Lovely room - thank you for the upgrade. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice location. My husband has a medical problem at the moment, and the kitchen staff and waiters were wonderful at accommodating his special diet.

Difficulty with parking. There is a car park across the street, at the back of the hotel, but there was a Pirate Festival on ,on the day that we went, which meant that there were no spaces. We had antisocial neighbours, one of whom decided to bang on his room door, very loudly and for a long period at 1am, calling for the occupant to let him in.

Lovely, spacious, clean ensuite rooms, tucked away and unusually quiet for a town- centre pub. Very restful and well- located for exploring the beautiful soyrrounding countryside. The pub itself is cosy, spacious, and convivial, with a lovely warm atmosphere suitable for all ages. Lovely wood fire and armchairs to warm yourself by and a separate. restaurant with good, hearty, reasonably priced food.Delicious Sunday roast. Food served until 9pm in the week and 12- 8 on Sundays. Staff were helpful. All in all, it was a lovely retreat. I wiukd come again.

No parking so we had to rely on expensive long- stay public car parks nearby, which we had to keep topping up.

We loved the beautiful old building and the size of our room, it was warm and the bed was super comfy. The old exposed beams were beautiful and added to the charm of the room. The pub is in a good location and although it does not have its own car park, we found parking nearby at a reasonable cost.

Unfortunately the room had a really pungent smell of damp/mold when we entered. It appeared to come from the bathroom and lingered throughout our stay, this was quite off-putting. Our room was on two floors and the carpet in our entrance hall and on the stairs was dirty and stained. There was no milk provided in our room so a morning coffee was not possible. Only margarine was provided at breakfast. The after hours access to the rooms was really neglected and gave a really poor first impression.

The location, staff and room were excellent for my needs and the bar very welcoming with the beer well kept and served with a smile and a chat. Reception on arrival was particularly good although it was obviously a very busy time in the bar/restaurant and a couple had checked in just before me, I felt that I was given all the care and attention that was required and made to feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. Also given clear advice on car parking. An historic and interesting Inn located within easy walking distance of the town centre, car parks, theatre and facilities.

The breakfast was very disappointing, probably due to the quality of ingredients, rather than the preparation. The sausage was pappy, the toast uneatable and the fried egg white was not fully cooked. This was not reported at the time as I do not believe anything could have been done at that time to improve it. I did however report to the staff that the shower in my room would not run hot, although the bath did, and that was fine.

A spacious twin room that overlooked West street. Super comfy beds. Staff were some of the friendliest that I have ever encountered from my Booking.com experiences. This was my second stay here, it won't be the last. Breakfast was excellent, cooked really well, great options available. My son enjoyed the full English and I had the vegan, the vegan sausages were very tasty! The pub is full of character, originated in 14th C, wood panels, huge fireplace, quirky cosy corners, fantastic beer garden. A great place to stay in Faversham.

Bathroom is a little tired, some wear and tear/dents on the bottom of the bath tub and mastic around the shower screen is old/stained, but the rest of the bathroom was clean.

We and friends had booked two of the delux rooms which were both superb. Absolutely stunning rooms with fantastic facilities. Beams across the ceilings, comfy beds, spacious rooms, very clean and I could go on. A stunning hotel with stunning rooms and it was clear to see that care and love had gone into creating these rooms. The breakfast was superb as well and the location could not have been better.

Although the rooms were very nice, we though the cost per night was on the steep side for a small village/town like Faversham. We even considered booking a hotel further afield and get a taxi into town which would have saved us quite a bit of money.

Absolutely beautiful pub, lovely dining area, great bar area and nice garden area. Very spacious and comfortable. Room was really nice size. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Very clean. Food was lovely, steak and ale pie was best I have ever had. Staff friendly and nice. Very good value for money, room included a very nice breakfast. Would recommend

It was a hot muggy evening, unfortunately the window in the room didn’t open enough and the fan in the bedroom was too small to cope with the heat. I understand it’s an old building (beautiful old building which has been maintained so well, giving a nod to the past) and we can’t control the weather but a bigger fan would help.

The staff were really lovely, they let us drop our bags in our room hours before check in and stored them after check out. The bed was comfy, we had everything we needed including lovely bathroom amenities, a bottle of water on arrival and good storage. Breakfast was also really good, with a lot of different options (good coffee too).

The floorboards in our room were quite creaky and when we arrived an area on the carpet was quite wet (unsure why!). It got a little noisy in the evening and the pub is overlooked, but that's to be expected! All minor things :)

Beautiful very old building. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, including a Nespresso machine. Fan in wardrobe which was great as it was a very warm evening. They particularly noted that I had told them about being deaf on arrival which was very reassuring as I was on my own. Convenient long term parking a short distance away.

Restaurant food very pub grub! Not wonderful. No milk for drinks in room.

The location was ideal, bang in the middle of everything. Our deluxe double was great, with an added bonus of being a ground floor room with our own little garden, with table and chairs. Room was beautiful, wet room shower (obviously catered for disabled), but was so nice. The bed was a King size and one if the most comfortable beds I have slept on. We had instant access to the bar area which was handy. Lovely white towelling robes although we didn't get to use them. Breakfast was very well organised and very enjoyable. Good adequate size plateful of the English breakfast which was just right, but great menu choice of other breakfast available. Friendly staff and Gemma was lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

A creaky floor board at the end of our bed. A bit irritating but didn't spoil our stay.
