Peaceful location. Walking distance to the pub and cafe/general store. Beds were super comfortable. Unit was spotless. Water pressure in the shower was amazing and the towels were so nice. Loved the fresh bread, local milk and freshly roasted coffee. Even had a cute cubby for the kids with plenty of toys inside, our kids had a ball! Plenty of grassed areas for the kids to run around. The pool looked great, would be awesome to stay here in summer and make use of the pool. Overall Marlo Hideaway had everything we needed for our stay.

A lot of mosquitoes, but that’s to be expected when staying close to the water. But a massive positive was the accomodation had plenty of aeroguard on hand to keep the mozzies away!

Cosy unit, with clever use of the space available. There were some welcome provisions left for us (sourdough bread and ground coffee in particular) that made the stay very pleasant. We liked the night light that helped navigate to the toilet. We also liked the outdoor BBQ area.

There wasn't a lot of room inside the unit which included a small room with bunk beds you had to traverse to get to the bathroom. However there was only two of us for two nights so wasn't a big issue

This place is nothing like I have had experience before. Jeff and Rebecca are the best hosts we have come across so far and are really the kindest and most wonderful human beings. The way we were welcomed made the experience even more special. This place certainly exceeded my expectations. Mostly with the complimentary basket of butter, jam, Vegemite, honey and loaf of sourdough bread, not mentioning the local fresh milk and coffee, that was definitely a special touch like no other. My family and I can't wait to go back. We are definitely planning to book again very soon. We absolutely loved everything ❤️ and the kids love the fact that Jeff gave them the opportunity to feed the horses. This place has totally won our hearts 💕

This was our second stay, and we had the detached room. Everything is there for a couple's getaway, you really couldn't ask for more. the host are kind and friendly.

Just one observation, the detached room would not be safe for older people as you have to climb into the double bed and when you want to get out during the night :-) you have to climb over the person next to you.

The Marlo Hideaway tiny house is absolutely stunning. So private, with a sensational view of trees and fields outside the windows. This place has everything. Extremely luxurious towels in the perfectly appointed bathroom. Kitchen things like cling wrap, foil, oil, S and P, as well as fresh ciabatta and butter with spreads. The bed was very comfy and easy to get in and out of even though its higher than a normal bed. The stunning artworks created by the owner. The lovely private outdoor deck and BBQ. But able all, the outdoor bath was the star for me. Perfectly clean with lovely hot water. No better place to sit and watch the birds frolic as the sun sets, with a glass of wine. I thought I was in heaven. Now add in a vege garden you can help yourself to and a pool with gorgeous daybeds. I wish I stayed for a week.

There was nothing not to like. Everything was excellent. Seriously.

Family run business, very friendly owners that checked in to make sure everything was going well. Artworks in the rooms are painted by the owner also. This was our second stay here and this time it was full with the holiday crowd which gave it a great vibe. Everyone was out having a nice time at the pool or communal bbq area but it still felt really peaceful. Nearby pub which is a short walk away is a good place to eat/drink.

A lovely small establishment in the quaint village of Marlo. The provided sourdough loaf is a tasty first breakfast, with a local cafe just across the road to finish the day’s first meal. The restaurant around the corner, overlooking the river, was great for a drink and nice dinner. Jeff, the owner was very helpful with local advice. The bed was comfy, and there was plenty of room for the two of us in our unit.

Perfect for the location.

Bec and Jeff are the most caring and friendliest hosts we've had the pleasure to meet. Their 'Marlo Hideaway'units are roomy, clean and well-appointed with ample storage and hanging space. Jeff's artwork decorates each unit. A full kitchen and extra treats are provided in each unit. A great laundry is provided to guests, free of charge. The five units are surrounded by treed grounds, including a pool, outdoor seating, and a guest kitchen and BBQ. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Bec and Jeff.

Loved everything

Very comfortable bed and nice bedding; unit has a full kitchen and varieties of good quality kitchenware; host Jeff is very kind and hospitable, provided a loaf of bread - very delicious; a small bottle of milk tasted soooo good - perhaps from the cows at the backyard. Parking is very easy. We feel like at home. Only regret is we have only booked for one night. Highly recommend Marlo Hideaway!

The location was ideal and very close to the township. The attention to detail was noted including additional food items provided in the fridge and some breakfast items on the kitchen bench. The night light in the bathroom was appreciated along with a very warm and comfy bed. Due to the very cold and wet weather it was lovely to keep so very warm inside the unit. The owners were very welcoming and friendly making our short stay a very memorable one.
