One of the most scenic and romantic places we’ve ever stayed. This charming pension is nestled among rolling hills and fields, offering breathtaking sunsets and a truly serene, peaceful atmosphere. We had a lovely stay and truly appreciated the exceptional views and the exceptional hospitality. The peaceful surroundings made it a perfect retreat to unwind. That said, the accommodations are quite simple, and families with children might want to note that there are no specific facilities or entertainment options for kids. Although our 7 years old loved the place and Francesca has organized some beach toys for him, that really made him very happy. Overall, a great choice for those seeking serenity and natural beauty.

We recently spent 10 days in one of the lovely chalet/bungalows, set in beautiful grounds overlooking the sea and mountains. This is such a lovely, peaceful location, a perfect base for exploring but safe in the knowledge you have somewhere beautiful to return to after your day. We would frequently sit under the stars in the evening after returning from a meal out with a bottle of wine - bliss! Francesca was the most attentive and wonderfully quirky host, enormously helpful with restaurant bookings and recommendations (turns out we were both foodies so we were in good company!) including a local boat tour which was fantastic. Breakfasts are not to be rushed, sat on the long veranda musing the day ahead whilst enjoying a delectable spread of fresh fruit, breads, meat and eggs with fresh coffee is the way every day should start! We hope to return one day.

Nothing! The location is around 1mile from the main road, mostly on dirt track but it is easy to navigate. We even saw a wild tortoise!

Staying here was a truly special experience. Nestled in nature, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea, it’s the perfect place for anyone looking for peace, quiet, and a break from the crowds. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and charmingly decorated, and the whole atmosphere feels warm and authentic. But what truly makes this place stand out is Francesca – the heart and soul of the entire property. Her warmth, kindness, and attention to every guest make you feel instantly at home. The property is located in the mountains which is very peaceful and has beautiful views to the surrounding hills and the sea. The guests stay in small houses with two neighboring accommodations. The room and bathroom are very clean, beds are comfortable and the rooms are equipped with a small fridge, which is truly useful. The breakfast is rich and delicious, you can expect local cold meats, cheeses and bread, accompanied by zucchini frittata, yoghurt and fruits, eggs and croissants. Francesca is the perfect host, caring for all details and highly professional, at the same time warm and personal. Highly recommend to anyone looking to step away from the noise, wanting to relax and explore various beautiful beaches in the Costa Smeralda and Golfo Aranci area.

Would have been nice to have a simple dinner available as an option, just prepare for driving 15-20 mins to a restaurant or buying something from a grocery shop.

Excellent hospitality, service, facilities and breakfast on a stunning rural property with beautiful panoramic views. Accommodations are all two-unit stand-alone cottages which are well spaced out for optimal privacy on the large property. Francesca was very kind and always happy to answer questions, provide advice and to meet any of our needs. She spoke excellent English and was a true professional. Breakfast was outstanding and plentiful! We were extremely happy with everything!

Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Borgo Alba Barona. The location is fantastic set on a hillside with a view stretching to the sea and over the surrounding hills. Easy to get to with a rental car, last few hundred metres are a reinforced dirt track that if driven slowly (as recommended) was even managed by our renault twingo. Francesca was really helpful in providing information regarding our stay and always very prompt to any queries. Our room was very large and spotless, air con, big comfortable bed and clean bathroom with good shower. The most memorable part of the stay here was the breakfast. Personally served by Francesca who somehow manages to serve everyone the most wonderful breakfast (meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, eggs and coffee) whilst also providing beach and restaurant recommendations. We had a wonderful stay and the place stands out as very well priced in what is an otherwise expensive part of sardinia.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this accommodation! Francesca was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a breathtaking view that truly enhanced our experience. The breakfast provided was nothing short of perfection, featuring locally sourced ingredients that added an extra touch of flavor and authenticity. We couldn't have asked for a better start to my day. Overall, I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful place to stay! We loved it so much! Beautiful mountain and sea view, clean and spacious room, excellent matress, a free crib for our baby, also with a great matress, delicious homemade breakfast and tasty capucino, parking place next to the room. Each room has a terrace with table and chairs and 2 sunbeds. The windows have mosquitiers, so we could leave them open for some fresh air anytime. Francesca is a lovely host. For sure, we will return one day for at least a week; this time we stayed only 4 days and we were sad that we have to leave so soon. It was the best accomodation we had on the island (out of 4) and it was a great base for us to visit Golfo Aranci, San Teodoro and Porto Cervo. Highly recommended 👌 A rental car is needed in order to arrive to the accommodation, but in my opinion, a car it's anyway a must when visiting the island. PS. very family friendly place, our 9 months old baby was very welcomed here 🙂 It exceeded our expectations! Thank you, Francesca! ❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Definitely our best stay in Sardinia, so sad to have to leave already... we would have gladly stayed a few more nights. We absolutely loved our stay, one of our favourites of all time. The views are stunning, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast is served every morning with a breath taking view. And to top it all off, Francesca is an all star host, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and really made us feel like we were staying with family.
