A very cozy hotel, the room is not large but very well thought out, everything is made of high-quality materials, and it's super clean. The staff is very attentive, well-trained, and responsive to all requests and wishes. A wonderful small spa with a perfect jacuzzi pool for relaxation. I recommend coming around 6 PM, as the main influx of visitors decreases by then. The breakfasts are simply amazing. We had dinner there once – everything was great as well, but it's best to reserve a table in advance. There is ski storage, but to avoid carrying them around, we left our skis in a ski locker right under the lift.

Hotel concierge and lounge is stylish. Room is modern, clean and well maintained. View from balcony is the majestic Matterhorn. Arm chairs provided in the room and balcony as well, so you can admire the gorgeous view either side. Love it very much Service from concierge is perfect. Hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from Zermatt station. They provide free shuttle to the hotel from the station so it’s hassle free especially with the luggages . Just need to inform hotel when you are coming from Tasch and their response are fast. Anyway there’s no problem walking from the village to the hotel, there are plenty of shops and restaurant to visit along the way Very grateful that hotel staff deco the room for our wed anniversary. As mentioned in my other review, not all hotel made the effort to set the room for their guest. Very much appreciated

Excellent service, excellent staff and very very welcoming people. They upgraded us without even requesting. The rooms were spacious and equipped with the best. The Hot water pool/jacuzzu and spa is amazing and very well maintained. Small play area around the main lobby kept the kids busy and happy all the time. Stayed there for 3 nights and the breakfast was amazing each day. We were vegetarians and they ensured we get the best. One of the finest hotels with nicest people I visited in Europe. Will definitely be back here whenever I travel back to Zermatt.

The view from the Matterhorn view was exceptional once the clouds cleared away, and the room was clean and very spacious. We really enjoyed spending time relaxing on the balcony and the wellness center was enjoyable to have after a long day of hiking and exploring. Breakfast selections were excellent and we enjoyed the special four course dinner provided on Tuesdays. Loved the complimentary shuttle from and to the train station which saved us a lot of walking and hauling our luggage back and forth. Wifi was good quality and didn't lag, staff was exceptionally nice, and we were in a good location near main shopping streets, gondolas, and restaurants.

Wellness pool/spa was a bit on the small side, but we had an evening where we were the only ones there, so it was nice. The second time there was a family with small children and it was too small to accommodate everyone comfortably, so we didn't go. Also a ceiling fan would have been nice in the room since the windows were closed to keep the noise from the birds from keeping us awake. We understand air conditioning is not necessarily needed in Zermatt, but it got stuffy when trying to sleep.

Beautiful bedroom with view to Matterhorn. Most of the staff is super friendly and the dinners included were of great taste and diversity of food.

Pillows were not good but reception sorted that out for us. Our bedroom was first floor and right above the restaurant which sometimes could hear the guests. For a more expensive room I was expecting better than that.

We have just returned to the UK from Zermatt and the experience of the town and the hotel was absolutely outstanding. We found Swiss people incredibly friendly, and of course the mountain scenery is out of this world. All team at the hotel, and Chris in particular, took excellent care of us throughout our stay. They were all super helpful attending to all of our needs. We booked a room with Matterhorn view which was spectacular! The hotel is located only 5 minutes walk from the main shopping and restaurants street, which was very convenient.

Although breakfast was excellent, I would pack some coffee if you are a coffee drinker. Rooms have a kettle, but sadly no tea or coffee is provided. There is a tea station few floors down which we found quite inconvenient, having had to walk few floors down just to make some tea, and then carry it back few floors up. The tea station has no coffee, how strange! Also, the TVs are quite oldschool with no way to link your Netflix account. The live TV signal kept hanging every couple of minutes which we found quite frustrating. Nevertheless it was a great experience and we would deffinitely return to Europe hotel. Although this time we would pack a laptop and some coffee :)

The staff were incredibly hospitable - and I mean everyone! From the shuttle to the front desk, the lobby bar, and the fine dining restaurant, everyone was warm, friendly, and eager to make you feel at home. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and especially well-suited for a family with two young boys. Most other properties will either suggest two separate rooms or a suite, which doesn't work as well. The highlight of our stay, however, was dinner in the fine dining restaurant - Ovis. The tuna teriyaki, in particular, was worthy of all 16 Gault Millau points for the exceptional restraint with which it was prepared. Our compliments to the chef.

My only feedback is that the hotel could do with better signage on the main street. We walked up to the address on Google Maps, but it took us a good five minutes to find the entrance. I think the wooden signboard on the main street said Schwarznasebar?

The staff are very helpful and friendly . Such as Caspar and Katina . The morning breakfast is excellent and the facilities are clean . We enjoyed our stay very much ! The Spa facilities were also excellent. Strongly recommend this Hotel as they have rooms that have the full direct Matterhorn view. Will stay in this hotel again if we visit Zermatt again.

The hotel is away from the Main Street & was quiet. Our room was extremely clean & we had a perfect view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Really enjoyed the spa, it was amazing & relaxing. Breakfast was out of this world! By far the best we’ve ever experienced! They had a huge variety to choose from. I was sad to leave & I never say that about any hotel! Can’t wait to visit again in the future!!!

There’s nothing to not like about this property!

Staff was so friendly and helpful. The view of the Matterhorn from our balcony was amazing, but unfortunately it was cloudy almost the entire time which made it not quite worth the money.

Sauna was only open from 3-8pm, would have been nice to have it open longer hours. The room was also extremely warm so we had to sleep with the door open.
