I loved the rooms, and how accommodating the property was, I was actually late for my check in time due to traffic in Johannesburg , but they called me and offered to even wait for my arrival, even after how strict they are about the check in time.

Nothing. I have to be honest on this. I don't know how many times I've been to Hartbeespoort... but this past weekend was one of the first time's I ever felt like a local residence, probably due to how well I am familiar with the area, so their location was honestly awesome for me. It was so easy to get around everywhere, if I have to have any issues, they should be with the local municipality or government due to the roads and streets being in bad condition in some of the areas.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was beautifully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and even with our last-minute booking, everything was handled quickly and efficiently. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience and would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

The place is very beautiful but we did not enjoy our stay as the owner of the place did not allow us to sit by the swimming pool, to swim and enjoy our drinks. This was a very bad experience as we were forced to go to the streets to go enjoy ourselves there. It was the first time around harties having to experience such. He said he was selling alcohol but he did not have any of our beverages that we could settle for.

Our stay there was terrible, I feel sad as I wanted to enjoy myself as it was my birthday

The lodge was centre for every place we wanted to go. It was neat and staff was really friendly Lincoln is amazing, mr Yes, please,thank you! Sis Thandis breakfast was mouthwatering and deliciously out of this world. Everything was just so great. It did not take the cleaners long to clean our room, we went to eat breakfast and when we come back to get ready for exploring our room was already cleaned. Amazing 👏

Absolutely nothing.

The property was clean. The host was amazing. It’s clean, it’s beautiful. The location is suitable. You able to visit all the place you need to. The place is just amazing everything is up to standard. Very very good place. Will definitely be going back again there

The fact that I didn’t spend more time in it. Lawlz I’m going to definitely go back again there and spend more time in the place. There isn’t anything to like about the place it’s fantastic

Facilities were amazing and location is extremely convenient, everything is nearby.

Staff member had a spare key to access our room and barged in at 08:30 in the morning to see if we've checked out yet.

Very spacious comfortable room. Bed was great as was the shower. The owner, Manie, was wonderful. Unfortunately, we had to check out early however if we ever return to Hartbeesport, we'd definitely consider staying here again.

The lights on the TV and the Air conditioning unit are so bright its almost impossible to have a solid sleep.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were good and the Pool was equally good. the owners were very kind and always ready to provide any support. It is a quit place with great privacy

They don't make meals, except Breakfast, which brings challenges during festive season, as the majority of restaurants close, but this is a smaller issue compared to all gains

I am admittedly biased, since the original house was designed and built in 1960 by my frandfather Casper Krüger, great-grandson of the legendary Paul Krüger, which the present owners have subsequently converted into the 4-star Kassaboera lodge. Having grown up here, several of my cousins and I recently used the occasion of a family reunion to return to this grand old home to rekindly fond memories, wondering if the intervening 60 years had altered any of our recollections at all. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover that the present owners, Manie and Amanda, have done an excellent job here in the restoration of this special place! All the charm of the original house remains, with the high, thatched roof and spacious interior, but now with modern luxuries and conveniences added, such as the beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. From here it is still possible to undertake long, leisurely strolls along the lake. Now I am happy in the thought that this remains one of my favorite places on earth.

Loved everything about it.

I really enjoyed our stay. The place is beautiful, well kept, close to amenities, lovely and spacious rooms, lovely staff and beautiful view. The staff is super nice, and they make sure you feel welcomed. We’ll definitely be staying with them again when we’re in the area.
