We booked Deluxe Double Room with two Double Beds for 3 adults Excellent locatio, (Ocean ride, South beach), a free sun chairs and bicycles, nice and helpfull staff. Excellent restaurant inside the hotel: Osteria del Mar/Miami Beach . Highly recommanded.

Old fashioned hotel, rooms need urgent renovation.

The location is great right across the beach. Along Ocean drive many places to choose to eat and walking distance to fun bars.

I would hope staff at the front desk would be a bit more warm to guest. I checked out 6/10/25 and went to the front desk to check out. The front associate simply asked if I wanted a receipt and didn’t say how was your stay or thank you. I had minor issues like the toilet reservoir did not refill upon flushing, but it was fixed after asking to send someone to the room. The gym had a part of cable that was loose, but that was also fixed after maintenance was advised.

Excellent location and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and they offer bikes to use.

Washroom door is glass. Dont share a room with kids.

The property is in a great location, it is old but clean. The restaurant was very good. Staff was welcoming.

Most of the properties around this area are old and this is no exception. The rooms are very small, almost European size. Rooms are old as well but clean. We unfortunately had a fire alarm go off in the middle of the night which the hotel had to evacuate. We were outside in our pajamas from 3 to 430am until the fire department allowed us back inside. It was a gas leak in the restaurant which was closed for the remainder of our stay.

Location and staff friendliness are excellent.

The complimentary breakfast is of poor standard and I think takes a bit away from the positiveness of the hotel.

Friendly, smiling staff, especially Francesco, who was always accommodating and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem when we asked for something. Free beach towels and water bottles. Free bikes. Complimentary late checkout at 12 pm. Nice breakfast choice - pancakes, sausages, scrambled and boiled eggs, cornflakes, ham, cheese, apples, bananas, orange juice, and coffee. Pleasant music at the reception and the restaurant. Excellent location on Ocean Drive. Our room nr 509 was located on the 5th floor at the side of the building. It was quiet at nighttime. However, the windows are old and make a bit of noise on a windy night.

There were no small bikes at the hotel for our 7yo, so we couldn't enjoy them together as a family. They didn't have any small sizes to hire at the Lummus Park either. Small bathroom, not enough shelves to put our toiletries on. Thankfully, we had a hang on the door fabric organiser with us. The lift makes funny noises, but at least there is one if you need it. The restaurant is not the cheapest despite the 10% off for the guests. You only get your discount if you pay by cash or order some food. Full price for drinks if paid by card. There was no option to pay for a later checkout than 12pm. My husband would have liked a removable shower handle, but there wasn't one. It was difficult to wash out the sand.

Excellent service. Top-notch location, right on Ocean Drive, in the middle of all the activity, and a stone’s throw from the beach. Great places to eat all around, lovely vibe. South beach parking garage $20/day is less than a block away. It’s great if you happen to have a car. No in/out privileges: be warned (so you’ll pay $20 for each day or each part of a day that you enter and exit the garage). The staff at the Beacon South Beach are the absolute best! Nothing beats their excellent hospitality.

The room was kinda small for a family of 4, but it was manageable. The bathroom is a matchbox lol, but since it was just us, it didn’t feel too bad.

This is a cute older art deco hotel in a fantastic location on South beach. The breakfast is good with everything that a tourist usually expects. Bicycle rental is a big plus, as is the rental of towels and sunbeds for the beach. There is no swimming pool, but from what you can see on the mid and north beach (big new hotels with pools but in boring neighborhood) and considering the proximity of the beach across the street, you really don't need a swimming pool. The staff is trying their best with the otherwise slightly dilapidated hotel. We will definitely be back.

During my stay in Miami, I had the privilege of being treated like a family by Dafne, whose attention and care made our experience at the hotel unforgettable. Her genuine kindness, willingness to help, and attention to detail demonstrate rare professionalism and a huge heart. People like her not only represent the hotel well, but also elevate the standard of hospitality to an exceptional level.

I have nothing to complain about

Location was great. Historic art nouveau hotel right across from the beach on Ocean Ave. Free bicycles for 1 hour use. Staff was cheerful and attentive. We had an issue with the ceiling fan not functioning and someone came up in minutes.

Free Starbucks coffee 24/7; just plain black and hot water for tea. Only Lipton tea offered. Bathroom was small and functional, however, no soap provided at the sink. Had to reach over the toilet into the shower to use the body wash on the wall. A/C provided through wall unit was a bit noisy, but I like silence for sleeping. Breakfast was mediocre; toaster was not functioning, so no toast; scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, pancakes, cereal, apples, juice, coffee and water.
