We absolutely loved everything about our stay at The Crescent Turner Hotel, from check-in to check-out. The room was stunning, the views were breathtaking, the food was exceptional, and the service was second to none. There was truly nothing we didn’t like! The only slight confusion was with DBB (Dinner, Bed & Breakfast), as while dinner was included, it was actually an allowance rather than a full meal. However, once we understood it, it made sense and didn’t take away from our amazing experience. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we can’t wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Two external events at the venue during our two-day stay, one of which was not intrusive, except late in the evening as guests roamed around the grounds, but the other event was extremely so. Only informed of events by phone 5 days in advance, with details not being accurate enough for us to make an informed decision to defer. Staff didn’t quite appreciate how obtrusive such an event could be on guests, way too loud music Parking spaces at a premium Would be even better with a swimming pool

A warm and helpful welcome by reception. A lovely spacious and quiet double room and bathroom which was particularly nice to use with a large walk-in shower including complimentary gels/lotions. The restaurant for dinner was busy, but staff attentive and we enjoyed a quality dinner menu with drinks on the patio overlooking the estuary, topped off by a lovely sunset!

There was a bedside light on one side of the bed, but not on the other bedside small table which proved challenging when getting up during the night, so had to use a mobile phone torch. We did not take breakfast whilst at the hotel mainly as it finishes at 09.45 which is fine for weekdays, but at weekends a slightly later time window would have been appreciated.

The position. The staff were polite and helpful at all times. The room we had was clean, spacious and comfortable with a lovely view. The food was really good.

Reception area needs to be smartened up. Also the office area. Dining room: pepper and salt should be on all tables, not just on some. There should be sharper knives available when necessary. Breakfast: would prefer fresh fruit with granola, not fruit compote. Croissants with continental breakfast would be nice, not just toast. Room: ‘do not disturb/please make up room’ signs should be available to put outside doors. We were having a rest and staff tried to get in our room not realising that our key was in the door!

The Crescent Turner is a wonderful, privately run hotel and is truly individual, with fab decor, cosy and clean rooms and a fantastic view over its gardens and out towards Whistable . The staff and service is impeccable and flawless and nothing is too much trouble. I went for a wake which was held at the hotel and so I stayed the night. The wake was very special aided again by the friendly and attentive staff looking after the event. The dinner I had was delicious and the full English breakfast beautifully cooked and served on the terrace looking out over the view . I would highly recommend a stay here to anyone visiting this area.

Nothing to dislike - it’s perfect in every way.

Everything about it was amazing!! The main positive was the team. From the warm welcome by Sarah, despite me arriving late on Sunday evening, and then every member of the team throughout the whole week being just kind, friendly and helpful. Pam, Ann Marie, Harriet and Natalie were especially so and made me feel so welcome that it made my week away from home, a real pleasure. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable, with views that you can only imagine being raised up and looking out to sea. The restaurant was a joy and the food, prepared by truly caring chefs, was simply delicious and excitingly different, if you chose to be adventurous. Thank you Team! I really hope to see you all again soon.

Great location with stunning views to the sea. Good breakfast although all to order, including juice, cereal etc. rather than buffet style. The hotel is characterful and the furnishings match that. Our room had a balcony overlooking the grounds which would have been lovely had the weather been better. The bed was comfortable.

Our room (no. 13) was up two sets of stairs with narrow treads right at the top of the building. The room is in the eaves so there are lots of low ceilings making it necessary to duck, for example, when accessing the wardrobe and even when getting into the shower. It would be easy to hit your head. The shower is very modern with rainforest shower head and shower attachment but there is nowhere to put shower gel, soap or shampoo. We ended up putting them on the floor of the shower tray. The safe and hairdryer were on the floor in the bottom of the wardrobe. There is limited drawer space.

We stayed in room 12 which was a deluxe room, very clean, comfortable and large with its own patio area. Unfortunately it was too hot to sit outside as it was in full sun with no shade. It was lovely being able to open the patio doors though to enjoy the far reaching views and sunset. All staff without exception were very friendly, polite and helpful. Both the evening meal and breakfast were very tasty and well presented.

There was a function on at the hotel which did impact our stay slightly due to the noise, it certainly would have been more peaceful without the additional numbers drinking throughout the afternoon and evening.

The welcome of the staff was fantastic. We were made to feel at home immediately and our boys felt comfortable even though there weren't other kids around. The family room was wonderful - it narrow and long, with the kids staying at the opposite side of the room with 2 1-seaters in between and a dressing table. The boys loved it - they even had their own TV!! The staff really went out of the way to help us and make sure our stay went better than planned!

The coffee and tea station could be improved with a small Nespresso-like machine, which would make a real difference. A selection of herbal teas would also be a nice addition. A small fridge with fresh milk would have been greatly appreciated, especially for families like ours who need to store medication. I imagine we’re not the only ones in this situation, so a fridge would be a valuable addition. It would also be helpful to have hand soap available, rather than just shower gel and shampoo (which were lovely!)

The room was lovely, with an amazing view. Unfortunately it was too windy to enjoy the balcony when we stayed, but we still managed to enjoy the sunset from inside through the large picture window. The room was compact, but very comfortable, with everything you'd want and a spacious bathroom. Good breakfast.

A bit of a way out of town, so not ideal for non-drivers like us. Taxis were easy to book, and only about £6 each way though. It was easily walkable back down hill into town the next morning-about 30 mins (the hotel is on a narrow country road so not advisable to walk after dark).
