Christiania is an older Vail hotel. Great location at East end of old town of Vail. Easy walk to anything. Town shuttle takes you all over town. Room good value and very comfortable. Had an outside deck facing the ski mountain. No A/C but box fan provided...wouldn't be an issue for skiers...only mid-summer. Pool and hot tub (outside). Breakfast extra but served in hotel and catered. Parking if needed at $20 a day (we got surprised). Rooms good and updated. Have stayed here multiple times off-season.

A/C would have been nice, but open door/window to deck compensated. Every other service provided.

Location of this lodge is perfect - steps away from Gondola One and so many lovely restaurants and shops nearby. The European decor and furnishings are charming and the lodge has a wonderful atmosphere. The hot pool is wonderful and at a good temperature. The man at reception was super helpful and kind. We were so pleased with our stay and think this place was good value for money.

Only suggestion is for breakfast to start at 7am (rather than its current time of 8am) so keen skiers can get on the slopes early.

Charming Bavarian property with so much character! Couldn’t be more convenient location to the village. Ski to the door and come right in to drop off skis and boots in individual boot dryers. Head upstairs and have an apre ski drink at quaint Sarah’s lounge. The outdoor heated pool was lovely with beautiful view and the beds were super comfy after a long day skiing. I would highly recommend this property:)

Despite it was a little bit old (just from age of the building) it was super clean and well maintained. We felt comfortable to stay over night and bathroom even had daylight. The staff was very friendly and solved a small challenge fast and customer oriented. This gave us a great feeling to be a valued guest. And ... Vail is a fun place.

Not the newest one but has real charme like a Swiss Alp hotel.

Authenticity, felt like we were back in the Alps. The full sized swimming pool hot tub was amazing. The only place in Vail Village with real old world charm. Great lounge opportunities in Sarah’s Bar.

The walking path from the ski room is in pretty bad shape. Some more flagstones would be helpful. We came at the end of the ski season so perhaps we missed typical evenings, but it was sad that Sarah’s Bar was so empty.

Enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and listening to the sounds of the roaring creek and the smell of the trees. Easy walk to the Gerald Ford Amphitheater to enjoy a free outdoor concert. A large fan was useful in dealing with the warm room temperature. Discounted parking across the street for $20. The property met all of our expectations, because we have stayed there before many years ago.

Really nothing. This hotel is dated, but a integral part of Vail's history.

No Air conditioning so it was warm during the day but not bad at night.

The staff are welcoming and fantastic first and foremost! The coziness and feel of the place is wonderful. The pool is great location is phenomenal. Might be my favorite place in Vail now.

Would’ve been nice if the leaf blowers outside didn’t start so early in the morning. With your windows open it’s really loud and in the summer you want the windows open.

because of a fault in the hot water system we were up graded to a 2 bedroom condo and found this to be a very pleasant situation for us 4 travellers. Front desk ( not always manned) was super helpful and always was attentive to our requests …like to uncover the pool and replace spent light bulb etc……making our stay perfect

when front desk wasn’t manned …a sign saying the time when it would be manned…….

Old world charm, vintage Vail! All the employees make you feel welcome and special. It is secluded and quiet, despite it’s short walk to the gondola.

The lack of air conditioning could be a problem at the height of summer, but for us, there was nothing that we disliked.
