Check In and Check Out was very straight forward. Location of this Hotel is brilliant, right across the street from Train Station with Shuttle Train to Zermatt, next to 2 Food Shops, yet despite Central Location it is still quiet for a good nights sleep. Taesch is a beautiful village in itsown right. Breakfast was great, lots of Choice, everyone catered for. Travelling with my small dog and myself speaking both English and German I found all staff very pleasant, extremely helpful and customer focused. No wonder customers return here again and again. All in All it was a wonderful stay and I would certainly recommend this hotel to everyone

only small things, one of the Lightswitches not, working, and small Lift, but working well, nothing that would affect me or deter me from staying in this Hotel again, I would be very happy to stay in this Hotel again.

We stayed for a short night at this hotel and were very pleased with our experience. It seems the hotel has recently renovated its rooms, as ours felt fresh, modern, and even had a new smell. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and beautifully designed, and the room included a cozy living area with a couch and coffee table. Breakfast was included in our stay, but unfortunately, we didn’t have time to try it. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, right in front of the Täsch train station that connects to Zermatt. While the hotel appears to have its own parking, we weren’t sure how to access it due to our late arrival. Thankfully, we had already reserved a spot at the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch, which is also adjacent to the hotel. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a more affordable option near Zermatt. It’s an excellent place to stay with great amenities and a convenient location.

The room was spacious and the breakfast was complete and very good. The rooms are rustic, but that is because they are built like a ski lodge. They were clean and comfortable. Staff members at breakfast were great and helpful. The hotel is right across the street from the train station that goes to Zermatt which makes it very convenient for those that arrive by car and don't want to worry about parking outside of Zermatt or dealing with luggage inside of Zermatt. Though the real prize city is actually Zermatt - which provides access to the tram to see the Matterhorn and the better shopping, we would do it this way again because it was obvious how difficult it was to navigate parking and luggage within the city of Zermatt. The drive from Bern was beautiful and very interesting, including an unexpected ride on a train car to go through the mountain. There is no signage in English in Switzerland, so those that need it, should use a good navigation system that lets you know where you are and what is coming up. Still, we had no idea we had to drive onto a train and experience a 20+ minute ride through the mountain. (But it was very cool - just be prepared to pay the 35 Swiss Francs for the ride!) We went to Zurich on our return so we went a different route, but it was a similar experience. Beautiful countryside - but don't be in a hurry!

The parking in this hotel is a challenge. Of course, we never left the parking lot during our stay because we just took the train into Zermatt, so it was just the initial parking and the exit. The ramp is so steep that my low-horsepower rental car almost couldn't make it up the ramp which also included a very sharp turn that needed to be navigated while "getting a run" at going up the ramp. It was really the only negative part of this stay, but that is a small matter.

Lovely, spacious room and fantastic location for getting the connection to Zermatt. Breakfast was great and the rooms were clean.

The property offered to ‘store’ our luggage after checking out, however we only learned on the day that this meant leaving our luggage in the back hallway of the hotel where it could have been taken/moved by anyone walking passed. If we knew there was no dedicated space for storing luggage we would have found an alternative option.

Everything.probably the best place I stayed at throughout my whole trip in Switzerland. Staff was amazing, friendly made sure we were welcomed. There rooms were amazing and plzz the view was beautiful from the balcony. Breakfast was sooo good such a good variety of food. Plus location is soo good- right infront of the stations and next to a few shops and restaurants. Would definitely book another holiday just to stay here.

We have dinner at the facilities and it was really good as well as the breakfast. The service was outstanding. We had a problem with the starting engine of the car and they help a lot to find the right spot for the car and help us with all the process. Very profesional service. Location of the Hotel is perfect to go skiing at Zermatt.

The bathroom are a little bit out of fashion but very clean and excelent shower.

Perfect location next door to train station, had nice little room with all we needed and a little balcony. Staff were lovely with my son and even let us in early before check in which was so useful for us as we could enjoy the whole day!

Think we could have had some more tea/coffee etc and milk for the price paid. Think I had one sachet of coffee and one of whitener.. No tea.

This review is written by an Indian 🇮🇳 traveler who visited the facility with the family. - Location is just 3 minutes walk from Tasch railway station and 12 minutes by train from Zermatt railway station. - Property is old but well maintained and room size is big compare to new hotels. - Nice view from the balcony. - Value for money. - Good breakfast.

Reception is not available after 7 pm. - Balcony is common for 3 rooms which is not a problem but little strange.

Right next to Horgen station with direct 30min ride to airport. And 20 minutes ride to Zurich HBwhere one can get to just about anywhere in Switzerland. Plenty of amenities like Coop & eateries adjacent. Hotel is clean and very suitable for holiday makers. Breakfast was very mediocre.

Everything was perfect. We had a great time. The staff is very friendly. And we can recommend it wholeheartedly to everyone, especially to people travelling with pets. It is a very pet friendly place! Thanks for all the staff for the excellent time!
