Excellent service from the knowledgable and very friendly manager, a great guy who has had a lot of industry experience. Early check in was appreciated. This all created a great first impression. The motel room is spacious and well equipped. Excellent spacious bathroom with very good hot water service in the shower. The room has a pleasing traditional Australian decor and good soundproofing. Fresh 40 inch TCL TV works well. Biggest surprise is the Starlink (yes, Elon Musk's company) internet which is super fast and works well, much better than NBN. A short drive into Orbost...Overall, a well run motel.

The double bed mattress was very firm and you could feel the springs, tolerable for one night but probably not for longer stays...

This motel exceeded our expectations. When we arrived in the rain, it looked a bit underwhelming however it was actually really great. The staff were helpful, the room had everything we needed, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery, utensils, washing up liquid and sponge, tea towel etc. hot water!! Yay! Heating, WiFi, fresh smelling sheets. Being on a road trip, this little motel was perfect for our one night stop. Not walking distance to Orbost but only a short drive. Was a really great place to stay.

An exceptionally clean and spacious room in an exceptionally beautiful setting. There was no "motel room" smell, the sheets and pillows were spotless, and the water pressure in the shower was TERRIFIC! There's a beautiful little BBQ area with a gas grill, an electric oven, and a charcoal grill with it's own chimney. I only used this area to brew our morning coffee (with a camping oven we brought ourselves) but I could see this coming in really handy for multi-day stays. The proprietor is a very friendly guy who gave great restaurant recommendations.

Taking into account the price point of the motel and its remote location, nothing was really below my expectations. The internet was limited although we were able to get decent access for checking email. If you're anticipating streaming three different netflix shows at the same time it's not going to happen. You're 5kms out of Orbost - calibrate your expectations appropriately.

This is an old motel and we were expecting it to be a little run down and shabby. However, to our surprise and delight, it was far from being so and presented as a well maintained, roomy, clean and comfortable room. We even had complementary Kit Kat chocolates awaiting us. We were personally greeted by the managers and briefed about good restaurants in nearby Orbost, which also exceeded expectations. Because most rooms are set well back from the busy highway, noise levels were fine. A feature of our room was the beautiful view from the back window to the native bushland, with the immediate bushland areas carefully managed as parkland. Another feature was the proximity to the beachside township of Marlo and nearby Cape Conran, both of which we visited.

The internet connection was poor and kept dropping out. However, we think this might be more to do with being in a possible area of poor broadband provision rather than the fault of the motel.

My partner and I booked on our way from Sydney and they where very accommodating. We got there after the office had closed but they made sure we could get into our room and have a restfull nights sleep. Leaving early in the morning was very easy. I would recommend staying here to anyone and I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much 😊

Convenient bedding configuration for 2 adults and 2 kids. Easy to get to, just pulled off the highway. Good water pressure and had lots of hot water. Cutlery and crockery was provided. The Nescafe coffee sachets were a nice touch as we had an early start in the morning. Very quiet motel. Had everything we needed for the night.

Bed was a bit hard. We were very tired though, we didn't mind

The firm mattress, the retro look throughout, the location & not hearing the traffic noise from the highway and the temperature of the hot water were the highlights and were all fantastic.

Unfortunately the water pressure lacked and after retuning the TV there was still very few channels to watch to finish off the evening but that was all I could fault.

I am very happy with stay. I really appreciate gesture of host as i reached late unaware everything will be closed. So, they provided milk for my child. It made my stay smooth. Room had all facilities like heating,Tv,microwave,cutlery, fridge,toaster and kettle.

Very pastoral area around room. Very spaceous & great facilities! Well kept & very clean rooms!

Far from Orbost & sign missed. Should be more radiant! Be good for breakfast offer. Driveway & drive passages quite rough, rocky & uneven!

perfectly relaxed stay, wish our itinerary allowed for a longer stay, will definitely return.
