). The inside of the hotel was relatively a old-fashioned design. The staffs were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the panorama view of the Matterhorn every morning. Comfortable room with tidy bathroom.

Only one staff was available in the restaurant during breakfast hour, which he/she could be super busy to prepare tea/coffer, clean up tables, and refill food and utensils. Reserve sufficient time for breakfast if you have a tight schedule in the morning.

Great Location, only 5 minutes' walk from the Train Station. The bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is great! Staff is nice and helpful. Free transportation to the train station after checking out is very helpful!

There are mosquitos inside the room. Facilities are simple, no kettle.

Perfect location and spacious rooms with fairly comfortable beds. They upgraded me to a room with a view of the Matterhorn and it was amazing. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was ok.

Not much to complain about! Bed was a little bouncy but would be comfortable for someone who likes that. Nothing extravagant but a solid hotel.

We booked a room with Matterhorn view and it was amazing. Location is perfect: 5 minutes walk from the train station, right next to center and all shops.

The hotel is a bit old and could be renovated. The only thing we did not understand is bathroom door - it does not close properly, there is no privacy. And the breakfast is very basic

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. We can see the Matterhorn from the room as described.

There is a bar right below the room and it was a bit noisy. Water temperature from the shower was not consistent, sometimes cold sometimes hot.
