The hotel benefits from a perfect location right on Ocean Drive, yet the room was perfectly soundproofed — a real advantage in such a lively area. It’s a true Art Deco landmark that architecture enthusiasts will absolutely appreciate. The breathtaking view of the beach and the unbeatable rooftop pool make it a standout place to fully enjoy Miami Beach. Several thoughtful touches added to the experience, such as complimentary lounge chairs set up directly on the beach and a free on-demand movie available on the TV. All of this came at a fair price point. The room, though small, was clean, smartly laid out, and well-equipped — comfortable and practical for a successful stay.

A few aspects did, however, take away from the overall experience. The so-called “included breakfast” was actually a $30 credit per person per night to be used at the hotel restaurant. Given the very high prices on the menu, it was difficult — if not impossible — to enjoy a full breakfast within that allowance. Regarding amenities, both the Wi-Fi and the smart TV didn’t work in our room on the 6th floor. Despite several requests to staff, the Chromecast function was never resolved. The air conditioning unit was also extremely loud, to the point where we had to turn it off at night in order to sleep. Lastly, we noticed repeated billing errors. It’s highly recommended to carefully check your charges — my credit card was charged without any clear reason.

This hotel offers very good facilities-coffee machine in room, super comfortable beds, faultless wifi, individually controlled a/c-along with a fantastic location in S. Beach Miami. The resort aspect is perfectly curated-with flawlessly maintained pool area, and excellent service & quality for poolside drinks and food. The decor is in excellent taste and accentuates the historic, elegant art deco style of the original architecture.

I have stayed here several times. When the hotel is fully booked, at peak times, things are less perfect than when it is quieter. Still, the management, once aware of issues, redresses them.

Nice well-maintained hotel with prime South Beach location close to all the attractions and action of Ocean Drive. Extremely good value for money!

Obviously the good locale and price came at the expense of the room size, which would have been fine if not for the insufficient storage and limited storage design … (e.g. little things like not enough towel hooks to hang in the bathroom for 2 people or the tiny wardrobe provided). This meant our living quarters became extremely cramped once all our suitcases were opened

The staff was excellent. Tanesha and Lucky at check-in, Jordan and Marcellus at the front desk and luggage, plus another gentleman, made this experience worth it. I go to South Beach yearly to unwind and relax, and we’ve normally stayed at a nearby Marriott. I can’t recall one good experience with staff over the last 3 years. Each team member here showed why we’ll be staying here again (the fact that I remembered their names)! This has a boutique hotel vibe under a big hotel chain name, which means quality assurance with the boutique hotel feel. Thanks to the staff for making this a great and memorable experience.

We didn’t eat at the property or frequent the bar. It was pretty empty - probably as a well-kept secret.

It was a good breakfast, the location is full of people, and the events are very close, for these reason the hotel is not a quiet place.

The Lady from the desk the night (thursday March 9th) that I arrived with my family, she was not nice and didn't look the reservation, she gave us the wrong room.

Room was very comfortable and appeals. The decor was lovely and modern. The lobby was very attractively done in a funky art deco style. The outdoor spaces were very beautiful and relaxing.

1) The TV didn’t work the 2nd night. 2) The gate to the entrance to our room didn’t work. 3) The bike rack with the electric bike didn’t open. 4) if we wanted a refill of decaf coffee at breakfast, we would have to pay for a 2nd cup.

We got upgraded to a suite and it had an awesome view and lots of space. Service was great and all the staff was super friendly and helpful. Restaurants are great, wished I jsed them more instead of trying others on Ocean Dr.

Bathroom and shower could use some more shelfs for personal items, same as closet. Closet only has hanging space but no drawers for other clothes. Requires to leave clothes in the luggage which is not ideal.

Even before we arrived, we were extended the warmest of welcomes. Nicholas, the GM, was extremely accommodating, kind, and professional! The hospitality was on point from start to finish. The location is perfect, the property is lovely, and the staff was a joy. The rooftop pool was such a relaxing, and picturesque spot. The main pool hosted a pool party on Saturday afternoon that was a blast! The breakfast was wonderful - shout out to the accommodating staff one morning when we were in a particular hurry to make it out quickly! Would 10 out of 10 recommend! We were visiting for a long weekend girls getaway, and the hotel acted as the perfect home base.

The Gabriel Good afternoon to the Gabriel South Beach Management Team. We spent a wonderful night at your collection located on South Beach where we celebrated our Anniversary. Your hotel was amazing, very modern, clean, neat, well organized and most important very comfortable; great job housing team!! The food and services were out of this world, great job to the culinary and restaurant teams!! I served in our military service for over 26yrs., during my travel locations globally, I stayed in some very elegant and sometimes not so elegant hotels. Your collection located in South Beach check every block of my/our expectations ever! We have many up coming occasions which will fit the ambiance of your great establishment. Unfortunately, we didn’t do dinner, but breakfast with the morning team were on-point; the food and services were the best! During our check-in process we came in contact with this professional “Mr. Watson, T.” what a great individual! The man was so poised and professional that we were flabbergasted in the way Mr. Watson handled our entire process. His personality and demeanor were overwhelming, his caring actions and attitude were beyond reproach. What a great manager! Mr. Watson played an intricate part in making our stay at your collection the best experience ever. We have many choices of places where we can stay, but your hotel offered us the complete vacation package! Thanks to ALL for providing such a great experience and memories.
