Clean, modern room decor, good location, transport to and from the train station was great, ski room with heated boot storage, decent value for the area.

It was much too hot in the room and there was no way to make it cooler other than opening the doors and windows which isn't ideal at night because it can be noisy outside and then eventually it gets too cold.... Also the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. They said they have a "Pillow Menu" but that is not true. The breakfast was very mid. Same thing every day and none of it was good.

Very clean and cosy room, in the decor a lot of wood, well and ingeniously used surface. I appreciate the presence of a coffee maker in the room with the possibility of preparing tea (coffee, tea provided by the hotel at no extra charge). Tasty and varied breakfasts, available from 7:00 hour, which will be appreciated by people who want to hike in the mountains. The hotel is intimate, in a quiet place, not far from the train station and the centre of the town. Very nice staff. Zermatt and the surrounding mountains are incredibly beautiful. In my opinion, the price-quality ratio of service is adequate. I would love to come here again!

There was nothing like that.

Location was great, super close to the main strip but far enough from the church to not suffer the incessant noise of the bells that ring for 15 mins at a time. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. One morning another guest took our ski boots for reasons only known to them but the hotel manager arranged for rental replacements immediately and even drove us down to get them so that we didn’t lose more time skiing. The whole team were attentive and helpful.

It was a little far from all of the ski lifts if you’re walking in ski boots so I’d recommend going down in shoes and putting your boots on when u get there and chucking ur shoes in a rucksack to ski with. The breakfast was a tad limited too but did the job.

The view was soooo beautiful. You get a proper view of the Matterhorn if you book the room with the Matterhorn view.

everything was good, they could maybe change or upgrade their decor and equipments and electrical appliances but I guess the old decor just adds to the towns nature itself. I personally like newer hotels more as they feel cleaner but it’s just my opinion. Everything else was 10/10

Location is great, especially if you are planning (you should anyway!) to book for the Glacier Paradise; you can just walk your way to the first lift station. Staff were so kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good!

Just make sure you have a suitable international power adapter, check with reception before you go. I had a very good one which would work everywhere, but still failed their weird socket 😅

The breakfast was okay, not fantastic. Christina at the front desk was excellent! She gave me 2 maps of Zermatt and marked out the Gornergratbahn station and the Gondola station of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. She was the best of all the staff at this hotel.

I asked for a memory foam pillow, and was one that was too hard. When I tried to exchange it, the front desk staff(cannot remember his name) told me that's all they had. But when my friends went to request for the same type of pillows, they were given brand new ones, which was exactly what I had wanted!

It is very rare that I would rate a hotel as perfect but Hotel Aristella deserves that rating. The staff are warm, friendly and ever so helpful. The rooms are perfectly clean and simple and supplied with everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. I particularly like the extras that make staying here, very special. For instance they have a menu of different types of pillows to choose from. And small drying racks in the bathroom for personal hand laundry. The complementary breakfast and coffee service is very tasty and good value. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Zermatt to stay at this lovely hotel.

Great staff. Chloe was super great and soooo kind. She’s absolutely wonderful and welcoming. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Great price for what you’re getting. Great location. All was great. Thank you.

Beds were separated (two twins attached) I prefer to sleep on one king if we are a couple. But each to its own. Thank you.

The hotel had a great location central to most things. They had a nice ski locker with a large boot drying rack. The breakfast was fantastic. It had a lot of different offerings every morning including made to order omelets and pancakes as well as an automatic coffee machine that made everything from espresso to cappuccinos. They had an excellent relaxation room that had a sauna, steam room, individual whirlpool tubs and a lounge room with complimentary tea.

The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't have a large hot tub. They have an excellent outdoor deck that would be perfect for it.

This family run hotel is in a very good location for the centre, station and train/lifts for access to the mountains. It is beautifully appointed and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It has its own restaurant which is very high quality. The breakfasts are also excellent in quality and choice. We had a top floor room with balcony overlooking the Matterhorn.

We can't think of anything we did not like about this hotel.
