In what has to be one of the prettiest and cleanest little towns on the planet, this hotel was wonderful. The room we had was a nice size and well-appointed. Very comfortable. We truly felt like we had our own private space in a chalet. The reception staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. And the bar downstairs opening up onto the town's main street had a great vibe and super bar staff. Breakfast was sensational in the delightful breakfast room. Being vegan, it was great to have a very good selection to fuel us up for the day ahead. Less than 10 minutes easy walk from the train station (with luggage) straight up the main street, this hotel ticked all the boxes for us. Thank you for having us in your fantastic hotel!

i want to thank the hotel staff who have been so welcoming especially "Marvelous"-Marco who knows the town so well and gave superb recommendations on where i can find the best spot for the amazing view of zermatt town with matterhorn backdrop. my room is very nice, modern-rustic, comfortable and provides a nespresso machine, bose speaker which i used everyday. another great thing is the free shuttle service to-and-from train station, the drivers are terrific, very knowledgeable about the town and all things zermatt-ic. i would highly recommend this hotel to family & friends.

Perfect! Just got back our month long honeymoon and this was our favourite hotel we stayed in. We were in the Matterhorn Junior Suite and it was just gorgeous, so comfortable and cosy but spacious. Nice view of the Matterhorn. A bit obstructed by the building in front BUT that didn’t really take away from the view, just made the room feel more private. Room service food was excellent, included breakfast was great and service overall was fantastic. Couldn’t fault the location, central to pretty much everything. Room was a bit warm the first night but we were advised to open a window which we did, no issues after that. Great for the environment! Booked massages and used the spa a few times, so relaxing and everything you need at all times is provided including refreshments, extra towels, etc. Will 100% be staying here again if we come back.

Very cosy room, plush bedding and huge bathroom. Comes with good quality shampoo and balm. A lot of things to do in the hotel itself, we spent time in the sauna, and also enjoyed our welcome drinks and continue to order more from the delicious cocktail lounge. Quite lucky to bump into and chat with the hotel owner Mr. Martin Perren while in my bathrobe in the lift, so you can imagine how down to earth is the owner.

I would say there’s limited varieties capsule coffee the room keeper is giving out. Just caffeinated and decaf. I have had cherries and chocolate elsewhere. At night if could be abit noisy from the outside as there are rowdy partygoers gathering on the street. But it’s not a big deal.

I loved our balcony and liked the view. I loved that restaurants and bars that were attached to the hotel. The free breakfast was pretty good too. The location was great and walking distance to everything.

no AC but I know this is common in Europe. Because there wasn't any AC we had to leave our balcony door open and we happened to be there when the city was hosting a party and it was Switzerland national day too, so we can hear all the noise from the festivities. We had to take sleeping medication to try to sleep throughout the night. I think I would have booked something further away from the city center just to have a quieter environment.

The location of the hotel, the Vivanda and Brown Cow restaurants are exceptional, the service is very good. The breakfast, served at Vivanda, is very good. The room I had (style room) was very clean, very large compared to other hotels in the area.

I expected a 4-star hotel to have a refrigerator in the room, in winter it is not really necessary having a balcony and the temperature like in a refrigerator.

Excellent service. We were picked up from train station and brought back to the train station. Marco at the desk was very helpful giving ideas what to do in Zermatt and Elijah as well. Breakfast was very nice atmosphere and great selection. We had a deck outside and enjoyed sitting there during the evening with the Matterhorn in the distance. Marco showed us how to get to the graveyard where a lot of climbers who died are buried. Very unusual.

Great central location with few restaurants and bars in the hotel. Nice wooden interior and room amenities. Very kind and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.

If you are seeking a restful night's sleep, it may be challenging, particularly on weekends, due to the excessively loud music from the hotel's club. Additionally, we arrived after 7 PM, which meant there was no hotel taxi available to collect us, unlike the service provided by other hotels.

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of the bustling streets of Zermatt, close to many restaurants, bars, and ski lifts. The restaurant and bar on property were excellent and we enjoyed both during our stay there. The rooms were small but luxurious and overlooking a fantastic view of the Matterhorn. They also picked us up and returned us to the train station, which we most appreciated.

The rooms are small so luggage needs to be managed well.

I loved the design of the room, the spa was great, the staff was amazing and breakfast was great. really liked the bars

we stayed at room 301 and we couldn’t sleep at all. it was facing the street and another bar and people were loud and partying until 5 am. so basically we were up all nights. It was not quite at all.
