The location was excellent. Since it is away from the busy Bahnhofstrasse, you don’t get caught up in the crowds, but at the same time, everything is within walking distance. The Matterhorn view was absolutely stunning. Especially in the afternoon between 2–5 pm, we enjoyed our coffee on the veranda during the coffee break service while admiring the magnificent view. Breakfast was superb, with plenty of both hot and cold options. There were even vegan choices available. The outdoor pool also offers an amazing Matterhorn view and is a perfect way to relax after hiking. The indoor pool, sauna, and snow room were also very nice and spotlessly clean. The room was very clean, spacious enough, and had an incredible view. A shuttle service is available from the train station, which was very convenient. On the day we checked out, we were still able to relax at the hotel after our hike while waiting for our train, and we even enjoyed the complimentary coffee service. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Without a doubt, we will stay here again on our next visit to Zermatt.

Lovely high quality and modern room, extremely clean, amazing view of the Matterhorn (both around the hotel and from my specific room), super helpful and friendly staff, very good breakfast. All the spa and wellness facilities you could want. The location is ideal, not right in the centre of all the chaos and noise but not right on the edge of town either.

Only thing was my room was quite persistently warm – which I totally understand, Zermatt is more so a winter destination than a summer one! The staff were super helpful and provided a fan and turned up the fresh air ventilation system to the max. By also leaving the windows open until bed, it was a comfortable temperature at night :)

This hotel is in an amazing location. We booked a room with views of the Matterhorn, which I would highly recommend. Being able to walk out onto the balcony doors and see that magnificent mountain in the comfort of our own room, was awesome. The beds are super comfy and the pillows great. We ate at the hotel restaurant once, and the food was all 5 star, the complimentary breakfast was great too. We made great use of the spa facilities and loved it. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast area is just out of this world with the glass roof and matterhorn view. I think the hotel has one of the best views of matterhorn in the village. The spa area is also great. If you are skiing/ snowboarding, they do have a shop in the basement, which is quite convenient. Amazing stay, definitely will stay here again if I'm in zermatt next time.

This place exceeded my expectations, even with the price. The room was spacious, comfortable and super clean, with a lovely big bathroom. The views from the balcony were fantastic. The staff were warm, friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The spa, sauna, snow room and outdoor pool were fantastic. Even the breakfast room was lovely. What was most appreciated was that the staff let us use these facilities after we had checked out so we could use up a few hours on a rainy day before our train back to Interlaken. Highly recommended.

Nothing - it was perfect :)

Everything. from the first touch to the last. Called on the train, they had a cab waiting for us at arrival. Fast check in, rooms were ready at 9am already, even though we were supposed to check in at 16:00. They got us up the slope in no time and when we came down we got to enjoy the spa. No words, just wow. lost my key in the spa, no problem, got right back into my room. Dinner in the restaurant. Great price. Epic food. room was awesome. Not too hot as is often the case in ski resorts. Insanely comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing. Omelet was perfect. high quality food and a stunning view of the matterhorn. Nice ski lockers - Heated gear the next morning was a win. On checkout they stored our gear and even have shower facilities so you can freshen up before the drive home. Taxi service back to the train and left with huge smiles and incredible memories

We absolutely loved our stay at La Couronne Hotel & Spa. From the moment that we arrived to the moment we left, everything was perfect. The hotel arranged our pick up from the train station, which was a wonderful help, had our room ready upon arrival and welcomed us to a beautiful afternoon tea in their breakfast / afternoon tea room. The hotel is centrally located and has wonderful facilities, such as a spa room, sauna, ice room, and gym and we made use of them during our stay. We will be coming back to this hotel and recommending it to our friends and family.

In the perfect spot for the best Matterhorn views, as long as the mountain doesn’t hide in the clouds. Spend the extra for a Matterhorn view. The first two days you could not see anything. Zermatt is still stunning. The morning we had to check out, there it was in all its glory with a lot of fresh snow. I will never forget the experience of it! The staff were all wonderful, and the breakfast outstanding. A bucket list item checked off with an exclamation point!!❤️ The soda so wonderful as well. Loved the Snow Room.
