A really nicely designed little boutique hotel in a quieter end of Ocean Drive. The rooftop pool was a great place to relax, even though the water was pretty warm so not quite the respite from the heat we thought it might be. The concierge who met us on check in was wonderful.

As it’s a small hotel, there isn’t the level of service you might expect. If you want ice for your room, you have to get it from the restaurant downstairs yourself and the same is true for drinks or food you wish to have on the rooftop lounge area. The daily housekeeping also only seemed to make the beds and change the towels which meant the floor of our room was pretty gross by the end of our 5 night stay. I had expected a little more for the price of the room.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel, just on South Beach but still very quiet at night, very close by foot to everything! They also have chairs for free at the beach, just in front, you can walk to the South Pointe Park and see the big cruise ships and the cherry on the top is the restaurant at The Local House that has the best food! We also ate at other restaurants around but the food at the Local House is just soo delicious!! And great people working there we loved everybody ... this made it a special place for us :) Thank you!

Everything was just perfect!

Location was great, the room was light and airy and the staff were so helpful. We were greeted by the owner/manager and she couldn’t have made us more welcome and her team did exactly same. A very relaxed vibe in the hotel which is exactly what we wanted for our trip. Pool area was great, although pool was small this did not matter and there was a lot of sunbed and seating options. Restaurant served good food and cocktails, but lots of options if you fancy a change within easy walking distance.

The location was excellent and the duty managers were extremely helpful. The roof top area was exceptional and had great views. The room was very clean.

It would have been nice to have had access to fresh drinking water in reception to fill up water bottles. The host at the entrance to the hotel and restaurant could have been more welcoming. When we arrived and were waiting for our room she reminded us that we should have checked in with her first before sitting down! Maybe she was just having a bad few days!

Property was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice boutique hotel away from the noise and crowds. Beach access with umbrellas available as well as a rooftop wading pool. Restaurant was is very good!!

We’re not informed until the night before that the restaurant would be closed for two days. Nor were we told about the construction noise that would start at 7am in the restaurant.

The location was superb and so was the staff. The cleanliness of the room was very good. Was not super noisy and we liked the area. The beach facility was also quite good from the hotel including the sunbeds were free. I would definitely go back.

I would hope to be a bit lower price as it was 350$ per night for two which is a bit much as its not a 4 star hotel with their own gym.

The location was fantastic- near restaurants, extremely close to the beach (with designated sunchairs/area), walking distance to the South Pointe park area. Central enough to be close to everything but still quiet. Excellent restaurant. Pool on roof.

The elevator was a little bit dodgy (slow/noises)- I would have preferred to have been able to take the stairs since the whole building was approximately 4 floors. Definitely not a bargain in terms of pricing.

Location was great, relatively quiet, close to the beach. The whole ambience is cool and friendly. Rooftop pool area is super cosy and welcoming.

-Just a few minor maintenance issues (elevator, automatic lighting in the bathroom was not reliable, etc.) -Minor organisational hiccups (Reception desk is a bit too "online") -The bar should be open an hour longer

Ignore any negative reviews and just book it. I was pleasantly surprised by this little hotel and LOVED my four night stay. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, the color scheme and retro decor calming, airy curtains opened up to private balcony (I stayed in the largest room on the third floor facing the beach. Room 12), there were beach chairs, towels and a beach umbrella in the room (WOW!!!). This isn’t a beachfront property but the beach is literally a three minute walk. Perfect. Recommend La Playa grocer around the corner for groceries and wine (south beach is so pricey to dine out). I would definitely recommend and return!

This is a solid three star hotel. Just a few things needed attention. Lightbulbs in one side lamp and in the bathroom were burnt out. Carpet was not vacuumed during my stay. I dined in the restaurant my first night. Strange service. The server approached me with an empty water glass and asked if tap water was okay (she was not holding a pitcher of water). I placed my order (one drink and a chicken dinner). The server didn’t bring me water until she brought out my drink (which took a bit but strange since the restaurant was nearly empty). I did not return to the on site restaurant or bar because of this experience. By no means did this ruin my evening (or my stay in the hotel) but possibly it’s a training issue.

Nice boutique hotel on southern end of Ocean Drive. 2 minutes walk to Ocean Drive, far enough to have quiet undisturbet nights. Super friendly and supportive staff both for hotel and restaurant. Food in the restaurant is excellent. Pool on the roof is small but accessible at nights also, unlike the sea and other pools the pool temperature is lowered automatically. 2 Minutes to the beach, just cross Ocean Drive and you are there, 5 minutes to South Beach park with beach volleyball courts and free outdoor gyms.
