Excellent staff, food and location very central The property is stunning with lots of great touches from the furnishing in the public areas to the amenities (swimming pool, sauna, steam rooms and sun bed).

It was very warm whilst we were there 30c + no air conditioning so very hard to sleep at night. Appreciate that it is not always be so warm so installing air conditioning may not be cost effective or possible in such an historic building, but perhaps an electric fan could be considered for the room which might provide some relief.

RECEPTION staff Excellent /helpful and genuinely interested BREAKFAST -good standard /variety and very pleasant table service to bring Coffee ROOM -cosy and good bed SHOWER -always good/hot TV in Dining Room at Breakfast in the morning had Piste Camera and Weather on HOTEL had a Daily Briefing sheet that was very well received -Weather/Activities/Staff profiles POOL/SPA -Good -although the Pool Temperature was slightly 'cool'

BREAKFAST whilst it says 0700 -the cooked items some days were c0730 -but not a great issue as there were cold buffet to begin whilst waiting

This our second trip to Kitzbuhel and first time at this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful in every way. The perfect location for skiing and walking around town, delicious breakfast every morning and a great half-board dinner option every evening. The staff feels like family and you can tell how hard they work to provide a lovely experience. The sauna is great for couples looking to relax and the pool area is perfect for those traveling with kids.

Very good location, nice breakfast and friendly service at the reception & breakfast room. Sauna area for adults was pleasant after the day on the slopes. Room temperature very very warm (for many it could have been too hot).

Pool temperature rather cold. No conditioner in the room (by request I was able to have some) & powerless hairdryer. On a sunny afternoon when there was plenty crowd at the hotel restaurant terrace the service was surprisingly rude. But after almost shouting at us at entrance the waiter handled well the situation when we reported a sharp piece of plastic in one of the icecream portions.

The room had a beautiful view. The hours of sleeping are typical due to proximaty of a church which bells ring at 21:00 and again at 06:30. But that worked with my schedule and the charm. It was small, but I didn't need any more room as a solo traveler. Sometimes it feels wasteful when I am in a huge room by myself. This room was very cozy. The breakfast was delicious and location was 5 star. The restaurant that was in the hotel was delicious as well. I would stay here again or recommend it for sure.

Very clean and well maintained. Great location. Beautiful old features and great breakfast. Pool (although a little chilly!) was beautiful and sauna great. Staff helpful.

We found the room too warm, turned off the radiators but because of it being so central it was too noisy to have window open at night. Our room was above the restaurant and you could hear it. We had ear plugs luckily. We’d already moved rooms due to first room being below a restaurant (they kindly could accommodate this) so was slight shame had same issue again. I think this is just some of the junior suites.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The ambience was delightful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. The breakfast was truly five-star, and the dinner in the restaurant exceeded all expectations with exceptional flavors and presentation. I’m already looking forward to my next visit in March!

I loved my stay at Hotel Tiefenbrunner! Wonderful staff, beautiful property, comfortable and clean. Great amenities (spa, massage, pool, saunas). Convenient location that made it very easy to walk to the gondola in ski boots.

Only thing I would have liked was an indoor lock on the bedroom door. There wasn’t one which is something I appreciate having, especially as a solo traveller.

No water in the room No shower- only a bath with a hand held attachment….. trying to kneel in the bath to use the shower was not fun! Parking area very small The church bells could be annoying to some especially when it’s so hot in the room we had to have all the windows wide open

Great hotel all around. Superb spa and pool area, quiet saunas and enjoyable pool with very good water - no itchy eyes, even for our little one. Hearty breakfast, great service. Do go for the half-pension, the dinners are a treat and great value for money. Service is personal and friendly, very much appreciated.
