Location, security, availability of late departure and (limited) room change.

Poor safety features: shower is an accident waiting to happen—no support holds, hard entry and exit, bad glass design. Toilet height impossibly low. When using seated, knees higher than hips and no hand hold to help rising. False fire alarms one entire morning with no automatic summons of fire department. No individual control for AC and temp kept very low.

we had an ocean view room it was exceptional for the cost, we couldn’t have been happier. The staff was very helpful in every way, from parking to recommending local restaurants.

the elevator was a bit challenging, I think it was older than me,but it worked.

The best place to be next to ocean. Ocean view hotel, very large room its super clean and very luxurious.

The parking is not convenient.

I loved everything about the hotel. waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean was breathtaking. We both absolutely love the old elevators and would stay again when in South Beach

Everything was wonderful until we were awoken by repairs taking place at 3 am in the morning by the restaurant downstairs. The night auditor didn’t appear to know that construction at that hour is illegal. I will say he at least attempted to get them to stop. Where he felt short was not calling code enforcement. We had a long trip to our next vacation spot and we barely got any sleep due to the noise.

the location was very fun. lots of activity and easy access to the beach. The hotel has a unique charm that allows you to embrace the authenticity of the space. rooms are clean and white. great for solo travelers!

The room was very bright and clean…interior is a nice old building. Convenient to everything…was pretty quite for being on Ocean Dr.

Directions to the hotel take you to the alley out back. Elevator is old so we didn’t use it only but to move luggage…No fault of theirs it’s an old building.

Close to beach and restaurants

it was not easily marked to find. It doors are by a restaurant but the name was not on the door

The vintage style of the hotel. It had character. Staff were nice and helpful.

No microwave or kettle facility for customer usage.

location and ambiance. elevator is cool.

windows were old and whistled offering zero noise control from the street. Lack of plug locations for phones and such.
