Amazing location even having to check in at the sister hotel which is a bit if a walk from the boat house wouldn't put us off staying again. It was lovely clean and check in was smooth. Good value for a night's stay. Had tea coffee making facilities comfy bed and shower. We will be back . Really near the fantastic restaurant the whitstable oyster company and pubs such as the persons Arms lazy lobster and short walk from the Neptune. Also there is a little place outside to have brekkie on the beach right outside the huts.

Location was very good. The apartment was quirky. We liked the balcony overlooking the sea. It was nice that deckchairs were provided (we didn't use them ) Garage for car a bonus. Cold drinks in Fridge a nice gesture Staff at hotel and housekeeping on site very helpful

Door to apartment didn't lock (I did tell Housecleaning staff). Fridge did not seem very cold, an ice compartment would have been great. Walls were thin so could here people from other rooms coming in and out

Since breakfast is a 10-15 minute walk away, it was good to have a generous (for one person) array of water/juice boxes to consume. The furnishings were subtle and stylish and either new or well maintained. All the appliances worked well apart from very limited and bizarre tv channel availability. The bed was gloriously comfortable. The location is absolutely outstanding.

I did miss having a little fridge- just for milk (when the given sachets run out) and snacks. The WiFi only worked on the first afternoon. It is in the centre of Whitstable so you should expect the noise of early hour traders and late evening road works.

The room is in a great central location minutes from coffee shops, restaurants and shops. Our room was on the street which we knew before booking (v quiet) but some of the rooms will have a sea view as well. The rooms are exceptionally well appointed including everything you may need including a fan, iron and board, mini fridge stocked with water and orange juice), tea making facilities and biscuits, toiletries, TV, plenty of towels and a comfy bed. It was exceptionally clean as well. The information in the room provides details you may need for health services in case you have any issues whilst staying. They have thought of everything.

The pillows were harder than I would like

The location is amazing. The sea view and two outside balcony spaces are a real bonus. Having both a bath and shower is great. Having the fridge was really nice (although it wasn't very cold!) Lovely to have proper milk and some bottled water provided. The spaces were clean and welcoming. Having TVs in both rooms was nice. Great to have the parking space and that this was available before check in and after check out for a bit of extra time. Loved being able to get a nice coffee in the morning from the booth just outside. Overall we really enjoyed our stay! This is the second time we've stayed in this accomodation so that says a lot!

The fridge was lovely but it didn't feel very cold so we were a little nervous about drinking the milk by day 2. There were no tea bags at all. It would be nicer if the bed upstairs wasn't two singles pushed together as we could really feel the gap. Be aware that if you are tall the upstairs space has very low sloping ceilings so you have to get used to that and mind your head!

Amazing location with parking a real bonus. Two balconies. Spotlessly clean. Receptionist at hotel desk to check in really helpful and friendly when we rang as we’re having trouble finding the parking spot. Nice decor , toiletries and tea / coffee etc provided.

Nothing to dislike ! But two small suggestions - a sign saying boat house in the parking area wouid be really helpful. Plus a small table under the tv in the upstairs room to put keys / wallet on etc would be useful. Note for families - there is no kitchen ( no problem for us ) but space to eat on the balcony if you brought food back to the property

Everything! Modern, brand new, clean, comfy! The room is spacious, has everything you need, a proper double bed not two singles pushed together like most cheap hotels, plus super comfy hard mattress amazing for your back, clean white sheets and funny covers on the cushions, little fridge, desk, kettle, hair dryer and even a wind break tent thingy in the closet. Massive tv (who cares???) and the loo is state of the art with a huge monsoon shower (could’ve spent an hour in there!) Plus it’s right in the beach which you can see from the window if you crane your head out and right next to a coffee/oyster place amazing after a morning 5k beach side run! Will use again!

Didn’t use the in house instant coffee sachets yuuuuck. In this day and age could’ve splashed out on a £5 French press and real ground coffee … but the place downstairs is perfect anyways …

Really good location, right on the seafront and near the high street. Quiet, yet a super short walk to some great bars, restaurants and breakfast spots etc. Staff at the Hotel Continental were lovely, super helpful.

The bathroom needs a blind. It can be seen from a number of neighbouring windows. The one opposite could literally look straight in. In the evening, if you had the light on and it was dark outside someone would have a clear view. Check in as at a hotel about 10 - 15 minute walk away.

Perfect location and super clean! Plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits to enjoy a few cups and water/juice in fridge. Great shower and beds comfortable:) Pillows hard for me but just my personal preference.

We had a problem with the room next door having TV so loud we could hear it! I called reception and within a few minutes the hotel manager appeared and sorted it.. staff at this hotel are amazing!

Although parking was a little confusing, (might just have been me) everything else was very straight forward. We stayed for my partners birthday and luckily had great weather which meant we could enjoy the balcony all that much more. Facilities were great. Location was great. A few scuffs on the walls but they could have been from the last people staying but other than that, we both loved it
