Lovely hotel really close to the train station. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were so lovely I can’t fault them. We dined at the restaurant in reception and the food was outstanding. One of the best burgers I have ever had and the service was great. We got so lucky to have a clear day so we could see the Matterhorn from our balcony, although only one side of the balcony not the full length of it. I would call it a partial view.

I don’t really think the junior suite is worth just over 500GBP a night. If you had the items in the minibar included and other extras it would definitely be worth it. It was our honeymoon which I advised them of prior to arriving and someone sent a lovely message back to say they had noted it on our reservation. But we arrived and didn’t even receive a congratulations. For such a luxury hotel and for the price point it would have been nice to have this recognised not with anything of monetary value but even a note in the room would have gone a long way. We also found a lipstick and some earrings in the sofa bed so I’m not sure the room gets a full check between guests..

Beatiful and comfy place. Reception and restaurant staff are very friendly and professional, making you feel really welcome. Excellent room servicing. Beatiful room with balcony and view. The food was way better than expected!. Great gastronomic experience. A restaurant to go even if you don't stay at the hotel. Excellent place. Definitely to book there again.

Beatiful single (?) room with balcony*, but it would be of greater value if the bed was smaller and a table and chair were added**, what also allows for more room to go around the bed. If the room is intended for 2 people - as it seemed to me - it would be way too small, especially for winter tourists coming with all the winter gear, to a hotel of that category. *Thanks for fulfilling my wish! **I needed to work and used your cozy open facilities but I needed the privacy of a room. The chairs at the restaurant are really low :-)

Great little Boutique Hotel right in the heart of Zermatt. My room was amazing. I only wish I had stayed longer to enjoy it more. The restaurant was fantastic! I had a dinner well worth the Michelin rating and the breakfast was top notch. Hotel staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay at this place again.

It was out of the Hotel's control, but I did not like the demolition of a building next door. In the defence of the hotel and construction work, they kept the noise minimal with no early morning drilling or destruction.

The staff, hotel overall, rooms and breakfast offerings were fantastic. We could see why it received such a high rating. Plenty of room to unpack and spread out. The bed and bedding were super comfortable. Since the weather was mild when we were there, and the rooms don't have a/c, we slept with the window opened a bit and that worked perfectly. The pool and spa were wonderful and relaxing. The breakfast offerings were plentiful and varied. Something for everyones taste. It was close to the train station and easy to get to.

Our only complaint, was that the shower stall is super, SUPER slippy. While using the body wash, I took a bad fall from the suds on the floor. The handicap bar that is installed is also super smooth and slippery. When I mentioned it as a concern to the front desk, they were very apologetic and said that they do offer bath mats for the bottom of the tub, you just had to ask. I never would have thought to ask for one. Rather, there should be one in every bath to use. This could be a big problem for the hotel.

The staff was great, they really do try their best! Honestly, absolutely everyone was great, reception, breakfast, restaurants. I came many times to the main Resto and it was always an excellent experience, I love the atmosphere, the design,and the food is of course also delicious. It was first stay at the hotel and I found it great, super cosy room (the bed was fantastically comfortable) ! If you come with a small child, mind the fact that the music in the main restaurant and bar is very loud. I never really noticed until I came with a three month old baby, ha! But that's what makes the place feel so fun for adults!

The location of the hotel is so convenient. It is less then 2 min walk from when you exit the train station. It is also only 2.5 min walk to the Gornagrat bahn. The hotel is well kepted and you can tell the hotel has really put alot of effort into it's furnishings. My suite had a 1.5 bath where there was a seperate half bathroom. The hotel staff had our room ready when we arrived. Including all of our requests. We also had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn from our patio.

The only thing I did not like is the thickness of the pillows. The pillows would flatten almost completely in a couple of hours.

Modern and comfortable. Great beds and nice rooms. Very close to train station and gornergrad train station, and about 10 min walk from matterhorn lift. Nice swimming pool and small but ok gym. We had a family room and later a junior suite. The family room had a separate bedroom for the parents but size wise they were similar and we preferred the junior suite actually.

First nights we had a suite on the street side but as it is so central the street is quite noisy. As the rooms don't have airco, sleeping with the windows open means noise in the evening and early morning. The last night we had a suite on the back of the property with matterhorn views which was nice and quiet.

Very conveniently located a few mins walk from train station, we arrived the first day the hotel re-opened for the summer season. Front desk staff are exceptionally helpful, in particular Philip who recommended that the gondola up to Matterhorn despite webcam showing overcast. It was not too crowded (would not be to do it in high season with huge crowds) and the views were stunning as the clouds disappeared on our way up and area at the top with ice cave & ice sculptures very much worth a wander. Returned to immaculate spacious junior suite which was exactly as depicted and very much appreciated after stay at another Zermatt hotel which was dire. Made use of beautiful spa & pool, both immaculate and huge. Dinner was very good as was breakfast. Bar staff exceptionally friendly and helpful like front desk with extensive bar and excellent cocktails. On the way to Zermatt from Lauterbrunnen, we left a small backpack with new hiking poles bought in Zurich on a train (had three train changes). We filed a report with lost & found, hopeful it would be turned in. Three weeks later the backpack turned up and was sent to Zermatt as that's what we had requested. We were able to organize DHL to ship it home to us but need the backpack packaged. My husband spoke to Philip at hotel on the phone and the hotel got our backpack from the train station, packaged it for us, DHL picked it up from the hotel and we got it four days later with everything intact, even the cookies given to us by hotel in Bern (which were incredibly delicious).

Breakfast service was a bit lacking, likely due to first morning of re-opening. All eggs in the unique sand display were overcooked and an additional coffee we ordered never arrived before we had to leave. We had been booked for two nights here but had to change our dates in Zermatt so only got to stay here one night and would have preferred two nights, not the hotel's fault as they were not open for our first night in Zermatt.

The staff were amazing - Victor at the bar in particular! They team were all very informative. Stylish, comfortable and clean hotel room. Stunning bar. The restaurant at the hotel was divine / we had fantastic meals and the included breakfast was great. Really close walk to train station even with big bags wasn’t a problem. In the heart of Zermatt

Bathroom was a bit tight. No air conditioner which made it a bit stuffy (I need air flow personally)

Poor selection at breakfast. Should have a machine where customers can make their own coffee. Bathroom. We stayed at suite 501. Beautiful. However, the shower inside the bathtub was vey small, my husband was hitting his head on the wall, and very slippery. In addition, no window for ventilation which turned the suite really hot. We had to use 2 floor fans to keep the bedroom kind of cool at night.
