The property was great. A very large property with lots of areas to walk and explore. Super for walking, interesting trails, beach access, many choices of areas to enjoy in the sun, choices of pools either for activities( noisy pool we called it) quiet pool, very fun looking kids pool, beach with nice sand and no seaweed. There was a nice big spa, a gym, on site pharmacy, oxxo store, gift shop all on the property. As well there is the best lazy river and 7 different a la carte restaurants. The staff was amazing and each building gets its own concierge - ours were Ruben and Stephanie and they were super helpful- booked us all our restaurants. Excursions can be booked as well as snorkelling/ scuba adventures. This was our second time - last time many years ago.All in all super great facilities.

The one thing we were not happy about was the prevalence of the coati and some racoons. The coati travel in packs and are into the garbage. Despite the regular reminders from the resort to not feed the animals, some people are .. and that makes it worse. The resort is aware of the issue and are working on better garbage cans . As well, the staff are constantly tidying and cleaning. The coati are pretty bold and are not bothered by people which is a concern. More work needs to be done to solve this problem before it becomes a major health and safety issue.

The pictures are an accurate representation of the resort. Karen with guest services was amazing! She helped us pull off a surprise engagement proposal for our daughter while we were there. The restaurants for dinner were excellent. Hannah did a great job helping us make the reservations! The nightly entertainment and rooftop bar was fun for our whole family. The resort is big enough that we were always able to get chairs at the beach or pool.

The restaurants fill up very quickly, so you have to make reservations right away otherwise you will be eating at 9pm every night. The rooms could use some updating on the furniture however they were still comfortable.

Fantastic All-Inclusive Experience at Grand Sirenis Resort and Spa! We recently stayed at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa and had a wonderful time from start to finish. The resort’s grounds are beautifully maintained — filled with tropical gardens, wildlife, and numerous pools — creating a really restful and secluded atmosphere. The food was a highlight for us. The main buffet offered a huge variety every day, with plenty of fresh fruits, salads, seafood, and international options to keep everyone happy. The a la carte restaurants, especially the Japanese and Italian, were a real treat — great food, wonderful service, and a chance to try something different each night. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed, from a mini-fridge restocked daily to a large soaking tub. The spa was a lovely spot to ease away stress, with a range of treatments in a tranquil setting. Overall, Grand Sirenis offers a perfect blend of relaxation, activity, and indulgence for couples. We’re already looking forward to a return trip. Highly recommended! 🌴✨ A special shout out to Erik Medina from guest services who made sure we had everything we needed during our stay and regularly checked in on us! Thank you, Erek!

The property is HUGE and spread out across a large section of beach and jungle. It’s beautiful, clean, and has so much to do on site. The pools are always clean and sparkly, the pool bars, well stocked, and bartenders and wait staff are very attentive and friendly. We spent a day at the spa, which is impressive! The food is EXCELLENT everywhere and it’s always fresh and hot. So many delicious options! Then the staff - beyond friendly, happy, and all had such amazing energy. We frequent Costa Rica and love the “Pura Vida” vibe there but at this resort, they embody positive vibes and ensuring everyone is always smiling and having a great time. Every building has a personal concierge which means you have someone overseeing your experience the entire time- probably why our issues were so quickly addressed. The beach was crystal clear and there was amazing snorkeling throughout the property. There's a serene nature trail where you can see sea turtle nests and venture out to a secret cove with it's own cenote! Even if you don’t snorkel, just shin deep we’re schools of tropical fish swimming in the shallow water. We had our 16 & 17 yo daughters with us and felt very safe the entire time. We also ventured off property twice and met people staying at some of the nearby resorts. Those people staying nearby all had service complaints or issues with the food, limited beach availability and cleanliness. We never do the same trip twice but we would return in a heartbeat. We can't say enough about the friendly and positive staff. They put a smile on our faces daily.

We had a few minor inconveniences but, to our surprise, they were rectified immediately. Issues with a TV not working or losing hot water for a couple of hours should be expected in an under developed country. We experienced both of these issues but the staff was already on it when we reported it. Night one there was a problem with our A/C but we swapped rooms with no issue.

This was our third third time staying in this amazing place, and definitely not the last. Everything was perfect. The resort itself is much improved after the renovations. The interior design was absolutely beautiful and everything felt very natural. We really liked the new cafeteria. The amount of food choices is so large we couldn’t even try everything, and everything we did taste was delicious. During our stay we discovered that we can eat breakfast in the restaurant on the beach. There was less food choices than in the cafeteria, which is understandable, but everything was equally as good. And eating breakfast with a view of the ocean is so special. We really liked spending time in the nature of Grand Sirenis, which is abundant. There are plenty activities such as snorkeling and bike rides. The beach itself is very clean and well taken care of. On one side there is a bay where there are plenty of colorful fish. We also recommend a bike ride that is provided by Grand Sirenis. Our tour guide was Cecylio and he was so funny and energetic. He showed us three cenotes around the resort as well as a botanical garden, all of which was beautiful. The service in the resort is professional and perfect. The staff is very friendly, patient, and helpful. All together we would definitely recommend this resort to everyone and we can’t wait until our next stay.

The quality of pillows.

The lazy river was awesome, drink menu expansive, and the overall relaxing feel was amazing! So much fun snorkeling right off the beach and seeing a cool variety of fish and even some fun coral and an eel! Lovely staff and overall the variety of activities was exactly what we were looking for! If you get to do a bike tour with Cicellio you scored he was super great, funny, and made what could have been a pretty average bike ride super fun! Room was large and super comfortable! Food was great and we had so so so much fun!

While this resort was exactly what we were looking for it did lack some of the "polish" of maybe a higher end resort. One day we had to get housekeeping back because they had just forgotten to mop the bathroom, but had put the cleaning stuff down so we couldn't really walk through it. The hairdryer didn't work and the online portal was hard to use and it wouldn't let me log in. Overall, we didn't let these details hurt our experience, but if you are looking for a totally seamless stay with all the polish and are going to be upset if something isn't perfect this may not be the place for you!

The facilities at this property were absolutely fantastic, offering us countless enjoyable moments by the nearby beaches and pool areas. The hotel staff, especially the housekeepers, were incredibly kind and attentive, making our stay feel like a dream come true—an experience that exceeded all expectations. The added charm of spotting monkeys, lizards, raccoons, and coatis throughout the hotel grounds made it even more magical. It was truly an unforgettable experience!

The hierarchical system at this property is a significant drawback. Even for a simple request or question, such as asking for the reception’s phone number, I had to wait until the premium customers’ issues were resolved or their requests were prioritized. Additionally, the humidity inside the room was somewhat bothersome, which affected the overall comfort of the stay. While these aspects were minor inconveniences, they did little to overshadow what was otherwise an extraordinary and memorable stay.

The area was huge, with two large pool areas, and the beach was beautiful, offering plenty of sunbeds in different spots. The lazy river was a big plus. The spa was lovely, especially the massage, although quite expensive. The room was spacious and cozy, including a bathtub. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were many different activities, making it a great destination for a family holiday. It was also an ideal place for solo travelers, it was easy to contact with other customers so you had company if you wanted. The evening shows were fantastic. As a big surprise, there was even a nightclub on the property! All drinks were included in the price and they were mostly surprisingly good! The area also had lots of different animals, like monkeys, which were fun to watch. Highly recommended!

Actually, the only downside was the food and the dining areas. I didn’t try the restaurants, only ate at the buffet. There were some dishes that were really delicious, but overall, the food was just okay. In my opinion, there were too many options, which affected the quality. The dining hall was extremely hot, everyone was sweating, and the air conditioning needs to be fixed to keep the area cool. Even some of the food was melting there, like the cheeses, which made them unappetizing. I also didn’t dare to try the seafood due to the heat.

We had a lovely 8-day stay at Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya. The impeccable service and pristine facilities contributed to our enjoyable experience. The variety of activities like beach volleyball, tennis, archery, and pickleball kept us entertained. We were delighted to encounter wildlife such as monkeys while exploring the expansive property, although it was slightly dimly lit at times. However, the reservation system for restaurants could be improved since it was difficult to book the times we wanted to eat at at the restaurants we preferred. Special thanks to Diana from booking.com for assisting us in securing a spot at the Mediterranean restaurant on our last day.
