Clean, comfortable rooms in the most stunning little town. Conveniently situated right next to the Tasch train station and close to a lovely little shop called Coop, with amazing food and groceries at great prices. Restaurants close by. Train ride to Zermatt is easily accessible, quick, and absolutely stunning. Beds are soft, the balcony is spacious (in the triple rooms), and there is bottled water and a TV. No kettle but hot water available in the lobby from an urn. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of foods to choose from, and really good coffee. Loved this little gem and would stay here again. Perfect for families.

Check in at 4pm is a bit late.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent—right next to the train station where the shuttle to Zermatt departs. That shuttle is the only way to reach Zermatt and see the Matterhorn in all its glory. The breakfast is excellent and included in the price, which made mornings even better. The hotel has its own restaurant, and there are more options just across the street, including a few grocery stores. The parking garage was a big win for me. I came by motorcycle, so I really appreciated the cool shade. From the garage, I could take an elevator straight to any floor of the hotel. The internet is quite slow, but everything else made up for it.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Täsch train station, making arrival hassle-free as we didn’t have to drag our luggage for a long walk. Täsch is a fantastic alternative for visiting Zermatt, offering a laid-back and peaceful environment away from the crowds and tourist buzz. The frequent train service between Zermatt and Täsch, with a travel time of just 12-15 minutes, makes it incredibly convenient to explore Zermatt while staying in Täsch. We also enjoyed starting each day with a delicious breakfast, which was a great way to fuel up for our adventures. The hotel restaurant Taescherhof is also a fantastic option for dinner. It offers authentic Swiss cuisine, allowing us to enjoy delicious local flavors without having to venture far.

It is common for businesses and hotels in Europe to use motion-sensor lights, particularly in corridors. While this is a practical energy-saving measure, these corridors are shared spaces, and it would be helpful to have at least one light consistently on to guide late arrivals and ensure easier navigation.

Great service and communication with hotel staff. Very nice rooms and THE BEST location, right next door to the train station. Parked our vehicle once (10CHF per day) and used the train for our three days of activities in Zermatt. Couldn't have been a better stay. We really enjoyed it and great price.

Everything including: price, location by station and close proximity to Zermatt, size of room, appointment of room, deep pile carpet, underfloor heating in bathroom, modernity of the bathroom & shower, extra large bath towels, breakfast, friendliness of staff ( see note below) and complimentary upgrade to the new part of the hotel.

Arrived a couple of hours prior to regular check in time and was told to come back later as they claimed they were fully booked the previous night. I know this to be factually incorrect due to prior correspondence with hotel, a manual check I made in the afternoon prior to see how many rooms I could still book and the fact 2/3 of the breakfast room was closed off. I just wished they had been honest and said we have to follow rules rather than blatant lies.

We absolutely loved our 2 night stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing, we got a complimentary upgrade to the apartment and that was just incredible!!! We are on a 2 weeks road trip and my girls (4 & 6) said it was their favorite place to stay! They loved the little secret rooms where they could hide. Breakfast was okay, dinner at the restaurant was okay as well. Definitely had better food before but the server at the restaurant (dinner) was fantastic. She was the only one serving all the tables and she did a phenomenal job. She kept her kindness and the smile on her face even though I can imagine how stressful it could have been for her. Location was the best! Right next to the train station! Parking was easy.

The hotel is right next to the train station to Zermatt. Parking is convenient, the entrance to the underground parking is right next to the hotel and the fee is 10 CHF, being allowed to let the car there after check-out until the end of the day. The room is modern, the restaurant has a good range of choices and very friendly and professional personnel. The breakfast though wasn't impressive, more on the minimalistic side. But the croissants with a good coffee made my day. Overall a good choice for a car trip to Zermatt.

The bathroom door couldn't be closed gently. It is also translucid, which is not the best choice when the entire family is on the other side. The breakfast could be a little more generous.

The staff was very accommodating. The location is next to the train tracks. With no AC you would need to have the windows open and so you hear the trains throughout the night. We slept fine with it but keep that in mind. One Restaurant employee was a bit rude, so we ate elsewhere. Dinner places in this town are limited but we managed.

Location, Price, front desk employees (all 3)were awesome. Helpful, accommodating, bilingual, friendly, I couldn't be happier with our choice. Hotel isn't perfect but the staff made up for the older quirkiness was great. Cute little town.

Located right next to the train station, which offers a 20 minute connection to Zermatt throughout the day. Our room was spacious, the bathroom modern, the bed comfortable. The balcony had a lovely view; alas February isn't quite the temperatures for spending much time on it! Breakfast had a good range. We had a meal in the hotel restaurant one evening, and it was delicious. Other evenings we ate in Zermatt, and the trains run until midnight so it's no problem to enjoy a relaxed evening there before coming back to the hotel.

Some of the "hot" breakfast items were going cold. (Granted we had breakfast near the end of the breakfast period, but still, late risers deserve warm sausages on their holiday too!)

This hotel's location directly across from the train station is incredibly convenient, making it ideal for short stays. We were particularly impressed by the stunning mountain views from our balcony, complete with the charming sight of passing trains. The genuinely friendly and helpful staff truly elevated our experience."

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall. The only minor issue was a slight odor in the hallway leading to our room, which may be related to the hotel's pet policy. Our room itself and the areas in front of it were perfectly fine. We also noted that the daily round trip to Zermatt is a bit expensive at 43 euros for a family of four
