I was warmly welcomed by the very friendly receptionist, Camilla, who provided clear and helpful instructions upon check-in, making my arrival smooth and stress-free. During an unexpected situation where I was stranded in Zermatt for over 48 hours due to weather conditions, the hotel staff remained incredibly supportive. They kept us updated whenever we had questions, showing great patience and care throughout the whole experience. The location is very convenient — just a short walk from the railway station — and a simple but satisfying breakfast was provided each morning. The highlight of my stay was definitely the room view: a perfect, unobstructed sight of the Matterhorn right from my window. It truly made the entire journey unforgettable.

Hotel Elite is perfectly located, in the city center and 5 min away from all points of interest including main railway station, bus and train that is taking you to ski areas, restaurants/pubs, supermarket in front of the hotel. Rooms are spacious, large bathroom, comfortable beds and cleaned daily. Breakfast is really good and freshly made. Staff is also very nice and helpful. On the arrival, our room was nit ready but since we came early and wanted to go skiing, lady at reception asked cleaning staff to prioritize our room which was ready in less then an hour 😊 You will not make a mistake by choosing

All was great

We've had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Elite. The location is super convenient for easy walk to both Sunnega and the mountain train. In the evenings all restaurants and shops are just steps away. Small but clean and pleasant sauna room was great after a day of skiing. The hotel staff was exceptional. When one of the hotel guests accidentally took our ski boots from the ski room, the hotel staff worked with the other guest to resolve the issue and we got our boots in the post just a few days later. Will definitely be looking to stay at this hotel on our next trip to Zermatt.

The hotel is very well located 5 minutes walk from the station. It is just off the main street so was nice and quiet. Our room had a view of the Matterhorn and from our bed we could watch the sun turning its peak pink as the sun rose. Priceless. The breakfast had lots of choices and was nice and fresh. We would certainly hope to return. An added bonus is access to the rooms is available an hour before most hotels which as we intended to arrive by a certain train was the reason we booked in the first place.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The room was excellent! The nice lady at the front desk upgraded us to a corner room for more space since there were 3 of us. The room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful view of the mountains from our wrap around balcony (totally unexpected)! The bathroom was really spacious for a European hotel. The hotel was a 5 min walk from the train station and located close to restaurants, shops and grocery (a Migros around the corner). The breakfast and free luggage storage were convenient. We only stayed one night, but it was perfect!

Location at Zermatt is everything, and they provide complimentary shuttle service from station. Breakfast was lovely though small spread. Rooms have beautiful mountain views and beside there's a popular Italian restaurant, Decathlon and Migros just beside.

The room we stayed is not too big but comes with the balcony, which could be smaller I feel - but then again this is Zermatt, costlier hotels are expected here. Is a bit dated, furnishings too, but clean

The wellness area should place rules of behaviour with text and symbolic images as prominently as possible. I used the sauna for 2 days and either guests (international guests) did not shower before using it, wore bathing suits (unhygienic without end) or did not use the sauna towel as required. The small but nice sauna area will not remain in this light for long if the guests behave in a really strange way.

Room and location. The room was well appointed. The boot room was small but had boot heaters and everything dried overnight.

Breakfast could have had a bit more variety and the cooked items were not very good.

Great location, friendly, efficient check-in and out, wonderful newly renovated bath with Jacuzzi bathtub, good breakfast buffet.

If all staff was so friendly and positive as the person at the reception, experience and memory would be even better.

We booked a standard room and it was bigger than we expected, with balcony and view of mountains between nextdoor hotels. Very comfortable bed. Great shower. Hotel better than we expected from the reviews. Short walk from the train station.

Breakfast was good but not the best on the trip.
