Breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfy. The blanket was fluffy, which made the sleep so much better. It is close to Zermatt and other hiking trails.

In the evening, people were talking loudly (if you plan to go to sleep early, like us), which kept us awake.

The receptionist was lovely, the location is outstanding with incredible views from the balcony. The room was comfortable and very clean, the hotel was calm and respectful to all. Having a balcony was amazing, and the staff gave out air con fans as the weather was very hot for a while! There is no TV in the rooms, but there are TV communal areas, but you don't need a TV here with such views and places to visit. Location is about 10 mins from train station that takes you to Zermatt/Brig/Montreux/Bern. Loved the room. Loved the shower even more. In my personal top 3 of hotels I have visited. The ONLY thing I would suggest, is to have a small fridge in each room as that would be good to keep food and drink cool or stored well. But absolutely nothing else - everything was 10/10 for me.

I absolutely loved how effortlessly reachable this place is—just a 15‑minute walk from Visp train station through a charming little town that feels straight out of a postcard. Our room with two separate beds perfect for friends or family traveling together. The simple, warm décor gave it that “at home” vibe, and our balcony overlooking the garden quickly became my favorite spot. Everything—from the soft, warm lighting to the spotless shower—felt pristinely maintained.

While the shared kitchen setup (kettle, fridge, microwave) was handy for storing our groceries, I did miss having complimentary tea or coffee available—especially when you’re winding down after a day of exploring. It’s also a bit on the pricier side, but having returned for a second stay already, I’d say the comfort and quiet atmosphere make it worth considering if your budget allows.

It’s really clean. Very friendly staff. Huge room. Big table. My room got 8 single beds. But no coffee and tea and kettle and small fridge. Even shared bathroom but still very clean. Thanks for the cleaners. Nice view from window. Three big cherry trees in the front of building were the highlights. Quiet and piece place because a little bit far away from the train station. I think this room is suitable for a group of young people who wanted save some money and shared a room.

No kettle or coffee and tea available. No small fridge for cold drinks. Location was about 17 minutes for walks to the train station. 20 minutes with luggage.

As Visp is very small, so the hotel is a walkable distance from the center and the railway station (approximately 10-15 minutes). For me the location was perfect (just next to the Visp Hospital). It also has a nice view of the mountains, which I enjoyed especially during breakfast through the big windows. The breakfast itself had everything I needed for my stay and the ingredients were of high quality (especially bread and cheese), coffee was delicious as well. I liked that there is a common area with a microwave, a kettle and so on - so if you need to heat your own meal, there's such an option as well. The bed was very comfortable! I also want to thank the staff who was very helpful with changes to my stay - I really appreciate it. One thing to keep in mind (which was not a problem for me at all as I wanted to be near the hospital) - the hotel is straight across the hospital and the helicopter was landing on hospital's roof a few times a day. The windows reduce the noise very well though so it was not the issue for me.

I liked the hotel and honestly think price-quality ratio here is very good. Maybe one piece of feedback would be some warm options for the breakfast (like sausage or omlette) and more vegetables. Other than that - all great.

This place is located in a very interesting area at the edge of the town, on a hill with views of the valley, a vineyard, and some quite nice surrounding homes. The location, organized in a former seminary, is fairly modest. The building is large with extensive corridors, but the rooms are small. They are clean and very basic. However, if you read the description carefully before booking, you’ll know exactly what to expect. The staff remains polite, unobtrusive, and fitting for this setting. What’s interesting is the hassle-free and free parking in front of the hotel, as well as a place where you can prepare your own meals and get coffee, tea, or beer at almost any hour. For Swiss standards, the quality-to-price ratio is very good, though.

If you happen to get a room near the open TV lounge—yes, an open TV lounge because the rooms themselves don’t have TVs, and there is a quiet hours rule—you might hear the evening news and children’s voices until around ten o’clock. In such a case, you can make use of the balcony, which I believe should be a standard feature for the room. You can even smoke there, as ashtrays are provided.

The facilities in the hotel were very nice and they upgraded my room on arrival. The rooms were well appointed and it was good to be able to open the door out onto the balcony and look at the surrounding hills and mountains. I enjoyed the stay in Visp very much as it is a lovely old town with great local atmosphere, including the locals gathering in the main square on Friday evening with stalls selling local food and a school band playing good music. Very easy to take the train to Zermatt for a day trip and lots less tourists in Visp. Also the hotel has a good dinner menu which I took advantage of on the evening after I returned from Zermatt.

While the hotel is a 10 minute walk uphill from the station it was not too difficult.

This place was fantastic! The room and all the hotel's common areas were impeccably clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable, and the internet was fast – perfect for catching up after a day of exploring. Plus, the location is just idyllic – peaceful and quiet, with beautiful rural views of trees and grazing lambs right outside the window. It was excellent value for money, and I'll definitely be staying here again whenever I'm in Visp.

While the hotel itself was lovely, the distance to Lonza was a bit challenging, especially after a long workday with a heavy laptop bag and bad weather: raining cats and dogs.

My stay at the hotel was good! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, it's only a 15min walk from the trainstation and puts you through the city center and old town. The breakfast is also a good one, a good amount of choice and value.

The downside of my room was the noise from the hallway and neighbouring rooms. The walls seem to be quite thin and noise travels far.

Very kind staff and very easy check-in and check-out! Structure was very clean and 15 mins from the train station. We loved to see the helicopter landing in front of our bedroom! Perfect the bike parking closed with security code!

We were expecting a single double bed, but we got two separate beds anchored to the wall 😅 The cleaning people were very loud in the corridor starting 7 am on Sunday
