The breakfast was good - great variety and latte! The spa was wonderful and the personal touches in the rooms including hand written welcome notes, room amenities and toiletries were a nice touch as were the goodies in reception after a day out.

The hotel advertisement shows a nice lounge area with a fireplace. Unfortunately it was a smoking parlor so unless non smokers were prepared to sit in and put up with second hand smoke it was out of bounds. There wasn’t really anywhere else to sit relax and read etc. It seems to me that the parlor was big enough to have a smoking and nonsmoking section to accommodate everyone. This was really the only negative of our experience at the hotel.

Beautiful room with lots of space. Staff were lovely and helpful in picking us up from train station. Bed was so comfy. We were early checking in and they took care of our bags and even put them in our room whilst we were exploring. Very clean and room service was perfect. The breakfast was amazing with so many options. The Thai restaurant inside was so good and perfect when you didn’t want to travel far to eat. Very close to train station 5 to 7 minute walk. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was sublime and the saunas too. We loved our stay here and were so happy we booked it even though it’s a little pricey. Perfect views of Matterhorn waking up in our room. Was a dream! Would highly recommend!!

Everything was so good that is hard to start to write about. Staff is amazing and helpful. They provided a car to pick me at train station. Rooms are big and bed are very comfortable. Very good bathroom. Hotel extremely well located nearby everything in Zermatt. Variety of food for breakfast. Spa is excellent, perfect for relaxing after a full day walking. The pictures you see on Booking don't say exactly what you get, it is much better. 10/10

Very friendly staff in a charming spot of Zermatt. Can't be any better. Have a very nice wellness (there was a small hickup in the dampfbad and we quickly fixed it together ;-) the staff was so friendly. The wellness is a dream are. Excellent dinner opportunities. We at at the Thai and at Fuji. Excellent.

Only minor comment: I've done many Swiss breakfasts, this one was just ok, but could easily beefed up a bit, for 4*.

Breakfast in the hotel was fine. There are three restaurants there, a French one, a Thai and a Japanese. We ate in th French one (l'entrecote) and the Thai and both were very good. Attentive staff and delicious food. The ski room was well equipped and we had a taxi each morning to take us to the various ski lifts. I would like to make a special mention for Sally and Alex who were on reception. I left a necklace in my room and Sally found it and posted it to me. I also had a massage in the Spa with Katie and that was marvellous.

The location and the amenities were very nice. It is almost central between the gondola to Glacier Paradise and the downtown shopping area. The Spa and pool were a welcome retreat after long days of touring and hiking and the heated bathroom floors were divine.

The front desk staff sometimes were not staffed. They were friendly and helpful when at the property, it was disappointing when they were not available during the day.

The hotel was ideally situated, close to the centre of the town and only a short walk to the bus stop where you catch the free ski bus. In common with most hotels, they arranged transport to pick us up from and drop us back at the train station. The hotel was comfortable, staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts were also very good. We tried the Thai restaurant in the hotel. The food and service were both excellent.

Staff was extremely friendly, easy going, and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. The facilities, including the gym, were well appointed, clean, and very well maintained. The bed was among the most comfortable I've slept in.

The door on the bathtub/shower was somewhat leaky. This is a very minor issue that didn't adversely impact my stay.

Breakfast hours at the hotel are from 7:30-10:30. We were there every morning at 7:30, and the options were impressive. Omelet station, cereal, yogurt, muesli, breads, juices, fruits, eggs, etc. Staff was super friendly. Proximity of hotel to the bus was great. Used it to and from skiing, although its only a 5-7 minute walk to Glacier Paradise/Klein Matahorn lift. And hotel is only a 3-5 minute walk to the main street (Bahnhofsttasse) where you’ll find a majority of the bars/shopping/restaurants.

Zermatt in general: If you want to eat, make reservations for lunch and dinner - and well (months) in advance! Places book up so fast, both on and off mountain.

This is a super hotel, charming, well situated. Good welcome by Alex at the reception, all staff friendly and efficient. High standard in all domains. Delightful cosy room with balcony and view, beautiful bathroom, copious, quality breakfast with a large choice.

I liked everything. (I did not try the restaurants or the spa, due to lack of time)
