Room is spacious, clean and beds are comfy. Best part was the spa area, jacuzzi, steam, sauna, a meditation/relaxation room, gym as well. Perfect after that long hike. Staff were sweet and accommodating. Has some nice view of the Matterhorn.

Breakfast was decent. However, could be improved. Lack of hot items/food like scrambled eggs and sausages. It would also be nice if there is available microwave for guests to use, since Zermatt is unbelievably expensive. Food from grocery can be heated anytime. Balcony from our room lacks an outdoor chair, it was only one. But we were two, would be great if they were 2 chairs to enjoy fresh air and view.

We liked everything about the hotel! The staff were friendly. The breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was delicious and fresh. We rented one of the apartments, which was very roomy and offered kitchen facilities for us to prepare meals in house, which was a savings for our family. The highlight was the spa facilities, which included a sauna, steam room, whirlpool and amazing rain-shower showerheads. Also, the location is very close to the bus which takes skiers to the lift locations.

Great location in the centre of town, less than 10 minutes from the transport hub and close to lots of great restaurants. Spa area downstairs was a welcome addition after a day out hiking, rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Good breakfast available daily and even provided for us when we were leaving early.

Not much storage space available in the room and could’ve used a fridge in the room (although staff were able to help with food items I needed kept cold).

Hotel is conveniently situated in a quiet, central location a short walk from the train station. An attractive building both outside and in, stylish decor (especially the dining room with its carved wood ceiling features). My top floor room was also stylishly finished with lots of natural wood surfaces on show. Velux windows with remote control blinds did their job well both day and night. The hotel was extremely clean and all fixtures, bathroom and public areas very well maintained.

I only had a one night stay!

The location was fantastic! Close to the Zermatt train station, as well as midway between the two slope access stations Sunnegga and Matterhorn Express. It was a three minute walk and an elevator ride to the free bus which serviced both ski areas. We had a self catering studio that was large and really well equipped including a hot plate and oven. There are grocery stores 10 minutes walk away but also a small well stocked convenience store less than five minutes. Very close to the main drag we had plenty of options for restaurants. The spa and sauna were wonderful after a long day skiing. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We were extremely happy with our accommodation!!!!

The pillows weren’t great

This hotel is amazing, very nice staff, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, from what I saw balcony with every room, we also had a nice view. But if I had to pick one thing, it is the spa, brand new and very nice. Location again 10/10

One pain point for me was the lack of AC, but that is quite common in Switzerland and Zermatt is high up so it did cool down for the night, with open windows it was still comfortable. If it had been warmer, not sure if it could have been a problem.

We loved everything about this property. We had a beautiful studio apartment which was perfect for our three night stay in Zermatt.Our room was located I the Ritz Chalet and was outstanding. The size of the room was perfect for two and was exceptionally clean and well equipped, allowing us to self cater if need be. Within walking distance to the Main Street with many cafe and restaurants. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Zermatt.

That we couldnt stay for longer in this beautiful part of the world.

We are forever grateful to the Matterhornblick for evacuating us from their hotel during this summer's flood which filled their basement and caused them to lose all power. They arranged for all of their guests to stay in another, more luxurious hotel at the same price as the Matterhornblick, and found a chef to make dinner for all of us in the new hotel's kitchen which wasn't normally open for dinner. With the roads and train still cut off, we were also allowed to stay for a second night at the Matterhornblick's rate. We will never forget their service and generosity in spite of all of the damage they must have suffered to their property. It speaks also to the values of all of their staff and to their owners. The hotel is in an ideal location, and I hope everyone will consider staying with them as soon as they are able to reopen.

The rooms are big and bed very comfortable. Hotel is very well located less than 10 min walk to all activities. Spa is 4 stars and super clean Love the fresh cut ham for breakfast. And free coffee in the lobby all day I saw many negative comments about the owner, but felt he was nice and straight to point.

only comment is that they should let us know before arrival about the taxi service they provide from the train station to the hotel

Everything was wonderful. Room was spotless clean and comfortable . The big brown chair was the best part of the room. Best place to relax after a long day. Staff is friendly and nice.

The only negative thing is that the church next to the hotel loves to ring their bells . 15 min before full hour they start ringing their bells non stop 10 -15 min straight. Absolutely horrible, but clearly hotel can not do anything about it .
