Originally we booked a room in a different location. And our stay was 2.5 weeks. Just happened that the room was facing a very noisy part of the street so I couldnt sleep till morning while my work starts at 7:30. I kindly message the staff about possible room change, and theblady on the phone upgraded us to a different building where our charming duplex apartment was located. While still 3 blocks fron the beach and all stores, it was located in a quite residential area. The apartment was large with plenty of space. All amenities were there for our comfort. I really liked the hospitality approach which made our stay very pleasant and comfortable.

The building didnt have laundry facilities which were in the process I believe

The "Hampton" apt location is convenient to Miami Beach, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping , South point Park/ Pier - all walkable. Both sides of Washington Ave also have public transportation buses and free trolley. The 410 square ft studio apt was cleverly designed into 2 separate living spaces- does not feel cramped at all. (The bedroom can be partitioned off from the living room/ kitchen by a sliding door ). Simple, modern - looking, comfortable and airy apt. A home away from one's home. Love the layout and "clean" minimalist design choices. The kitchen facility has most items to make it functional and comfortable during the stay. Great choice in the use of a multifunctional microwave / convection oven. Each floor has a coin- operated laundry room ( a perk).

On two of the nights, the next door " neighbor"( room 416) would blast high bass music usually around 9 pm. It was a bit disruptive to sleep.

Perfect location, nice apartment with everything needed. Modern furniture, good kitchen equipment and internet.

Only one strange thing happened during our stay which otherwise was perfect. The door was closed from inside somehow (not sure it was our fault or it went wrong) so asked the owner to open it with the key of the door, thinking that everyone has a key for his flat. The answer was: there is no key, order someone to fix it (as a tourist at an unknown place?!) so we had to pay for opening the door. Someone who was around opened it with a screwdriver and had to pay for it….. as a frequent traveler, such a thing never happened to us before. Elevator was not working on one side of the building , my parents have health problems using the stairs wasn’t so convenient for them…

We were satisfied with the apartment, very clean overall, good air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, pay-per-use washer and dryer outside, kitchen appliances work very well, very large refrigerator, large beds and views of Washington Avenue and also the owner was very kind and let us in few time before check in hour.The building's doorman, Aldo, was very friendly too.

My family and I have had some bites, I suspect they may be bedbugs.

Good location. The beach is in 2 blocks (very close). The bus stop is next to the building and you can go to downtown easily from there. Renovated apartment. Very clean. Extra towels were in a closet. No bed bugs.Communication with the host via messenger, no calls, I haven't even seen anybody from staff and I like it.

There was some sort of bad smell in the corridor near elevator first couple of days, but nothing in the apartment itself. One lamp didn't work above the bathroom mirror, but it really isn't a problem at all. Hairdryer isn't working, but I had mine. No oven.

Great location in south beach. Big and comfortable apartment. Near to grosseries and restaurants, beach, bus and free trolley Bed was comfortable and bathroom big Great wifi

Restaurant down stairs has music from 9am to 1am every day. It’s was great for us but if you want a quiet place don’t go. Some insects appeared in bathroom and kitchen, but not too much as old comments said. Light buttons were old and a bit difficult to press. Some kitchen utensils, fried pan and metal containers for over were missing. All those things can be solved easily

We loved the location. It wasn't far from the beach and shopping areas. It was very quiet despite being so close to the Ocean Ave. which is a street over. It really was a nice little apartment to stay at for our visit.

I'm assuming the guests before us were smokers because the room really smelled of cigarette smoke and they had also removed the smoke detector. We had to use glade plugins and Lysol spray to get the smell out, but there was still a lingering smoke smell that wouldn't go away. I wouldn't blame the property for that though.

The apartment was immaculate clean. It was cozy and just perfect for what we needed. There is no trash can in the kitchen and parking was my only complaint. The area was great to restaurants and stores. It was several blocks from the beach, which was a little misleading from description. We enjoyed our stay.

Parking was expensive and difficult at times. We did find a parking garage a street over that was cheaper and more convenient

A bit noisy, but not too much. The apartment faces Washington Avenue. If you’re a light sleeper, consider bringing earplugs or melatonin—just in case. If the host has apartments facing Pennsylvania Avenue, they are likely much quieter. As a heads-up, the apartment is on the fourth floor. Use the elevator, which is located in the middle of the building on the second floor.

Great location in the heart of the Ocean drive. However need to advise that our apartments were not same as on the picture but were changed 2days before arrival by staff. All equipment which was declared initially was the same in this apartment. Clean, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, convenient bed and enough space for our family. We had some issues during our stay, but staff reacted very quickly and was very helpful.

Noisy neighbourhood till early morning hours, but what can you expect if you leave just on Ocean drive between night clubs.
