Great localization very close to fairs (Essen Messe) and some restaurants. You can find coffee express and tea kettle in the room. Nice and clean rooms, access with digital code anytime you want (to the hotel and to the room).

Very loud road with traffic next to the hotel. Remember to order breakfast in advance otherwise you can be surprised in the morning ;-)

Conveniently located close to the highway to Dusseldorf, good for our daily comute to an exhibition there. Small place with character. Our first room (a junior suite) was not a good experience - the cleanliness was very poor, it seemed very dusty, some of the curtains were not fixed on their place and they were greysh… The design was interesting (open shower directly from the room, sink in the room) but the execution very poor if you looked at some details. I had the chance to see another room’s interior and we asked for a change for the second night. Completely different story in terms of aspect and cleanliness. So, the finall impression remained a good one. The host was very friendly. I hope she fixed the first room issues based on our feedback. I appreciate that she arranged for us a very early breakfast the morning we left. The breakfast saloon small but cosy, balanced assortment of food, omelett on demand, everything delicious.

The first night was not so good - the self check-in system without any person to interact plus finding a not so clean and very cold room (it took an hour to get warm after we started the heaters) did’t give us a good feeling on the place. Fortunatelly this was fixed for the second night after discussing with the host.

I loved the big room, large bed size and nice bath room. The morning buffet was excellent, lots to choose from. Also the staff was very kind and helpful.

The heating system didn't work in my room, I called the permanence and he tried to help me or to give me a solution. The other day he came by to check the heating/airconditioning which was something wrong with. As result they gave me a voucher to stay another night whenever I want to with whom I want with. The staff did great trying to help me and giving me alternatives.

Big, comfy bed, very friendly man at the reception who helped with lots of things and extended my checkout, big size of the room with high standard, small kitchenette in room, checkin fully electronic, close to Messe and other big companies, small but tasty breakfast

Nice spacious room and huge bathroom with all the facilities. Easy check in and out. Close to a busy street but when windows closed we could not hear any noise (except for the hallway next to our room) and there is an air conditioning. No parking available but we were lucky to find a spot on the street right next to the hotel.

The sound isolation could be better, could hear sounds from the hallway.

The continental breakfast offered a reasonable variety of items. The coffee at breakfast was very good. The double glazed windows and the heavy curtains were good at keeping the street noise out.

There was no small refrigerator in the room to cool drinks. The bath was impractical; a shower cubicle would have been more useful.

The rooms are very spacious and individually decorated not like large multiple hotels. Breakfast is continental and make sure you book it

The room was modern and spacious, even with air conditioning. The hotel was quiet and our baby of 10 month slept perfectly. Usually we never book breakfast and just find something outside but in this case we are glad we last minute decided to add breakfast to our booking. It was very clean and there was definitely something for everyone. We would come back here anytime.
